Though this is the fifth book in the Frieda Klein series, it is my first introduction to it. There were times where I felt knowledge of the previous storylines would be helpful but it could also easily be read as a stand alone novel. In this story, Frieda goes on the run after her ex-lover turns up dead, I highly enjoyed this mystery and will likely read the previous titles in the series.
