This is a wonderfully and well-written story, but I had a lot of trouble getting through it. The story never really pulled me in, and I finally had to put it down without finishing it.

This was entertaining, but not exceptional. Definitely YA or pre-teen fiction. It seemed to be geared towards young boys as well and I'm not sure there is a huge market for mermaid fiction in that group.

I just couldn’t get into the writing style…Blurb sounded great, read for around 30% and it just dragged a bit to get into the story and by this time I had lost interest and skim read most of the book. Really couldn’t tell you what happened…The cover is just beautiful though!
