There are some things in life that would be tough to go through and being jilted at the alter would be one of them. I would like to think that I could move on after something like that, but everyone reacts differently. Jace throws himself into his ranch, but he cannot get over what happened. He can't forgive and can't move on, but when his childhood nemesis comes back home, the sparks fly...and not always in a good way.

Jace and Belle both have baggage and hurt to overcome and I enjoyed the way this story all came together. The lessons of redemption and forgiveness were heart-warming and I loved the growth and progress that ensued.

Great love story. You liked the characters and enjoyed following their ups and downs. Need to read more from this author.

Sixty degrees below zero? Yikes!

Why should he know if she's back in town if they never kept in touch?

Calvin sounds like he's stuck in the fifties.

Wendy sounds like a witch.

Poor thing, he can't handle crowds?

What was that. drive-by flirting?

He doesn't like pancakes? Or bacon?! I'd leave him on the side of the road.

I guess it's healthy that he forgave his mom. I hope she had a good reason, though.

They've been dating for weeks and she's never seen him without his hat on?

Yeah, it's weird that she only got her own house so they could date.

Is Mari developmentally disabled?
