The cover of this book was what really drew me in, in the first place. It looks cute but has a very mysterious look about it in some of the shots.
I am glad I was approved for this book because it was fantastic. Even as a 30 year old, I really enjoyed it.
The story was told from 7 different perspectives but they all came together perfectly and not many authors have the ability to switch from one character to another so flawlessly. Much praise for that!

The premise of this - 7 authors tell the story of a middle school dance from 7 perspectives - grabbed my attention. And the execution was great. I really enjoyed the characters and the way everything came together. There are so many fun pieces to this - the band, the crushes and dating ups and down, the almost step-sibling rivalry, and the revenge plot. The kids seemed more like freshmen rather than 7th graders to me, but otherwise the story was terrific. I would put this in the hands of kids from 5th grade up through middle school, although some younger and older readers will enjoy it, too.
