Coulter never fails to deliver a non-stop thriller. This one is loaded with very imaginative science, blood thirsty villians, adrenaline pumping action, and a very explosive ending.
FBI Special Agents Nicholas Drummond and Michaela Caine work a Covert division that deals with international crimes. Nicholas and Mike often team up with FBI agents Sherlock and Savich.

The plot is intriguing and the characters are well fleshed out and very convincing and that is just the main story line. The secondary story line adds to the main story and enhances the evil twins motivation.
I couldn't stop once I started.

The Covert Eyes team does a great job here. Special Agents Nicholas Drummond and Michaela Caine come into some very tight situations in this book. The Fox has contacted them for help. Her husband has been kidnapped by the people she has just stolen an artifact for and they are wanting to not complete their end of the transaction. There is much more here than meets the eye. What has caused the Gobi sandstorm that hits Beijing? Who is responsible? The twins are ready to attack Washington DC to distract Mike & Nicholas. Can their grandfather control them.? Lotrs going on and keeps everyone busy trying to keep up. Be sure to read.

I did not complete reading this book. I had a hard time getting into the story, possibly because I had not tead any of the other books in the series. I have enjoyed many of Catherine Coulter's books, both stand alone & the Savich and Sherlock FBI series and am sure this book is just as good as all of those if you have all the background information.

I have been a fan of Catherine Coulter's for years and have read all of her books. And I have been a fan of JT Ellison's since book 1 of her Taylor Jackson series. I am usually not a huge fan of collaborations between authors like this but when Catherine chose JT to write this Brit in the FBI series I could NOT have been happier! Catherine takes her Savich and Sherlock characters and creates some more unique characters and JT adds in the special thrilling twists into this series. I love the relationship between Mike and Nicholas but I absolutely ADORE Kitsune!! Kitsune is my favorite literary character in a book series right now. I hope that they continue the Brit in the FBI series and look forward to more of these books. The storyline was very exciting and I just could not turn the pages fast enough to see what was going to happen next. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK

I received this from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Drummond and Caine are so exciting to about. This case takes them to Venice and it packs a punch. I was totally invested in this story the whole time. Interesting characters and unbelievable scenes. Unputdownable!

I have really liked the Brit in the FBI series and I'm a little disappointed in this one. Almost immediately into the story I remember thinking - great, another supernatural story. This partially resolved itself, but I still wasn't prepared to suspend my disbelief. The plot was interesting, but became too convoluted. The characters seemed flat to me. There were a few times in this book where the characters have this witty back-and-forth banter, but doesn't come across as witty, but really annoying. I'd starting noticing this in the Sherlock and Savich series, but it seemed as though it was getting better. It seems not.

I like both Catherine Coulter and J.T. Ellison, so I'm surprised by the lackluster feel I have for this book overall.

The Devil's Triangle ventures into both the techno and sci-fi zones. The plot requires that you step into the edge of the twilight zone. Also, this is the type of thriller where we have bullets flying all over the place, and superhero cops who manage to outrun them all, or zigzag through them without getting hit. This would all be workable, had the plot kept me riveted and had the characters compelled me to take that leap along with them. Unfortunately, the story as a whole just didn't come together for me.

My main issues with the book are all tied up with the characters. First, we have a lot of them, and we jump in and out of their heads with no clear reasoning. Too many viewpoint characters make it difficult to connect, turning this into a needlessly rambling saga. The book is quite long, at 512 pages, and despite the many action scenes, I felt every one of those 512 pages.

The only character I connected with an liked was Kitsune, who is consistently and irritatingly referred to as "the thief" by every other character. The twins are ridiculous caricatures of completely evil psychopaths, who have somehow managed to also remain high-functioning, respected members of society. The cops lack personality, with one easily being interchangeable with another. And the dialogue feels forced and unnatural.

If you enjoy plot-driven stories of international intrigue, then you might love this book. I wasn't enthralled, but I can certainly see how some readers would love it.

FBI agents Drummond and Caine, head of Covert Eyes, have been called by the Fox, an international thief for help. They have had dealings with the Fox before. She was hired by clients to steal a biblical artifact. When she shows up to get her final payment and turn the object over to them they double cross her. Her clients attempt to murder her but she manages to escape. Before her escape she overheard information that she thinks Drummond and Caine need to know. She also needs their help because her clients have kidnapped her husband in an effort to force her to surface so they can kill her. When the identity of Foxs clients is revealed they discover they are dealing with a set of crazy as loons twins with sociopathic tendencies.

This is a fast paced book with non stop action. It ties events from ancient times to the present in a very imaginative way. Coulter and Ellison make a very good writing team. Can't wait for the next book in the series. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy of this book.

Love the interaction between the very diverse characters. Great story which raced along to a satisfying conclusion.

Another great read by Catherine Coulter. My only complaint is that I can never put her books down.

Brit in the FBI is a terrific series and this one keeps up the great work. The story never lags. With both old favorite characters and new villains, the book delves deep into the characters psyches. It all comes together in a satisfying conclusion. Anxiously waiting for the next one.

Catherine Coulter has always been an author I would search out at my local library but this book really took me to a place of almost fear. Have you ever read and book and felt like you were inside the book as a character? Go to bed and wake up thinking about the book and the need to get right back into the book again. Well this was one of those books. Always suspenseful and exciting.

The last few days were like a roller coaster ride for me. I hang out with two of the coolest FBI agents, Michaela Caine and Nicholas Drummond. I got to visit some amazing places, Venice and Cuba among them. And best of all, I helped to save the world from the evil Koath twins. Ok, so maybe I didn't actually help. But I was there with Mike and Nicholas every step of the way. The vision of what could happen to the world we know, if too much power fell into the wrong hands, I found thoroughly scary!
The story is captivating and fast-paced. The characters are so real, I actually find myself missing them every time I finish reading another Brit in the FBI book .
All in all,"The Devil's Triangle" is a fantastic novel, whether you read any of the previous books in the series or not. I cannot recommend it enough!

When Nicholas and Mike get involved, they learn that nothing is as it seems. From a family obsessed with finding the Ark of the Covenant to the invention of a machine that controls the weather, Nicholas, Mike and the rest of their team try to piece it all together and prevent worldwide chaos.

This is one of my favorite series, and I was very excited to read this book. Almost from the first page, it was easy to figure out who the bad guys were and why they were doing the things they did. Watching the good guys figure it out, and following them as they track and try to stop the bad guys sucked me in, and it was so hard to put down that I read the entire book in less than a day! I can't wait to read the next book in this series :)

Da Vinci, Tesla, Venice, Turkey, London, Cuba, the FBI, The Knights Templar, Etruscans, the Bermuda Triangle, archaeology, and the Ark of the Covenant. Peaked your interest? Good. This book is a rip roaring good time.

Catherine is an magnificent author and never ceases to disappoint. I couldn't put this fast paced suspenseful story down. I was drawn in from the very first page and kept enthralled until the last.

Another fun Brit in the FBI adventure. I enjoyed the action of Nicholas & the team traveling to Italy and helping Kitsune. The weather/storm machine was a bit hard to swallow as was the Ark of the Covenant & Koath family. I let go of my skepticism and just enjoyed the ride. This was a very enjoyable book.
