Now that I've read the sneak peek for 'Wayfarer' I CANNOT WAIT to fully get into the Passenger series! I am in the midst of reading Passenger, so perhaps I have been engaging in spoilers by already reading the sneak peek but I quite simply could not not read it, if that makes sense. Everything I could see from the sneak peak told me that Alexandra Bracken continues with the same beautiful prose and amazing characterisation!
I read the first book in the series years ago, so I thought it would be interesting to go back now and read the sneak peak of the second book. It was a little confusing because I don't remember the story well, but I did enjoy what I read and the memories it brought back from the first book. I think one day I will go back and reread both books fully!
This excerpt whet my appetite and I was super excited about reading the rest! A great teaser and Alexanfea Bracken is fast becoming a must read author for me.
I love Alexandra Bracken's writing and enjoyed this sneak peek of her novel. The Wayfarer and Passenger series is a delight to read and will be recommending it.
Wow! That's how you do a duology. The first book was amazing but the second book kept me on the edge of my seat. With that said I expect nothing else from Alexandra Bracken. With rich characters and a gripping plot fans of historical fiction, fantasty and scifi will find this book to be absolutely enchanting!
Wonderful Teen Novel. As a follow up to Passengers, it's a must read. The story line is magical. I bought this for my teen room at the library that I work in and hand sell it when I can.
I think I liked the cover better than the book. Alexandra Bracken is an author I loved when I first read her fantasy story, but her other series somehow weren't on my liking.
I am eager to read the entire book. I loved this! The author has done a wonderful job with the characters.
This author writes amazing stories with unique twists and wonderful characters. Love to go through the experiences of time travel and suspenseful mysteries with these lovable characters. I also loved the steampunk feel of all the gadgets and intricate ways things work. The various storylines all seeming to be separate and somehow all come to work together at the end is especially entertaining.
Maybe I should have read the series from the beginning.... It seems to be a well written book with a good strong story, but I seem to have come in at the middle. I am sure this will appeal to teens and adults. As for me, I'll have to find the first book.
This was a short snipped into the second book in the duology. But while it did make me curious about the character progression in the second book, it didn't get me excited about the plot, and the writing seemed less emotive than the first book. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I'll be picking up Wayfarer in the next few months.
I loved Wayfarer just as much as I loved Passenger, . Again, Alex Bracken has proven herself fully capable of crafting with complexity in story, world and characters, and I was really impressed (and inspired) by the way she unfurled the rest of the journey that began with Passenger.
The sneak peek was a teaser - it did make me want to read the book in the future, though! It is hard to review a title from a sneak peek, though. I cannot say if I will recommend it until I finish the whole thing. I did find the first part of the preview a bit disturbing and violent. From what I gather, this is the second book in a set, and that adds to my confusion a little. I did not publish my review anywhere online, because I am not sure it is a fair, honest opinion based on a sneak preview of a series. Thank you for the preview, however!
this was an okay book, I can't say I remember all that much from it.
I kept walking away from it and then would remember that I was reading it and would try again.
I was hoping for something better, like the first book Passenger. That book was amazing.
Thank you for the chance to preview this title. It helps me make purchasing decisions.
I still haven't got around to reading this book yet its on my tbr pile, But I really liked this first one and I am still excited to check this one out. I've just been waiting for the right moment to start. I will for sure review over on Goodreads once I have finished!
I am giving this a 3 out of 5 stars for a sampler. This was a great sneak peek at this awesome book. I reread this twice. The full book is on my TBR!
Oh my, I can't wait to read the whole book. This preview was amazing!
After reading Passenger, I just have to start on Wayfarer. Wayfarer moves faster compared to Passenger, While reading Passenger, atbone point bore me and I stopped reading in for several months before picking completing it. Compared to many series, this sequel is definitely better than the first book.
Thank you to Netgalley for providing me with an ARC of this preview in exchange for an honest review.
Wayfarer is a much anticipated continuation of Alexandra Bracken's novel, Passenger... I have been waiting with baited breath to continue reading this amazing story of heros and heroines, or time travel and time change, or good and evil.... and boy did this preview deliver everything I was waiting for. The story is exciting and extremely well written. The characters are lovable and believable. The story is well developed and has much insight and detail into the action with lots of mystery and anticipation thrown into the mix.
I loved every minute of my read. Thank you.... I definitely recommend this book for all to read.
Enjoy and Happy Reading!
