An interesting examination and defence of the Obama presidency - taking, in particular criticisms from the left as a jumping off point. Well-written, well-presented and argued, it's quite convincing. It's not perfect, but it'll certainly be a good place to start if you're thinking about reexamining the Obama presidency. (I would highly recommend Obama's memoir, too - it's brilliant and not as self-congratulatory as many conservatives have suggested since its publication.)
In an easy to read and very specifically sectioned book, the author talks about what Obama achieved and managed to make during this time as the USA president.
It's one of the easiest to read biographies I have read in a long time and as such defiantly recommend for everyone that doesn't normally gravitate towards nonfiction!
If you want to learn more about Obama, his time in office or in general what his name stands for, this is a great read for that!
I enjoyed reading this biography as the author showed ways that the Obama administration achieved the campaign promises made
Mr. D'Antonio has done a wonderful job of presenting the presidency of Barack Obama in a revealing yet intimate manner. It takes us through various important parts of things that has become President Obama's legacy. Told in precise, crisp terms, this book is a must have. It presents facts in a concise manner about the first African American man to become President of the United States, his presidency and his character. This book should be in all personal libraries for the jewel that it is. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the advanced reading copy of this book in return for my honest review. Awesome book!!
