Writing is good, and the story has some entertaining parts. Also, I like the sweet moments between Logan and Brooke, and the good friendships. I just didn't connect with the tone of this story; I don't like the style and vibe of the characters. This is like preppy ex-frat boys finally growing the heck up and finding love; not the type of guy I want to read about.

Logan just found out he has a 24 year old sister he's never met and that one of his manwhore best friends is sleeping with her, so he left one of his saving missions early to go deal with all the drama. He ends up stranded in the Caribbean when there's a hurricane, but luckily, he ends up connecting back up with an old high school friend, Brooke. Liked how Brooke and Logan meet back up; they knew each other in high school and had crushes, but they never romantically connected. Friendship turns to passion; each has their own things going on in their lives, so they say no strings, but things don't quite work out that way. Logan has a hero complex, but it seems like he isn't really happy about it and he's just too over the top with it. Also, he's too much flirt and not enough real for me; he wasn't my favorite. I liked Brooke though. They are cute together, but I didn't like their banter; they are both just too quick to be prickly with each other. Their connection didn't have enough depth for me.

Overall, an okay story, but not a favorite.

I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. I liked the premise of this book and really enjoyed the characters. The story started out in a really fun way, the being stranded with an old flame, but as the book moved on the story weakened for me. It wasn't as fun or imaginative once they got back to their "real" lives.

Possible Spoilers:

I really wanted to like this book which focuses on Logan, Knox’s best friend and Madison’s half brother, but I just couldn’t connect with Logan and Brooke. Logan is the one friend who wasn’t in the accident when they were younger, but he was the one that found them when other people wanted to give up, so Logan has some survivor’s guilt so he tries to save others who experience disasters. Logan and Brooke both come from super rich families and although they aren’t into the rich lifestyle like their parents, you can tell that even though they have “normal” jobs they enjoy the finer things in life.

I have to be honest this book got somewhat interesting at 50% mark, but again lost my interest so I ended up skipping passages. They both sounded a bit immature to me: Logan, when his dad wants him to take over and he essentially wants no responsibilities he throws a “tantrum” and Brooke when agrees with no strings attached with Logan then gets mad when he doesn’t want strings. Logan and Brooke were high school besties who practically lived at each other’s houses, but completely lost touch after graduation and never spoke or contacted each other again.

Also Logan’s father reason for Madison was complete crap and he sounded like a total coward. He left his son because he was separated from Logan’s mom and fell in love with someone else. He got her pregnant and Madison reminded him so much of Logan, he went back and took over his dad’s company, but had to stay with Logan’s mother if he wanted to see Logan. And he couldn’t handle seeing Madison part time so he completely left her life and never contacted her.

Giving It All by Christi Barth is the third book in her delightful "Naked Men" series. Book three centres around Logan Marsh, the only one of the five men who did not get lost in the accident that drew these five men together. As teenagers, four of them were lost in the Italian Alps following a bus crash that killed their driver and left them injured and lost, in freezing conditions. By chance, Logan was left behind and was then responsible for finding them with the help of other rescuers. This traumatic event was life-changing for all the young boys who vowed to continue their lives always the truest of friends. This rescue shaped Logan's future directly, because for the last ten years he has been actively, professionally, rushing off to work in areas devastated by natural disasters and working to rebuild lives in underprivileged countries around the world. His wealthy family run a charity to fund recovery in distant places and Logan is their "hands-on" representative who never stops his almost one-man crusade to save the world from disaster, war and poverty.

Logan has received a message telling him he has a half-sister, an adult, whom he never knew existed! He's desperate to get back home to find out what this is all about, because it also means that the perfect father he's respected all his life is not an innocent man, but is someone he now thinks he might not know! He hops on and off planes, taking connecting flights where ever he can to get home in the northern winter weather and finally ends up stranded in the Caribbean with a hurricane on its way. There is a beautiful women who is none other than a close friend from high school , Brooke Gallagher, who is there on a much-needed break from teaching. They are more than amazed to see each other and things become very heated, after they both admit to wanting each other years ago. They spend idyllic days and nights together until the weather clears and Logan can get back to Washington D.C. to get answers.

The rest of the group of friends welcome him back to the fold and he slips back into the "Naked Men" blog/podcast which has thrived in his absence, but finds many changes in the lives of his friends. Brooke returns home as well and he is conflicted with the changes in every facet of his life. It is very unsettling for this man who thought he had all the answers, only to find he has none!
Christi Barth weaves an intricate thread through these books and I am eagerly looking forward to the next story in the series. She draws the reader into the story with those details that make you feel you are part of the journey, walking the paths with the "Naked Men" as they meet the love of their life, make decisions about their careers and interact with each other. This is a series you should not miss out on. There is time to catch up before the next book is published!

Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

Oh Logan. You poor, sweet, hero-complex-having soul. Logan has never forgiven himself for not being with his friends when they crashed, but if it wasn't for him, they would have never been found. He took that with him throughout his life, visiting obscure disaster sites to do whatever is necessary to help those around him.

Thanks to a hurricane, he's stranded on a tropical island and who should he be stuck with but Brooke. The girl who was his friend and tutor in high school. Turns out they have both always been attracted to the other, so it isn't long before sparks start flying. Brooke is struggling with her future too. Having thrived as a teacher, she suffers an unimaginable loss and is at a crossroads, unsure of where to go next.

Watching these two come together was such fun, but it was brutal knowing that Logan (and all of these guys really) have taken this insanely traumatic event and carried it with them, allowing it to impact the men they've become. Logan refuses to see that he can help the people closest to him, he doesn't need to travel the globe to do good. Brooke knows that falling for Logan will only lead to heartache, but when has love ever played fair?

Such a great read, although Logan was a bit annoying than the other guys. I think him not being involved in the first two books really affected my connection with him.

GIVING IT ALL - Christi Barth

#3 in the Naked Men romance series

THE TRAVELER COMES HOME - 4 stars

Plot - 4 stars - Logan Is the traveler of the group, always on the move, helping others and helping to save the world, one person at a time. When on his way home for a family crisis, he is stuck on a small island during a hurricane and reconnects with an old school friend--female, of course.

Writing - 4 stars - I was drawn into the story right away. Although I've read the previous two books in the series and was familiar with the background, it was still helpful to open the book with a brief recap, from the rescuers' point of view this time. Barth is able to draw such attractive characters that you can't help but root for their success, both in romance as well as their other life choices. The friendly banter among the guys is hilarious, and the camaraderie between the women friends as well as between Logan and Brooke is entertaining and fun.

Characters - 4 stars - This was a favorite part of the book for me. Logan is the strong, silent type, with a heart of gold, even as he's the playboy love-em-and-leave-em guy. His mix of nice and bad-boy is very appealing. He's got a strong, heroic side, ignoring his own "selfish" needs and working for (and next to) the little guy. Brooke is a former teacher who is struggling with a tragedy that happened to one of her students. Her indecision about her job is believable, and the fact that she accepts that she can't count on Logan for a long-term relationship makes her realistic and also explains why she can't depend on his full support. But she's tough and recognizes that she deserves more than the temporary relationship that Logan is offering her. I loved the give-and-take between Logan and Brooke and appreciated their hesitation in taking their relationship to the next level.

Title - 4 stars - Logan is the member of the group who gives back. He travels the world in search of people to help, so "Giving It All" is the perfect title since he gives to "faceless strangers" even before he considers taking what he (and his closest friends) deserve.

Cover - 4 stars - Typical naked abs. In this case it makes a little more sense than the usual covers provided for this genre because of the title of the series--Naked Men.

Overview - 4 stars - Another winner in this very enjoyable and romantic series. I love the world that Barth has created and the circle of friends, loosely based around school friends who have grown up together and now present a podcast to the world as they live their lives and try to decipher the relationships they all deal with. The interactions between the characters is great, and we continue to revisit with MC's from previous books as we get to know each new character even more intimately.

I have come to love Barth's stories! Second Chance romances are my favorite and when Logan and Brooke find themselves together again - decisions will have to be made as to whether he can stay in one place long enough to give this relationship a try. This installment of this fantasitc series was sexy and sweet.

I absolutely love this Naked Men series! And now it's Logan's turn to fall in love. Brooke is his perfect partner. Logan's still reeling from the discovery of having a half sister, but Brooke keeps him grounded. Even when he's so very reluctant to admit his feelings. I love how the Naked Men's friendship has provided all of them a family life and a serious bond of friendship that allows them to be totally frank and honest. Especially when they all need a reminder that love happens no matter how hard you try to fight it!

Another fantastic book by Christi Barth! I can't wait to see what she comes up with next!

This is the third installment in the Naked Men series. But you can read it as a stand-alone. Logan travels all over the world and as a result of that, all he has had is no-strings, casual relationships. He finds himself stuck on a tropical island, where he runs into his high-school crush, Brooke. Because of a heartbreaking tragedy, Brooke quit her teaching job. While waiting for a storm to pass, Brooke and Logan spend time together. However their time is shortened when Logan is called back home to deal with family issues. The characters are strong and relatable. They feel like just your normal every day average person. They handled their issues head on and only grew stronger for it. I love the Naked Men series and recommend.

Giving It All is the 3rd book in the Naked Men series & its a great read. This entire series has been so fun & I enjoy the sexy, smart, & entertaining characters that Christi Barth creates.

It is the 3rd book in a series but each book can be read as a stand alone (but do yourself a favor & check out the other books)

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I really did like this book. I thought Logan was an amazing person. I liked the transformation he went through during this book. And of course it was mostly due to Brooke. Brooke was a character that had an amazing amount of strength and resilience.

I found that she was my favorite character in this series so far. I loved that she was so passionate about what she does, and that she saw through Logan and his issues. She cared enough to stick around and help him, and love him.

The two had such wonderful chemistry. Their banter was on point, and made better by the fact that they had so much history together. Overall, the book was really well done. It was funny, and somehow incredibly emotional for a romance novel. Don't worry, it still gets hot and steamy and mushy and everything else you would expect, but there really is some harsh reality in this one as well.

It was a quick read, and I would recommend that any of you on the fence should just read it.

Even though I'm not a fan of 3rd person POV, I still find Barth's novels enjoyable. Giving It All was a smart and real read. The plot was simple but strong. The Characters were well developed. I love how Barth has created a slew of characters for this book and each is unique. I truly enjoy the whole gang. I'm excited to jump into book four, as this series is one of my favorites!

I loved this book, just like the rest of this series. Can't wait for the next one! I posted a review on Goodreads.

This story is full of of excitement, fun and romance. And it's the most satisfying story of the series. Logan is a loner due to the trauma he suffered 10 years ago. But deep down he longs to be with for the people he loves. It turns out that he's quite the romantic ladies man, but he's afraid to lose the people he cares for. So he doesn't let himself care. Brooke is a very sweet person with a big heart who keeps getting crapped on by men, and kicked by life. The friendship they had in high school evolves from that to a fling, then to an awkward relationship. The fight that Logan has with himself about what he wants from life is sad, he has the worst PTSD of all the ACSs. The storyline is engrossing and dramatic, and loaded with excitement. It's a must add to your TBR list.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. This is my voluntary and honest opinion of it.

Ahhh Logan, I have been waiting for his story since I started to read this series from Christi Barth and I am so happy I was not disappointed. Logan being the most mysterious of the ACS mainly because he hasn't been around for the first two books. So happy he finally made an appearance.

Logan has to get home, evidently his long lost sister has shown up and now is engaged to his best friend Knox. So he needs to meet a sister he never knew he had and kill his best friend. Of course traveling half way around the world doesn't always go smoothly and he ends up in the islands of the Dominica where he runs into an old friend/crush from high school, Brooke more beautiful than ever. Now back home Brooke wasn't supposed to be anything more than one night of great sex and now she is home, his sister and Knox are engaged and his father wants Logan to stay home and run the family foundation, all Logan wants is to sleep, eat good food, hang with the ACS crew and wait to leave again. He can't fall in love with Brooke and stay, can he?

I love this series and Logan's Book is by far my favorite so far. Ms Barth does a great job handling the character dynamics of her 5 leading men and gives them each their own voice so well. I believed Logan's hero complex and why he has it, the arc he goes on was well paced and believable. I also loved Brooke who has her own journey of self discovery she must go on. We get to see the 5 men all together finally and it's great. Of course there are podcasts, and glimpses of the women we have met in the previous books. I am so excited for Riley`s book next for sure.
