Couldn't get into this at all, found both characters objectionable.

Hooked on Trouble is the first book that I have ever read from Kelly Siskind, but it definitely won't be my last. I really enjoyed this one and it is always such a great surprise to discover a new author. Though I am new to Kelly Siskind, this is actually the third book in her Over the Top series. I didn't have any problems understanding anything though as this is easily read as a standalone, and I am really excited to go back and read the previous books in the series.

Raven and Nico spent a hot night together, but then he disappeared and Raven didn't hear from him again. With her guard back up, Raven is determined to focus on finding her sister rather than guys or relationships. But Nico hasn't stopped thinking about Raven, and he knows that the best way to show her that he wants her is to help her find her sister. But can he risk everything including his job for a chance at a future with her?

I loved how deep and layered these characters were. Raven was determined and strong, yet she also had a vulnerability to her as well that I found so easy to relate to. Nico was sexy and loyal and I really loved him. They had great chemistry and a strong connection.

Overall, this was a great story. Each of these characters made mistakes and were frustrating at times, but I was invested right away and knew that they belonged together. They was an intensity to them that made this a captivating and emotional read. I highly recommend this one and I can't wait to go back and read the previous books. I might have been new to Kelly Siskind's books before Hooked on Trouble, but based on this book she is an author that I would recommend checking out.

Wow!! This was such a great read!! Hooked on Trouble is the 3rd book in the Over the Top series but can be read as a stand alone. I will be reading the other 2 books ASAP.

Nico & Raven- can I just say HOT! Their chemistry leaps off the page. Their story is one filled with drama but there is a HEA so all is good.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I can't say that I have read this author nor did I know that this was part of a series when I accepted the invitation from the publisher. I am soooo glad I did. The writing sucked you in. It was as if the book came to life. The storytelling very vivid and the characters palpable and alive. I could feel the characters angst, lust, disappointment, loss and love. It was easy to fall in love with Nico & Raven's story. Their friends {for me} were an added bonus.

Not having read the first two booksin the series I didn't feel lost in the storyline or with the characters banter. Kelly Siskind did a wonderful job keeping me engaged in the story a eager to finish. That's a job well done.

Kelly Siskind is one of my favorite "new-to-me" authors from 2016. My love affair with her books started when I began reading Chasing Crazy on a plane. (Which, if you've read this book, you understand why I feel the need to mention the plane...) I laughed so hard I cried and then I swooned and melted all over the place as the book went on. It only took that one book for me to be totally hooked on Kelly's writing. Since then, I've promptly devoured each book she's released and I've loved each of them in their own way. Her Over the Top series is a wonderful, fresh NA series with characters its easy to fall for and romance and friendships that are so real it almost hurts. (But in a good way.) Because of the way the story built throughout the Over the Top series, I was DYING to get my hands on Nico and Raven's story. I had to know what went down between them and why she was so against all things Nico, when he seemed pretty damn swoony from where I sat. I wasn't wrong.

Everything about Hooked on Trouble was perfect to me. I loved learning more about these characters I'd seen in two previous books. It was wonderful to get to spend time in both of their heads, as this book is told from both POV. (One of my favorite things in books, especially when it's done well like it was here.) Raven and Nico's story was more than I could've hoped for — not only was it sexy as hell because oh my gods the chemistry, but it also gave me a fair few feels along the way. Also feel-inducing? Getting to catch up with Shay, Sawyer, Kolton and Lily. I just love them all so darn much! This was a brilliant ending to a series I loved from the very start and figure I'll reread a few times in the future, too.

I received a copy of this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

My "just right" isn't average. It's thick and long and hard. It's Thor's hammer big. It's attached to a tower of tattooed muscle, one I vowed never to acknowledge again.

"If you want me, tell me something real."

"There is darkness in all of us, but there is light, too. Yours still shines, Raven. How brightly is up to you."

I'm hungry for her. Starving. Like nothing I've ever felt.

My lips are nowhere near his, but his touch is like the first snowfall and running through puddles and falling into leaves.

Raven and her friends Shay and Lily were at a nude beach. Raven is looking for her sister Rose.Raven hasn’t seen Rose since she was nine years old.Raven felt if it wasn’t for her Rose would have never left. When raven was turning nine she had earned some money and bought a black shirt and taken her mother’s dragonfly pin to wear on her birthday thinking it would make the shirt. Raven hadn’t known her father had planned to pawn it that day and he blamed rose he almost beat Rose to death with Rose screaming she hadn’t taken it. Raven sat by knowing she had taken the pin and let Rose be beat for it. Rose left the next day. . Raven has moved to Vancouver to be with her friends but she also had a tip rose may be there.Over a year ago raven had waken up next to Nico in Aspen and then nothing but she knew she would be seeing him as her best friends boyfriends were Nico’s best friends. The girls wanted to try to start an events business with Lily’s attention on design, Shay’s interior design skills could transform space, and raven could use her photography to document an event. Nico was a cop. When in Aspen raven had opened up to Nico Raven had told Nico things she had never shared with another person not even Shay or Lily. But then Nico never got a hold of Raven after that night. Oddly enough it still hurt Raven. Nico had been hoping for a chance meeting with Raven as she had been in Vancouver a month now. Then she was at the police station he worked out of as her wallet had been taken with her ID credit cards and money. Nico passed her off to another cop to work with her on the theft. Nico had been fantasizing about raven for sixteen months and had not been with another women since the night in Aspen with Raven. Raven was the only girl Nico wanted to date but he had hurt hr and he knew that. Nico’s brother got arrested for stealing a car that was loaded down with meth. He was innocent and was set up but Nico had yet to get a confession he needed to prove it. Raven had kept men at arms length she hadn’t even realized she was lonely until she was with Nico after that one night Raven had learned what she was missing.and then Nico let Raven know he had been with anyone since the night with her which had been sixteen months ago. Every since Raven’s seventeenth birthday Lily bought raven gifts . for on that birthday Lily had asked raven’s father what they were going to do to celebrate Raven’s birthday he had said celebrate what that she drained our account. Raven.s dad was angry as Raven had used the money he wanted to gamble with to buy some vegetables. Raven told Nico Lily had bought her camera for her. Raven loved shooting street life and color. Nico tells Raven he will help her look for Rose. Raven decides to at least try one date with Nico. Raven also had the idea of a photographic essay on street life. She had gotten a job as a goofer with a great photographer and was learning a lot. Her grandmother came to Raven one night and showed her she cared and Raven started to turn her life around. But her grandmother had been on the streets and this added to Raven's desire to do that essay. Nico said he wanted to help her with that also as his brother had been on the streets for awhile. Raven was drawn to the street people as well as their stories. Raven tells Nico about the stories behind all her tattoos but one and that is the dragonfly with the red eyes on her ribs. She wasn’t ready yet and Nico respected that and would wait. Then she finally told Nico about the pin and what happened after that . Nico gave Raven an address where Rose may be. Eventually raven finds Rose at a local shelter and lets her move into her apartment not listening to Nico when he told her to go slow and it blows up in her face and she lost Nico.
I loved this story. I loved the connection that would not be broken between Nico and Raven and how they both realize how special that is. I love how Nico is there for raven and she is there for him. I love how Nico’s family welcomed Raven in and she tried to help Nico’s family when she could. I felt horrible how Rose used and hurt Raven. So yes i felt like I was there my attention never drew away from the story. The plot was great as was the writing. What can I say I loved this story another new favorite now. I absolutely loved the characters and the ins and outs of this story and I highly recommend.

This is Book 3 in the "Over the Top" Series and finally Nico and raven have their own story.

Since the first Book I loved this series. When I met the characters in the first book, I laughed out loud and I loved the story of these three friends who meet these three girls skiing in Aspen.

I think Nico and Raven's story is the most emotional out of the three because they both have family issues and they have issues with their family's pasts.

The book is emotional, sweet, fun and everything I look forward when I read a book! Highly recommended!

I am sad this series is over!

Hooked on Trouble is the third and final book in Kelly’s series, Over the Top. And it’s one I have been dying to read.

“To show someone rise, you have to show them fall.”

This is Nico and Raven’s story. And let me tell you, it’s one hell of an emotional ride. Raven has always kept her heart locked up. She doesn’t do feelings and has always been one to put her feelings in little compartments and lock them away forever. Until Nico. Until that one night she gives him a glimpse of who she is. And he destroys her.

Nico sees himself as the only solid foundation for his family. He’s been trying to help his brother from ending up in prison like their father and keeping his sister on the straight and narrow and away from drugs. It’s a lot for one person to handle, but he does it because he feels it’s his duty. But only a few know of his family’s issues – he doesn’t open up about that part of his life much. And when he meets Raven, he keeps that part under lock and key. A heartbreaking mistake.

Nico and Raven realize they need to handle their problems or risk causing friction and possibly losing friends over their issues. But what they can’t deny is their attraction to one another – something that has not diminished since their last and only night together.

Nico is a huge mushy marshmallow. He may a very strong cop on the outside, but inside, he’s all feelings and mush. And he’ll do anything and everything to protect those he loves. Raven is the complete opposite. Even though they’ve had very similar upbringings, they made different decisions and that’s cause Raven is be more hard and rigid. But something in Nico brings out the soft side of her.

“Our past choices shape us, but our future ones define us.”

I love Nico and Raven’s story. It’s not all butterflies and rainbows. There are some dark tales that work their way into their lives. And it causes them both to re-evaluate things and their relationship.

Kelly has written another amazing story and I am so glad that we finally got Nico and Raven’s story. I knew it wasn’t going to be a fluffy romance but I loved how she mixed the hard edges with some soft edges – made the story even better. And I love reading about Shay and Kolton along with Lily and Sawyer. I hate to see them end but all their stories were beautiful and I loved each journey.

I look forward to reading more from Kelly in the future.

This is my second read by Kelly and I enjoyed it quite a lot! It was hot, full of heart and heartbreak, and had everything else in between. It kept me laughing hard at times, and tearing up at others. Kelly showed us two struggling characters whose situations felt as real as the words in this post. This follows Raven and Nico who had a one night stand about a year ago and we get to see their reunion.
Raven is not your usual main character which was a massive plus for me. She sort of pissed me off at times but I also grew to admire her overall. Her point of view had me with a bad feeling in my stomach almost from cover to cover. I was a bit scared to continue reading in case I was proven right and I definitely was. Another thing I didn't really enjoy was how the topic of sex made appearances in scenes that had no use for it. Don't get me wrong, I am all for heavy and steamy but there is a time and a place, and I felt like there were a few red flags scattered around.
It also follows Nico, a sexy-as-sin cop with a heart of gold who kept gluing my jaw to the ground for too many reasons to count. His point of view was the most heartbreaking, in my opinion. His dynamic with his family was just stunning. I didn't know how invested I was in him and his brother's life, Josh, until I saw all the crap that life threw at them. The hardships they had to endure made me ache inside and brought tears to my eyes.
All in all, I was very happy with how everything tied up at the end and I can't wait to read more by Kelly!

4 stars -- I received a free copy through NetGalley in exchange for an honest and unbiased review/opinion.

This review is going to suffer b/c I wasn't able to immerse myself in this book like I normally would...it actually took me an unprecedented week to read, and it had NOTHING to do with the story. But as such, I don't have my thoughts all nicely gathered as I normally do. So bear with me.

I find I'm really loving Ms. Siskind's writing and characters. While I've only read book 2 in this series of hers, I still feel like I can say that with confidence. What's funny to me is that I just finished reading my review for that book, and I gave it the same number of stars, but it wasn't because I was as in love with Nico as I was with Sawyer. I just enjoyed the story, and thought it was a solid romance with a lot of depth, and flawed characters that seem to grow over the course of the book. There were little things that left me a bit unsatisfied, but nothing egregious, you know? So it's kind of funny to give it the same star rating, but for this one it was just an overall feel, whereas for book 2 it was a balance of one amazing character and one meh character. Annnnndddd you really didn't want to hear all that, did you?

ANYWAYS. So both Nico and Raven were actually super cool characters, but in kind of opposite ways. They are both so damaged by troubling childhoods, but it shaped them into completely different individuals. But I kind of still understood what drew them to each other. It's like they balanced each other off, you know? Raven is kind of jaded, and edgy, and standoffish, and not exactly a rule follower. Whereas Nico is very soft, and gentle, and goes all in, and is ALL ABOUT THE RULES. They're sort of extremes on their own. And it was interesting to see how that all kind of clashes and results in the ultimate climax of their relationship. I wasn't expecting it, and yet looking back I kind of should have, you know? I was initially a bit put off by both of their mistakes, but in the end I was happy with how it played out...it felt true to both of their characters, even if it made me temporarily mad at them. But it made the learning feel more authentic I guess. Like neither changed, but they both learned to compromise. Nicely done Ms. Siskind, props.

I will say that although I enjoyed their banter, I did miss the lightheartedness that came with Sawyer's ridiculous personality. That boy shone even in this book in his little appearances. I LOVED seeing the group all together, they really made me laugh and I wished they really existed somewhere out in the world. That epilogue was basically ALL OF THE THINGS. And now I want to read book one even more, I need to figure out how to squeeze it in. *SIGH*

So yeah, solid final book in the series. Dealt with some difficult issues on both their ends, but in the end I was missing falling deeply in love with the MCs to really push it over the top (*groan* pun not intended) for me. Will be watching for more from Ms. Siskind in the future, especially since she gives good Canadianness.

Let’s lay the cards on the table.

Nico and Raven were worth the wait.

Yep. Even though I kept looking over my shoulder at them as I read through My Perfect Mistake and A Fine Mess, I’m glad that they waited to tell their story, for a variety of reasons.

Kolton and Shay had to go first. There’s a kid involved and unrequited love for them over 2 years wouldn’t have been fair to Jackson. Plus, they are the foundation of the series.
Sawyer and Lily had to be next because these two needed each other desperately. Waiting much longer would have been catastrophic for both.
Nico and Raven had to go last because of all their baggage. Some might say they got together too soon, but I won’t because a little pain never hurt anyone.
I was introduced to Kelly Siskind’s books on Twitter, confirming that good things can come from social media. I had my twitter phase just as My Perfect Mistake was hitting e-books everywhere. I’m so glad. My Perfect Mistake was one of my favorite books of 2016 (and Kolton? One of my favorite book boyfriends!). A Fine Mess was next and touched my heart with Siskind’s take on love between two souls that were shouldering so much alone. And, now 2017 starts off with Hooked on Trouble, a story of two people who place family above everything despite the questionable ones they grew up in.

Nico and Raven are such beautiful characters. Readers sort of knew this about Nico because his friends can’t say enough good things about him, but Raven is such a wonderful surprise. Tattooed, always dressed in black, sarcastic and sharp-tongued, Raven is outwardly the tough girl in the group. We know that she didn’t have a good start in life and found trouble wherever she could early on. But she kept her huge heart buried until Nico dug it up in Aspen and then broke it. Nico could have handled things better, but even his huge shoulders aren’t big enough to handle everything he puts on them.

Family drives Hooked on Trouble. Neither Nico nor Raven had a good upbringing. Nico has barely managed to keep his family together, while Raven wants nothing more than to find the one person in her’s that ever felt like home. When Raven’s quest to find her sister brings her and Nico back together, Siskind treats her readers to a book that is filled with the gentleness of spirit against the backdrop of homelessness, recovery, betrayal, and, most importantly, love.

And, there is so much to love about Hooked on Trouble: friendship, family, soul mates finding each other and making each other better. That moment when you realize that you’ve found the one person who you can be you with, despite all the trouble that’s come before and will come after. With her Over the Top series, Siskind gave her readers three very different couples, all struggling with different, yet every day, things that we can relate to: gentle souls wrapped up in strong packages that reach into your heart and slowly grab hold of it.

5 Stars for Hooked on Trouble. Heat level: 4

You know how everyone these days seems to want that bad boy with an attitude, the alpha male with a quick tongue and even bigger muscles, the star athlete or rockstar? I love how Kelly writes real characters with real issues. I don't know about you, but I can't say I often come across a bad boy who needs to be reformed or a rockstar who's home on tour. But you know what is a possibility? Stumbling upon a cop with the biggest heart imaginable. I love how real it all felt.

So, long story short, Nico is kind of everyone I want. Sure, he's tall, sure, he has muscles, sure, he has piercing blue eyes, but you know what else? He would do or give anything possible for the people he loves. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need and he always goes above and beyond. I'm not even just talking about Raven, but with his family, or Kolton and Sawyer. Even the kids that he helps out at the rec centre where he volunteers. Everything Nico does has a purpose and that's to help others. Sure, because of this he holds those close to him at higher standards, but it's because he doesn't want to see anyone fail. I also felt so bad for all of the pressure that he keeps on his own shoulders, how he internalizes any issue instead of opening up. When Nico could accept that he isn't responsible for everyone's actions and Raven could let down her guard, these two are magic.

“There is darkness in all of us, but there is light, too. Yours still shines, Raven. How brightly is up to you."

Quick recap on Nico: he's a cop, he's hot AF and he's a giant, mushy teddy bear with a lot of feelings. Um, sign me up for one of those please and thank you! Maybe I should try my chances with a speeding ticket? Decisions, decisions... ;)

“Is this the part where you tell me not to worry? That objects appear larger from this angle?” My attempt at levity falters under my shaky voice. I’m no virgin, but my body has never accommodated something that size.
Gripping the base of his shaft, he kneels on the bed and nudges my knees apart. His eyes flick up to mine, that usual liquid ocean now blue flame. “This is the part where I show you how good a man can make a woman feel.”

*blushes*

I loved how strong and independent Raven is. She holds her pride high and will only ask for help when it's truly needed. One thing would've loved to see of from her is her vulnerable side! In those moments when she showed her vulnerability, especially with Nico, amazing things happened. Those were some of my favourite moments of the entire book. She may have been a bit hard to connect to, and damn don't even get me started on her stubbornness, but Raven was without a doubt the perfect heroine to bring Nico to his knees. I've been curious about her since My Perfect Mistake, so I'm so happy to now have her story!

“Penny for your thoughts.” Kolton nudges my elbow, his brown eyes soft with compassion.
“Seems cheap, and we don’t have pennies anymore.” My heavy thoughts weigh more than the crown jewels.

For all of my non-Canadian friends, true story. We don't have pennies.

I'm a sucker for romance. Can you tell? And you don't have to sell me on a fancy candlelit dinner, I want the real stuff. Quiet whispers on the couch, stolen glances or touches, family dinners with crazy siblings. All of that stuff means more to me and therefore builds a stronger report with the characters and their relationship. To be romantic, sometimes you just need a Hawaiian shirt and crazy nickname. From now on, please call me Petal.

The last (I want to say) 30% or so really just knocked me off my feet. In that short span alone there was not only plenty of plot development and character growth, but these two learning so much about each other and their relationship all at the same time. The rising action and subsequent conflict was so simple, but the reactions and outcome were so complex, I was really excited to see how Nico and Raven would work their way back to each other. And the feels! Ahhh, there were just so many feels it makes my little heart happy. Coming out of this though, my favourite part of the entire book was the resolution. Usually, when one character does something wrong, I want to see them in their knees grovelling. Who doesn't like a little well deserved grovelling? But here, there were issues on both sides. Sure, one character screwed up more than the other but you know what made that perfect? It was the fact that they then BOTH had to work TOGETHER to find their way back to each other. There was grovelling, there were heartfelt speeches, there was a ton of romance and all of it was perfect. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Kelly writes my favourite endings ever.

"Poker players don’t lead with their hands open. They bluff once or twice, ensuring unpredictability, then they attack. This is my chance to go all in, all chips on the table, win big or fold. For Nico, I’ll risk everything."

Oh, and then we get to this little thing called an epilogue, and here's were I'm going to contradict myself; where I love endings, I usually hate epilogues. I hate how forced they are and it seems that in every epilogue ever, the couple either 1. Gets engaged. 2. Has their wedding. Or 3. The heroine announces that she's pregnant. Let's all start a slow clap for originality, okay? Yeah, I'm not a fan. But Kelly, my girl, she writes the most beautiful epilogues that have my heart soaring in the clouds and the biggest smile on my face. They're perfect, every time. The epilogue in Hooked on Trouble though wasn't just to end off Raven and Nico's story, but it was also a send off for Shay and Kolton, and Lily and Sawyer as well. That's right, we got one last hoorah with the whole gang together and it was magnificent. Especially with that bomb dropping, and THANK THE LORD! because I've been waiting for this moment to come up for THREE BOOKS!!! Hahaha I'm so happy, I love it. #bratoss

"We’re not the same, Nico and me. We won’t always agree, and we might test each other’s limits, but if he kisses me like this and opens his heart, I’ll be his and his and his. And he’ll always be mine."

Yeah, sure, Hooked on Trouble can be read as a standalone, as with the others books in the series, but why would you bother when they're all this good? Trust me, start with My Perfect Mistake, fall in love with everyone, and then keep going. You won't be disappointed! <3

Kelly seriously impresses me more and more with every book she writes. With her debut, Chasing Crazy, coming out only a year ago, it's astounding the level of precision and perfection that she uses in her stories. You'll never know that she's a newer author, she writes like a seasoned professional. She creates characters that you want to know and love while creating dynamic stories that are real enough to seem obtainable. In the romance industry, what more can you want? The sassy or strong heroines, the alpha, brooding or loveable heroes? Yeah, don't worry, they're all there too. <3 It feels like she's been doing this for years, so I'm shocked to now see that it's literally been one year. But damn, what a year it has been.

"Standing here, so close [to him], I can easily forget the nights I spent staring at my cell phone, plotting his demise. Dismemberment by captive killer whale was high on my list, a close second to pitching machine shots to the balls."

I feel like I've come full circle with these characters and honestly don't want to let them go. Ask ANY of the other Sisters here at The Sisterhood of the Traveling Book Boyfriends, I don't ever finish a series. I could pick up a story that's book 5 in a series, or book 3. I'll read one, sometimes two, and move on. I never, EVER, finish a series (and it drives Quinn nuts!). I'm usually just too busy or there's too many other books releasing around the same time and I move on. But with the Over The Top series by Kelly Siskind? No way, Jose. I'm hooked.

"I’m nothing but a moody troll."

This quote just speaks to me. ;)

I am a HUGE fan of Kelly Siskind and the Hooked series, so I was uber excited when I saw book 3 on netgalley! Kelly’s writing and storytelling is always on point so I knew this book would be amazing like the others! And it was!
Raven and Nico had a couple hot nights in Aspen a couple months ago. They didn’t expect to see each other again but density had other plans for this couple. They had insta chemistry and now that they are in the same town they seem to be picking up at where they left off! Well of course they had some obstacles, but will their chemistry be enough.
After reading a new Kelly book I always say “OMG this one was my favorite” but I SWEAR this one IS my favorite. It was a beautiful story that really touched my heart. Haha ok that last sentence even made me laugh but as corny as it sounds it is true. As always I look forward to reading more from Kelly.

Title: Hooked On Trouble
Author: Kelly Siskind

4 unexpected stars

For my first taste of what Kelly Siskind has to offer, I couldn't have asked for a better introduction than Hooked On Trouble. It was the kind of read that gave me butterflies in my stomach and had me laughing at some of their antics. The suspense in having Raven search for her lost sister was something that had me at the edge of my seat and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next.

4 breath taking dreams

Raven and Nico's relationship is one that started off right, but the night's ending was one that cut deep, making Raven distrustful of Nico's action. Watching them attempt to strengthen their trust in one another, deal with their issues and even overcome the obstacles they face was something that kept me entranced and wanting to keep going. I enjoyed my first taste of Kelly Siskind... now I just have to get my hands on the rest of this series and fall in love with those characters as well.

Oh, my god. Finally! Nico and Raven's story is here! And after a very embarrassing happy dance (which may or may not have occurred in front of a window), I immediately hunkered down and devoured this bad boy in a couple hours. We're talking up until the wee hours of the morning because I could not put it down. I adore this series, so I was a bit hesitant to start Hooked on Trouble for two reasons. The most obvious is that I really did not want it to end, but also because I was a little afraid that it would fall short of the build-up that readers went through. I'd have to say, Kelly did not disappoint. Hooked on Trouble was just as amazing as the previous books in her Over the Top series. I could happily read 3 more books if it meant spending more time with this wonderful group of friends. Out of the 3 couples, I'd have to say it was Nico and Raven that had the best sexual tension. It was simmering and brewing ever since the first book, only to ignite in the sexiest way ever. There's a little bit of everything in this book. There's the sex appeal that'll melt your Kindle, the laughter that only the closest friends can share, and raw emotions that only the strongest relationships can survive. Things do not come easily for Nico and Raven, but it is their tenaciousness and single-minded determination that pulls them through (and pulls their heads out of the sand when things go haywire). Kelly's writing is phenomenal. Her words flow effortlessly, which makes her books such a pleasure to read. She sucks you in from the first page and keeps you enraptured until the very end. As sad as I am that this series is over, I'm beyond excited that I found a new favorite author and now I get to look forward to what she has in store for her readers in the future.
