Another series ending and I’m sad that we’ll no longer be seeing the residents of Thistle Bend, Colorado. I enjoyed the first two books in this trilogy, but I really loved Could’ve Said Yes. Two broken engagements, a man ready for some unattached fun, a woman not ready to trust again, and a chance meeting all lead to what they thinl will be a fun and sexy short term affair, but turns into so much more.

For Collin Cooper, the best things about being on a temporary assignment in Thistle Bend is having the time to ride his Ducati through some beautiful views and being away from his ex-fiancée in Durham. He’s hoping to ride his bike often, work hard, and find some women to spend time in his bed and not get involved, with any luck he’d get back home get the promotion he is after and move on with his life. He just doesn’t count on meeting the alluring Ellie London.

Returning to Thistle Bend after ending her engagement with her cheating fiancé, Ellie London feels like her life is getting back on track. She loves being near her brothers and her friends and thanks to her benefactors she was able to open her art studio to supplement her income as a freelance photographer for the local paper. When she meets Collin Cooper on a scenic overlook she can’t deny the attraction, but with the hurt from her broken engagement fairly fresh she’s not sure she’s ready for what Collin seems to be offering.

I really enjoyed these two together and the way they bonded over their similar breakups and their love of the great outdoors. There was an easiness to the way they fell into a relationship and the fun they had together. They both made some slight mistakes but owned up to them quickly and moved on which I appreciated greatly.

Charismatic characters, a sweet friendship, sexy times and a beautiful setting all added up to one fantastic and exciting romance.

Could’ve Said Yes by Tracy March is the last book in the Thistle Bend series. I love this little town in Colorado and all the characters in it. This is a well written story and an enjoyable read about a small town romance. The main characters are Collin and Ellie, who both are nursing broken hearts. They discover that they have terrific chemistry together and soon fall into a relationship. This book had romance and a bit of suspense with an environmental issue that is presented. It was an easy read and enjoyable. I recommend it and liked this last book in the Thistle Bend series. I look forward to reading more from Tracy March in the future.

I received this advanced reader’s copy from Netgalley for my review.
