Oh his way home from yet another mission trip, Logan finds himself stranded on an island during a hurricane and runs into an old high school friend, Brooke. They catch up on old times and both admit to having secret crushes on each other back in high school. They spend one amazing night together and they figure that they'll never run into each other again as she's moving out of the D.C, area.

Plans change and they find themselves spending more and more time together in a friends with benefits arrangement, but soon find things getting more serious than they intended. Can two souls who suffer from guilt find a way to forgive themselves before it's too late?

I have pretty much enjoyed the rest of the series, but this book wasn't as good as the others for me. Logan was an amazing character except when it came to dealing with what happened in Italy years ago. His survivor's guilt was off-putting after a while. Other than that, I enjoyed the story and look forward to the next one.

Naked Men book three, and I have to say I think so far this one is my favorite. Logan is more complex than the other guys, he's not as selfish as some of the others guys seem, in a crazy way he is unselfish to the point of being selfish. Yes it's weird and an oxymoron but he has sacrificed so much to help others and his relationship with his father has suffered for it and his friends rarely get to see him anymore he's always off in some third world country helping them recover after natural disasters. But he's so dead set on helping other people his own life is practically barren but he won't give it up he has to be the one there helping or else it doesn't feel like he's helping at all.

Logan's world has had a monkey wrench thrown in it when he found out about a sister he never knew he had, and rushing back to the states to try and repair the disaster of a first meeting when a hurricane strands him in the Caribbean. Brooke Gallagher needed a break from her life she went for a paradise vacation and got caught in a hurricane. Brooke left her home ec teaching/ cheerleader coach job at the high school after something tragic happened and she could no longer stomach the idea of being on influence on young people's lives and her boyfriend left her because if it. Logan and Brooke were really good friends in high school, they both had crushes on each other but timing was never on their side. But now years later both stranded on a tropical island together during a hurricane they agree to give into the lust.

When they get back to D.C. Logan sticks his foot in his mouth and ends up with a black eye and no desire to stay at the house with the other guys. Brooke is there and offers him her spare room. Even though they both said what happens on the island stays on the island but when they get near each other they can't keep their hands off of each other. Brooke and Logan are trying to work through their own problems but Logan is a great listener and helps Brooke put things in perspective and vise versa, but Logan is a little bit more stubborn and he doesn't want to give up the way he is living to take over the company for his father and not for Brooke either.

Overall, definitely my favorite of the three so far.

Giving It All by Christi Barth is book 3 in the Naked Men Series. I keep expecting one of the ACS’s men to behave as a mature male. Likable as each one is, it just doesn’t happen. Logan stays true to form in that while he is admirable professionally; personally he is still emotionally stunted. I understand that the tragic accident shaped their lives but I agree with Brooke Gallagher whose states that in DC they still live as if they are frat boys; think foul joking insults to each other, food and constant thoughts of sex. It is through the generosity of the author that such fine women are falling in love with for each of them.

Logan has dedicated his life to be the one whose makes a difference. I really liked that about him. Brooke has also reached a tipping point in her life after a much recent tragedy. Logan has much to learn from her. She is a true friend; it is no wonder that this friend reunion becomes so much more. For me, she makes the story. Her defining moment is just as great as Logan’s but she manages to move forward with grace.

Overall, the story is developed and interesting even if it is a bit predictable. My biggest pet peeve with the book, I could gladly live the rest of my life without reading “douchebag” ever again. As a college graduate, wouldn’t Logan know a few more words he could use?

Third in the Naked Men series, Giving It All is smother winning story from Christi Barth. This friends to lovers story brings former high school best friends Logan and Brooke together again ten years later. I really like these two. Both have issues in their past which strongly impact on the way they are today. I liked the way they helped each other to address those issues. With strong and believable characters and a plot that kept me up way past my bedtime, this book really worked well for me.

I love this series! Barth is so talented. She brings Logan, Brooke, Madison, Knox and the rest of the gang to life so vividly. The guys are all super hot, very genuine, and not afraid of the love they have for each other. Who wouldn't want a man like these guys?

I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Read it. Love it. Period.

I received an ARC of this book, from the publisher, via NetGallery, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

This is the third book in the Naked Men series, and the 2nd one I've read. I missed the second book apparently. I don't think I'm going to read any more of them. The biggest thing for me is the men. I just really, really don't like them.

Logan is the do-gooder of the group, constantly flying off to natural disaster sites, helping to rebuild and help find people. But he's coming home early because he just found out that he has a sister he knew nothing about. He wants to meet her and talk to his dad to find out how he managed to have another child and then ignore her for twenty-four years.

But he's also really pissed off because apparently Madison, his sister, has been dating his best friend, Knox. This is my big problem with this book and these guys. Apparently Knox is a well-known and self-described man-whore. Fine. I don't care who sleeps with who. What I do care about is Logan's fury that Knox would dare to sleep with his sister. "I know how you treat women. You treat them like fucking tissues." Which everyone has been just fine with. No one has said word one to Knox about his treatment of women. All of these men have been a-okay with Knox treating women like tissues, but now that one of those women is Logan's sister, it's an issue. First of all, if those women were just in it for a good time, then Knox wasn't treating them like tissues, they were all consenting adults getting exactly what they were after. And if Madison was in that same boat, then so be it. She's an adult; she's more than capable of getting laid. But Logan's fury that it was ok for Knox to treat all the other women like they were disposable, but not okay to treat Madison like that, really pisses me off. All of those women were somebody's sister, or daughter, or friend, or ex, or cousin, or whatever. But Knox and Logan should only concern themselves with the feeling of the women their group of five is related to. All the other women in the world don't matter.

I hate this so much. It's one of the reasons the best friend/big brother trope is one of my least favorite. "Every woman on earth is worth being treated like garbage except the ones related to me and my friends" is not ok. And from what I can tell, no one has ever had anything to say to Knox about is treatment of women before he got involved with Madison. Suddenly it's an issue.

These guys use their blog and their podcast to air all their grievances, which is fine. It's what blogs and podcasts are for. But they don't filter themselves at all. Their secrets that aren't theirs, dirty laundry they have no right to air, and don't care at all. This is the second book in the series I've read, and the second time the main character in question has done it, so I have to assume it's a habit. And it's awful. Griff in the first book talking on air about Chloe being a virgin and how it was such a big deal for him. And now here Logan telling everyone about how Brooke is a weight dragging him down with all of her unreasonable "don't leave for months at a time when you don't have to" requests.

I'm not necessarily done with Christi Barth. She's a good writer, and I'd be willing to try a different series. But I'm definitely done with this series.

I have been enjoying the journeys of the Naked Men. This is the third, and it continues to hold my attention. Brooke has been struggling with a traumatic event and hiding from life. With a push from her family, she takes a trip and finds more than a respite. Logan is always on the move but is trying to return home to meet the sister he never knew he had. Hurricane Danielle brings this pair of friends back together and helps them heal. Misunderstanding, miscommunication, and secrecy make this a bumpy road for both, and as they came to understand themselves as well as each other, I had tears in my eyes. I recommend this book and the series.

I received a copy of this story through Netgalley, and this is my unsolicited review.

This was such a glorious installment to this series. Logan Marsh has been away for the first two books in this series but he makes such a spectacular introduction to us. He delivers disaster relief in the most remote locations in the world and after finding out he has a half sister he was unaware of he starts home only to get stranded in the Caribbean. Striding across the airport he see a blast from his past, Brooke Gallagher. He crushed on her in high school and little did he know she crushed on him. A mutual agreement to have an island fling is turned upside down when they meet up in D.C. What will happen when they are both in the same town together?

This book can be read as a standalone but really WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO? This is a great series that just keeps getting better. I can hardly wait for Riley and Josh to see how they fall.

This is the third book in the Naked Men series, however, this can be read on a stand alone basis.

Logan has been the mystery guy of the ACS as he has been away saving the world and I was expecting a much darker and much broodier character, however, while he has some issues, he was pretty humorous and a lot brighter than I was expecting.

This was ultimately a cute feel good romance with likeable characters who have great chemistry. The ACS guys really flesh these stories out and their banter and deeps seated friendship really bring a warmth to the stories.

Overall, I enjoyed this story. It was a light and easy friends to lovers story - 3.5 stars

Giving It All is the third book in the Naked Men series by Christi Barth. Best friends since their schooldays these men survived a tragedy as teenagers and will do anything for each other. This installment features Logan Marsh, the hero of the group. He saved his friends all those years ago and now works for his father's foundation rescuing people from disaster zones.

If you've been following the series (and I urge you to go back and read the others in sequence if you haven't!) Logan has just discovered that he has a half sister that he knew nothing about. Rushing back to meet her from his latest mission he finds himself stranded in a Caribbean airport unable to get a flight home due to an impending hurricane. On his way to try and find a hotel for the night he runs into red-head Brooke.

Brooke Gallagher is a home economics teacher and cheerleading coach, or she was until tragedy struck at her school. On a short break to get her head together the last person she expects to see is her old friend Logan. The hunky soccer player she crushed on through high school but always ended up just friends. She is excited to discover that their old chemistry is still there and that Logan is as nice as she remembered.

Logan's hero complex threatens to get in the way of their newly rediscovered friendship. Can Brooke show him what he hasn't realised that he needs?

Giving It All is the third book in the Naked Men series by Christi Barth. The Naked Men are a group of five men, who have been best friends since they were on their high school soccer team together, and now write The Naked Men Blog. In the blog, anything goes, as that it is each man throwing out naked emotion and reaction to whatever the top is. Not long before this, the guys start a satellite radio podcast that blows up with several million listeners. The hero of Giving It All, Logan Marsh, has been out of the country since before the podcast started, somewhere about six months. He works for the foundation his family runs, going to places of lesser known disasters, such as mudslides, earthquakes, hurricanes and so forth. We meet up with him when he's stuck on Dominica due to a smaller hurricane, as he's rushing home to meet his sister that his dad had concealed her whole life.

Logan runs into one of his best friends from high school, Brooke Gallagher, while at the air port. She has come to Dominica to try to reset her brain, as that she has been living in a funk of numbness since a tragedy happened at the school she works at, and she and Logan attended as teens. She has a suite reserved at a resort an hour away from the air port, so she asks Logan if he wants to go there with her, since even if they have no open rooms, they could get a cot to put in her room. They decide to go on a hike to a waterfall once they get settled at the resort, where the romance begins. They agree to have a one night stand, a fling with no strings. They haven't seen each other in the ten years since graduation, so why should they think they'll meet up again any time soon? Except finally going all the way kick starts a need in both Logan and Brooke that has them almost immediately breaking the rules they set for themselves.

As the book continues, it explores how their relationship takes on a life of its own, with their sweet, teenaged "secret crushes" exploding into full blown adult attraction. Of course they have missteps and cause more problems from overthinking than you'd think humanly possible. I think I would classify the romance as sweet, even though their attraction and need for each other is closer to the range of supernova. They definitely keep their romantic relationship separate from their sexual relationship. Logan doesn't normally date since he never knows when he'll be pulled from the civilized world to help with a new disaster, so he's not so great at overtly romantic gestures. That combined with Brooke never having had a boyfriend that put her first, makes it so she is able to recognize Logan's instinctual romantic gestures, which is a good thing since they are sometimes very small or hard to even notice.

Giving It All is a contemporary romance, and though it's part of a series, it can easily be read alone. I would recommend it to any fans of the genre that don't mind extra spicy scenes. There are some very fun parts to this book, but also it hits on some very heartrenching subjects. (If suicide is a trigger, you might want to skip this book.) The ratio of fun, sex, and angst works out pretty well. My biggest complaint would be that passages of time aren't really marked, so where days have passed between scenes, it takes several paragraphs, if not a page or two, before that jump becomes obvious. That could have been tightened up edits, as that my copy was an unfinished version, but I doubt all of it could have been removed. Definitely not enough of an annoyance to not still think this is a great book!!

A page turning hot romance that starts out with "friends with benefits" but develops into so much more. Plenty of twists and turns that will keep you wanting more. Luke and Brooke were friends in high school, but both wanted more unbeknownst to each other now with a chance encounter will it lead to forever.

This is a great series but can be read as a stand alone, I will now be going back to read the first two books in the series and looking forward to the next book.

I have read all 3 books in the “Naked Men” series and Mrs. Barth did not disappoint. Logan and Brooke were friends in High School before they bumped into each other at the airport during a Hurricane in Dulles. Logan was on his way back from Kazakhstan from a disaster relief assignment he had been on for his family foundation. He was on his way back to the states because he got a phone call from his best friend Knox saying that he (Logan) had a sister and not only that Knox was dating her.
In high school Logan and his four best friends in high school shared a traumatic experience together. His friends got in a car wreck in the Italian Alps and were stranded and almost died . Logan was not with his friends because when the bus left that morning he was nowhere to be found because he had met a girl the previous night. When Logan figured out his friends had been in a very bad accident he would not giveup and believe they were dead. So he looked for them for the three days. After the Americans gave up looking the Italians helped Logan save his friends. After the rescue all five of them were called “ACS”, translated it means the American Soccer Survivor.
Logan and Brooke were both shocked to see each other after 10 years. Brooke offered Logan to go with her to her Hotel for him to ride out the storm. Once they checked in they went exploring the Island before the Hurricane hit. Things got a little intimate while they were away from the hotel. After an intense kiss the weather forced them back to reality and to the hotel. Logan and Brooke made plans for dinner. During dinner Brooke got very upset while they were talking and left. Logan stayed and finished dinner because he thought it would be best to give her space to work through whatever personal problem she was battling. Hours later he decided to go to her room to check on her and try and be there for her because during their short few hours together Brooke had listened to his family problem being his new sister. Brooke didn’t want to talk to Logan she wanted to forget. She told Logan that if he slept with her that would help her. They decided to have an island fling while they were there because not only was Logan there for a few days once they both got back to Washington, Brooke was moving to South Carolina. They also admitted to each other that during High School they both had crushes on one another. Not hours after they slept together Logan got a phone call saying the hurricane had pasted and he could fly out in 2 hours. Brooke told him it was fine and she really meant it.
Once Logan was back in the States he decided to handle the new situation with his best friend Knox dating his surprise sister. He found out his friends were doing a podcast called Naked Men. He went to the studio while they were “On Air” and got all in Knox’s face. He said very ugly things and Knox while still streaming live punched him in the face for talking bad about Madison. Knox informed he yes he was dating Logans sister but he was also in love with her. Logan left the studio and as he went back to his house which he lived in with the ACS he saw Brooke. Brooke left the Island the same day as Logan because she felt like she had faced all her Demons and didn’t need the two week vacation. Once Brooke saw Logan and his blackeye she told him he couldn’t go to his place since Knox lived there. So she told him to come to her apartment.
Logan and Brooke had planned to only be a one time thing on the Island. However, now that they were back in the states and keep running into each other they start a relationship and don’t even realize it. They both have issues and they keep confiding in each other about them.

This is a very sweet and sexy story about to best friends dating after 10 years of being apart. Logan is super sweet and he really cares about Brooke during a time when she needs someone to have her back. This is a dual POV and it doesn’t drag.

3 1/2 stars. I was looking forward to reading Logan's story and it was good just not as good as I was hoping. It started off great but then just kind of slowed down and didn't pick up till the end. I found Logan a little bit selfish and his reasons for being the way he was didn't quite ring true to me. I did love the couples second chance at love.

Logan has been dragged back to civilization before his mission to rebuild a fallen village due to many things. The main reason: a sister he never knew about is sleeping with his best friend who is a known player with no repeats. Luckily on the way back, he runs into his high school crush and they have an amazing night. With so much on his mind and hands, Brooke is a welcome distraction as is Logan to her. However, can they keep feelings and emotions out of it?

As this is book 3, I knew this is the turning point in the series as it brings home the "lost brother" and reconnects so many characters. I have enjoyed the series so far but not so much as I love it and can get lost in it. Luckily, Logan was not such a womanizer as the first two guys which was refreshing. I think it was due to the fact that his father had lied to him about his sister, trying to get himself under control when he finally meets said sister, and trying to see that his best friend has changed.

Brooke was a great match for Logan as she has a nurturing soul where Logan is a fixer. He is strong where Brooke is soft, she knows she will definitely be heartbroken as Logan has this need to help others instead of paying someone else to do it. He is gone most of the year so how can love keep him in one place? I was really rooting for them throughout the book and was surprised by the events that took place.

I am excited for the next book as I have become invested in these men and what they stand for- friendship, helping others, loyalty, courage, honor, etc.

this is the third book in the series, all the books can be read as stand alone reads or as part of the series. I found it hard to put this book down, I just wanted to keep reading. This is one sexy story. This is a page turner of a book with fantastic characters. I cant wait to read more from this author in the future.

Giving It All is a sweet, sexy friends to lovers story. Logan is a traveler, a giver. He works for his family's foundation, which gives aid to smaller disasters that normally don't receive international aid. He's always on site, literally working in the trenches, and isn't at home often. He finds out that he has a half sister that he didn't previously know existed, so for once, he's on his way home to DC to meet her. But, he gets stuck in the Caribbean on the island of Dominica, where he runs into an old friend from high school, Brooke Gallagher. They had been pretty good, platonic friends, during high school but hadn't seen each other in years. Their attraction is instant, and strong, and before long, they agree on an island fling, knowing they'll never see each other again.

But, of course, fate has something else in mind and they see each other in DC and fall into their old easy, comfortable friendship again, except with benefits. Both are falling for each other, but don't have the guts to say it to each other. Brooke can't say it because she knows Logan always has one foot out the door just waiting for the next international disaster to flare up before he's gone. Logan can't say it because he's absolutely afraid of getting stuck in one place with one person because there is a whole world out there who might need him more.

Brooke and Logan's chemistry is solid, both emotionally and physically and seeing them navigate their changing relationship is entertaining. Barth's writing is well paced with an entire cast of likable, real characters. I've got to read the entire series now that I've met them all.

Logan's book!

Ms. Barth has been driving me crazy with the idea of Logan--we've only seen him so far in the books either in flashbacks to their Italy adventure (which, as he was the one who didn't make the bus that day, he was barely in either, until the one in this book), conversations about him, or in a small handful of sat phone calls in book two ( Wanting It All ). I've been more than ready to finally get to see him in person!

In a lot of ways, Logan's book does not disappoint. It was awesome seeing all of the ACSs together again at last--finally!--and about time Logan joined in on both their soccer games and the radio podcast. Logan and Brooke together are a great couple--(high school) friends-to-lovers--and it was clear to everyone but them for about 85% of the book (okay, maybe 75% for Brooke, 95% for Logan--that average works out, yes?) that they should be together. But...there's issues. Of course.

I think it's pretty clear from the beginning that Logan's been carrying some heavy-duty baggage from the accident/rescue in the Alps days, and it's still driving him in the present. Early in the book he pooh-poohs the idea that he's suffering from PTSD or similar, but I think he really is--and worry that the "realizations" he comes to toward the end of the book are too quick and not built on a solid enough foundation. Yes, he gets to where readers and his fellow characters want him to be, but it doesn't quite seem like he's done enough to really get there on his own.

But, hey--it's fiction. It could work. And really, I do like both Logan and Brooke and enjoyed their story on the whole, easy resolution aside. It's always fun to see one of my favorite cities from the viewpoint of a group of locals, and imagining those ACS soccer games makes for some nice mental eye candy moments.

Two more "Naked Men" to go!

This series has been an interesting ride for me so far. The first book was good but the second book was not a hit for me, so I was both a little wary and hopeful for the third installment. I am happy to say that Giving It All is easily my favorite book of the series so far, and Logan and Brooke’s friends to lovers romance was a great read!

For those of you who haven’t read the other books, let me set the stage a bit. Five friends survived a near-tragedy in high school that bonded them for life. Now as adults they remain inseparable and enjoy sharing their unfiltered thoughts on a popular blog called the Naked Men. Each book in the series features one of the five guys, and Giving It All features the globetrotting perpetual wanderer Logan Marsh.

Logan was the one who led the rescue efforts to find his four friends all those years ago, and in doing so, he found his calling. He now travels the world to disaster sites lending a helping hand cleaning up, rebuilding and restoring hope, but his work takes a toll on him. After spending weeks in some of the most remote parts of the world that lack even the most basic of amenities, he needs to take time for himself to recharge his batteries and shelve the images of the horrors he just witnessed so he is away from home more often than not.

A phone call from his best friend dropping two bombshells on him finds Logan making the unprecedented move of leaving a rescue site early. He is hopscotching from country to country across the planet in attempt to reach home as quickly as possible, but a hurricane derails his trip in the middle of a stop in the Caribbean. Resigning himself to a longer than planned stay until the airlines resume service, Logan can’t believe his eyes when he spots a familiar face across the airport on his way to find a hotel room. Things are suddenly looking up!

Brooke was his closest female friend in high school and could also be categorized as the one who got away if he actually had any inclination toward a relationship at the time. They had an easy friendship that withstood the usual high school trials and tribulations but they drifted apart after graduation. Now she finds herself on a tropical island on a forced getaway courtesy of her parents in the hopes she can find a way to move on from a tragic event in her recent past. Nothing seems to be able to shake her out of her funk, but the sight of Logan is a most welcome distraction to say the least.

They fall right back into the easy camaraderie they always had but this time the added layer of attraction is at the forefront and begging for attention! Neither wanted to admit or act on it in their younger years, but there is nothing to stop them now. They have a whole lot of time to pass courtesy of the weather that says there’s no time like the present to have a little fun too. Their chemistry and connection was readily apparent and jumped off the pages in a way that just sucked me into their little bubble. The outside world and its concerns intrude at times, but Brooke’s pragmatic way of viewing things along with Logan’s often unexpectedly sensitive take on situations through the lens of a guy’s perspective went a long way with the other to settle their mind.

Logan is upfront about his inability to commit to a long term relationship due to the demands of his job and they agree to enjoy themselves for as long as possible, but the return to their home in Washington D.C. brings a whole host of challenges. For the first time, two of the Naked Men are at odds with each other in a way that is not easily resolved. Logan has no idea what to do with the reality of a younger sister, much less one who is suddenly engaged to his best friend, and then Logan’s father presents him with an ultimatum that does not go over well with his son. Given that Logan’s trip home was precipitated by his dad’s decades-old secret that shook his faith and love in the man that raised him, Logan is less than inclined to cave to his demands. He finds himself incredibly unsettled about his homecoming when should be enjoying being back where he belongs. The only person who can right his world is Brooke when they are together, and that scares the ever loving heck out of the man who sees saving others as his duty.

Brooke is facing her own dilemma as she searches for a new career path that either means moving away from DC or finding a completely new way forward that she has never considered before. Logan is her steady constant through it and despite his protestations that he can’t commit to a long term relationship, he has serious romantic game when it comes to Brooke that had my heart melting right along with hers. His self-admitted preferred method of “ostriching” to avoid dealing with his problems isn’t helping anyone, and he is only fooling himself by denying his growing feelings for Brooke. To his surprise, his newly discovered sister Madison is the one to help him see the light and his way to a future that he can live with. Now he just has to convince Brooke to give him a chance.

I really enjoyed Logan and Brooke, and their relationship was the most real and relatable to me out of the 3 stories so far. Madison’s time in the story wasn’t overwhelming so if you haven’t read the previous book (or books), there is no need to worry about feeling lost. Giving It All could actually be a great book to use a stepping stone into the series if you are a Naked Men newbie. Logan has been out of the country since the series started, and the guys have to bring him up to speed on everything he has missed in the months he has been away. Now there are two men left standing as bachelors- I wonder which one will be next to go down like a domino?

Loving this series by Christi Barth! Giving It All was Logan's story - and what a story it was! You get to see Logan fall for his good (platonic only) friend from high school, Brooke. She was so conflicted about recent events that she stopped living her life, and it was great to see Logan coming out of his self-imposed bachelorhood to help, all the while helping himself in the process. Keep the Naked Men coming! I cannot wait to see who's next!
