I love reading Diane Alberts book! I really enjoyed the book! This a first book in the Hamilton Family Series and it was five stars!
I couldn’t finish this book, I like the author’s writing and have enjoyed many of their books before but this one wasn’t one I could get into. I will try again when the author’s next book is released as I am a fan of theirs.
I really love reading books by Diane Alberts. She has a way of drawing readers into her stories and keeping us there till the dog barks to be let outside or the kids start whining that they need to be fed. Brett had a crappy upbringing, after his parents died, he was "raised" by his aunt and uncle who didn't care about him So Brett spent this time next door at the Hamilton's house and was best friends with the four brothers and Anna, the only girl. Anna always had a crush on Brett but he had made a blood oath to NEVER touch her. Now that he's back for his best friend's wedding, Chris Hamilton, he finds an Anna that he's very attracted to and hard to keep his promise. Due to his reputation as a playboy, none of the Hamilton brothers want him near Anna. This was such a great read, watching Anna and Brett fall for each other as her brother's must learn to either accept it or come up with a plan to bury Brett in their back yard!
Cute read! The blast into the past is a fun story, and reconnecting with a past love makes for a fun read.
Brett Ross has gotten himself in a situation. He has to come home to his best friend’s wedding. Why a situation you ask? Because his best friend’s little sister will be there ... and so the story goes ;) lol
This was a really sweet story. I’ve read a few other books by Diane Alberts and they’ve all been sexy and witty and fun, and this was no exception! Excellent beginning to a series. I think the Hamilton family is going to prove very entertaining in books to come!

This was a first read for me by Diane Alberts.
Brett Ross was left when his parents died in an accident and he was raised by his aunt and uncle. Well, he raised himself under his aunt and uncles roof. Luckily he was friends with the family next door...Now he's back for his best friends wedding...only problem is he has to face his best friends sister, Anna...the girl he's had feelings for since he was young...only he took a blood oath to never touch her.
Anna wants Brett, always has and always will...only this time, she's ready. She's playing to win and she won't give up.
These two have undeniable chemistry and the family as a whole is a complete trip. I think I laughed almost as much as my eyes teared up.
I can't wait to see more of the Hamilton brothers!
4 Stars
I really wanted to like this book, I swear I did. Unfortunately, although the whole “best friend’s little sister” is a trope I enjoy, in The CEO’s Seduction it just didn’t work for me.
My main issue was that by 47% mark, Brett and Anna’s back and forth thing, along with Brett’s hot and cold attitude made them become the epitome of that Katie Perry song. By the time they actually got together I really didn’t care anymore.
Brett and Anna’s older brothers (there are four of them) were best friends. By the time little Anna started catching Brett’s attention he was sworn to keep his hands to himself by her brothers, a promise he kept no matter what. With a difficult childhood, Brett became a hard man who was out of touch with his feelings, with Anna being the only person to make him feel.
Anna was a sweet, upbeat and charming girl who had been in love with the boy next door since the beginning of time. With both of them in her oldest brother’s wedding party, she sees her chance to finally make Brett notice her.
Brett struggled too much with the blood oath he made to Anna’s brothers, but I understood he didn’t want to mess up with her and fall back into his player persona. Regrettably, it took him so long to finally sort himself out and go after her that I lost my interest in the story. Also, Anna’s brothers, who were supposed to be Brett’s friends, kept acting as if he was the bottom of a slime barrel, mistreating him and outright insulting him every chance they got. This I found not only annoying but also unbelievable, and it really made me not like the whole story much.
The CEO’s Seduction had some really sexy scenes and Brett and Anna were, at times, really sweet together. Unfortunately, the whole indecisiveness and the brother’s attitudes kind of ruined it for me. This is not a bad book in any way, but in the end, it just didn’t work for me.
The CEO’s Seduction by Diane Albright was a fast paced and fun friends to lovers romance which I would absolutely recommend checking The CEO’s Seduction out.
Brett and Anna have been buddies since their childhood. She understood him in a way that no one else ever totally did and it bonded them. However, the moment that Brett spoke out loud about his feelings for Anna, her older brothers quickly and a bit violently put a stop to any ideas he might be having.
Flash forward several years and they’re all home for a wedding. From the moment Brett arrives at the Hamilton’s, you feel the sexual chemistry and untapped lust they share. It is simmering between these two whatever they’re in the same room. They can’t help but flirt and entice one another. To try and void all that is between them would be like trying to stop tomorrow from arriving. It’s just going to happen,
But the same rules apply and Anna’s brothers still think Brett isn’t good enough for Anna – even though he’s one of their closest friends. It creates a taboo relationship that both Brett and Anna desperately want to be a part of. When they finally give in to their feelings, the pages become filled with secret moments of passion and stolen kisses. It’s exciting as well as infuriating. (Their miscommunication with each other was insane!!)
Their emotional journey was a little predictable but I liked this couple and for the most part I enjoyed their relationship. I wanted to slap them silly a couple of times for not listening to one another but I think it’s a testament to the author’s writing ability that she could inspire such passionate feelings in me as a reader – I was definitely rooting this duo on.
So if you’re looking for a funny book filled with over protective brothers, hella erotic scenes and an relationship destined to happen, The CEO’s Seduction will be the perfect read for you!
Anna have always been in love with Brett but her overprotective brothers are in the way. So when he comes home for his best friend's (her brother)wedding she finds it hard to fight her feelings. Brett have always had feelings for Anna but he promised her brothers he would stay away. As they spend time together it becomes had for them to fight their attraction. When their relationship is revealed they both have to face the consequences and trust in their love for each other. Recommended read.
The first book in Diane Alberts's new series is making me wonder if I should read the next books. I believe that Anna is the only sane person here. Her brothers are very over protective and they are immature. I didn't like the way they treated Brett. They beat him up because he touched their sister. I have seen in many books the brothers of the heroine threatening to beat the hero, but in this case it actually happened! WTF? I liked the rest of the story, but Anna's brothers ruined the story. I liked that Anna wanted to make Brett smile and the secretive tone their relationship had. They had a good chemistry. Even if it weren't for Anna's brothers, I wouldn't have given the book 5 stars because I felt like the book needed something more to get there, so my normal rating would have been 4 stars. I do recommend the book, but I must warn you for Anna's brothers. They are acting like kids when it comes to handling the fact that their sister is doing it with Brett. I keep remembering that one of them will be the hero for the next novel and the rest of them will follow.
