I'm a member of the London Fortean society so I thought this title would be right up my alley. Unfortunately, it fell a bit flat for me. The novel was slightly Holmes-esque but lacked the cohesion of them. Instead of the investigations coming together to form a cohesive whole, it felt like a list of separate incidences which failed to draw me in as a reader. I must admit that I didn't finish the book. It simply didn't capture my attention.
