This book was more than I'd hoped for. It was such an intimate portrait of Hayes' relationship with Sacks but also such a wonderful peek into his life and how he got to the place he is now. I can't say enough good things.

I gave this book 4.5 stars! This book was beautifully written. I'm in awe of the writing, the mundane moments and memories and instances that were brought to life so flawlessly. This book took my breath away and is without a doubt one of the most beautiful books that I've read this year! I thoroughly enjoyed my time reading it and I would reread it again and again without a second thought.
