this was a very quick read. Give me angels demons heaven and hell any day I enjoyed the fated mates trope, however the actions of the male were questionable at times i didnt fully understand why it was in there
Paranormal romances are very underated and I am glad that i have found another author who writes PNR. I look forward to checking our her other work
Untamed demon soul by Julie Anne Addicott.
A very enjoyable read with some great characters. I liked Lola and Belial. How they were with each other. Looking forward to reading more from this author. 5*.

Oh well, this one of those books you read for the pleasure of reading. There is nothing dramatic/fantastic about the storyline, once you figure out who is the father of whom it all falls into a predictable pace.
We have two main characters Lola a "human" who can see demons/angels and has had her near death experiences with that, and Belial, the super hot demon.
Long story short Belial is ordered to kill Lola but refuses, and doesn't know why exactly. That's when the plot thickens! Secrets are revealed and everything gets complicated.
All in all storyline was entertaining

Demon Soul introduces readers to a world predominantly ruled by demons and angels. It also features other sorts of supernatural characters. It felt similar to other books I have read in this genre. Classic case of a girl getting wrapped up in the battle between good versus evil who has an unexplained attraction to the bad boy demon who has issues of his own. May be hints of something new here but hard to tell. This is the debut novel by this author and I felt that the writing style was very good for a first novel. The story was told from multiple points of view without getting too bogged down and featured a good pace.
Overall, this story is a good start with a solid premise. The book did read more like a prequel. I think it would be more interesting if we were invested in the characters and then go back to learn the back story. Or start with their back stories independently. I wish the 2nd book were already out so that I could delve deeper. I worry that the first story wasn't enough of a hook for me to remember to go back and look for it later.
