As with most short story collections this is a mixed bag of good, okay and not so good. It's even better when they're mysteries. This collection, like most, has high points and low points. I have read several of the authors before and discovered a couple I'd like to read more of.
What a fun and engaging collection of short stories. Loved the Mary Higgins Clark the best!
Charlotte Macleod gives us cosy yuletide murder in her short story collection, Mistletoe Mysteries. Peter Lovesey, Eric Wright, Howard Engel, Isaac Asimov and others deliver Christmas mysteries with murder, robbery puzzles and human nature all tied up with a holiday bow. Read some classics.
Charlotte MacLeod has put together another interesting collection of Christmas related mysteries. Her contribution tells of Sarah Kellings adventures during the Case of the Convivial Codfish. The other tales include a haunted house tale, a visiting ghost, the Nameless Detective as Santa Claus. and a short mystery by Isaac Asimov. In all, a very nice collection of Christmas themed mysteries! Thanks goes out to Open Road for bring back this collection!
