We love our members, so here's what we've done for you lately!
We’re so excited by all the great feedback we get from you -- our awesome members -- everyday! You spoke, and we listened... and to celebrate, we created a new page: What Readers Are Saying About NetGalley! Email us or tweet @NetGalley with your own feedback.
We love how many of our members tweet links to their reviews of NetGalley books. Now, we've created a special Reviews tab on our Facebook Page where reviewers and bloggers are also sharing links to their reviews. It’s another place to share your reviews, so be sure to include a link so you can get extra traffic to your website/blog!
NetGalley has a whole new look, including a homepage makeover and catalog revamp, plus we've introduced a new QUICK BROWSE reader, too.
Check out our sleek homepage, with new navigation so you can easily find information, and a special What's New at NetGalley area.
The Catalog is where it really gets exciting. Along with an overall fresh new look, we've made a ton of changes -- many of which you requested. Here's the breakdown:
Browse instantly from the left-hand navigation
- Browse by Titles Recently Added
- Browse by Publisher
and best of all...
Focus on what you want with sorting and searching
- Sort by Date Added, Most Requested, Title, Publisher, Imprint, Author, and Pub Date
- Search by Author, Title, Imprint, Publisher, and Genre
See more about each title
- Now ISBN and Genre show in the main catalog view
Lastly, we've changed our QUICK BROWSE reading option. Our new online viewer includes some great benefits, including zoom and easier page-turning.
Other recent updates:
We've launched an easy and elegant new login/registration page so you can get to galleys even faster. You may also start seeing something special in emails from publicists -- a cool new invite widget that gives you instant access to their galley.
Buzz: We're celebrating the media success of titles in NetGalley on a new Buzz page that is itself getting lots of buzz. To add your review to this page, email Lindsey or tweet @NetGalley.
Digital Catalogs: Have you heard about our partnership with Edelweiss? Digital galleys from NetGalley will soon be available in Edelweiss's digital catalogs. (Read the release.)
Want a sneak peek at how “NetGalleys” will look in Edelweiss digital catalogs? Here’s how it works.
Excerpts: We have a new partnership with Dial-A-Book too, so publishers can now offer first-chapter excerpts along with their galleys. It's another way for you to preview titles from the catalog -- even before you request.
Plus: be sure to tell us what kinds of books you like. We'll be sending out genre-specific email newsletters so you know when new galleys that fit your preferences have been added to the catalog.
Want Some Help?
We’re here for you! Lindsey Rudnickas serves as your Digital Concierge. She’s the main liaison between our Reader community and our Publisher community. It’s her goal to help you find titles that interest you, and to connect you with publishers. She’d love to hear from you! Email her anytime.
What Do You Think?
