6 Months cleanse, from men and food. That is what Grace was doing to fix her life. Riding herself of all thing not needed to find herself on the right path. What Grace wasn't expecting was Jeremy, fate bring her something she wasn't expecting. After a few run in this two finally take the time to sit down and talk.

Loved this story from AJ Pine, and fully enjoyed reading this cleansing read. Grace has went through a devoting blow. Not only to her self but herself esteem. Blackmail and their has derailed her perfect life. Now determine to get back on track she finds this a book that changes her life.

Jeremy is young and not ready to settle down. An ex can do that to you after crushing everything you thought you had. But Jeremy is knocked off his feet after a few run in's with Grace.

This two have three months left in this cleanse and have three month of obstacle to beat. But through this three me we enjoy a wonderful story.

What a great book! I wish I could take a seat at the bar at The Kingston Ale House so I could chat with all of the awesome characters that we've been introduced to throughout this fabulous series because they're all people that I would love to hang out with. Jeremy appears to be a happy go lucky kind of guy but he's been protecting his shattered heart for a while now and he avoids commitment like the plague. Grace has a lot of ambition and she's an excellent massage therapist but her dream of owning her own business is complicated by her judgmental parents and the jerk who stole her money and wants back into her life. Can Jeremy be the friend Grace so desperately needs to make her dreams come true? I read a complimentary copy of this book on NetGalley and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

When Grace swears off men she will find out one is worth it, if she can wait. Jeremy is thrown off his game when he meets Grace and it makes for a fabulous story with the perfect blend of humor, romance and sizzle.

Pine has never been one to disappoint and she has ended her Kingston Ale Series on a high note. I was not sure which book would take the cake of this series, since I love them all so much, but this one wins! Everything about this story is quirky, fun, sexy, and hilarious. There are moments of passion and moments of hurt and confusion. You feel it all between the covers of this book!

Worth the Wait is a refreshing contemporary romance story. Grace is a brilliant heroine. Any woman can relate to her and her frustrations. She is a woman that is determined to find herself and hopefully find love along the way. This character is inspiring. Her internal ramblings are humorous and her determination is admirable. I loved how I was able to cheer her on and be excited for what was hopefully coming in the future. Watching her attempt to find her place in life and love was endearing!

We all know a leading lady needs the perfect man and Jeremy is just that. These two have chemistry off the charts. Their connection is something you can literally feel. I love how fate is trying to weave them together, giving them chances to meet and get to know each other. These two click. They both have things to work on in their lives and their budding friendship and attraction gives them safe place to find who they are.

It was fantastic to see the Kingston gang back at it again. Jeremy is an important part of their crew and they flow in and out of the story. They adopt Grace into the fold and the community creates a fabulous backdrop to what is happening. Everything about this book is a win. The writing is top notch; the storyline flows very well; the characters are flawed and relatable, and you lose yourself in a story of healing, finding who you are, and second chances. Pine has a winner here and I cannot wait to see what she has in store for the future. As much as I will miss the gang, I know that they are waiting for me whenever I want to come back again!

What happens when two people who were burned by their exes find themselves falling in love again? Do they jump in eyes closed? Or do they come up with some bizarre way of doing things to get around it?

Both Jeremy and Grace have been busy nursing broken hearts. Their temporary solution is to give up on relationships. These days, Jeremy likes being unattached as he happily goes through a series of women. Grace has sworn off guys, at least for six months as part of a man-cleanse, an idea she got from a self-help book. Things become tricky after she and Jeremy meet in a rather intimate way (he's her massage client) and an undeniable attraction follows. It's so tempting to do something but unfortunately, it's a case of right place, wrong time. Jeremy surprises himself by wanting to be with Grace, telling her that he'll wait for her until she's done with her cleanse and done putting herself back together. Sounds like a plan they can agree on: friends first, then whatever next. But wait. More complications arise when Grace winds up as star of her own reality show based on her current six-month hiatus from dating. It's a too-good opportunity that she can't afford to miss out on for a number of reasons. So for now it becomes a much harder wait for them. Meddlesome exes aren't helpful either.

This was such a cute story to dive into about two young people wrestling with their feelings and gradually blurring the line between friends and lovers. These are characters becoming more self-aware and truthful about what they want. It's about taking another leap of faith despite the fact that things went badly before. And even though they're trying hard to behave themselves, they do manage to find loopholes, and those are always so fun! It was nice to see the rest of the Kingston Ale House gang again especially since there's guaranteed fun when they're around. One can almost envy this close-knit circle of friends who go way back. As for me, I get to live vicariously through these young friends living it up in Chicago.

Here's the best reason to read A.J. Pine: for the happy vibes that will inevitably wash over you. Who doesn't love a story about falling in love again after what seems like devastating heartbreak? A happily-ever-after is a nice place to go after it's all said and done. So do yourself a favour and check out the Kingston Ale House series and read WORTH THE WAIT!

Totally love this series each book is simply brilliant and book 4 in the series certainly didn't disappoint.

A lovely story about two people who were afraid to trust with their hearts.

Since Jeremy was left broken hearted with a proposal refusal he's been in the 'no commitment' mentality when it comes to women, no relationships. Grace had her heart broken by her boyfriend when he made her work 2 jobs and took all her money.

Grace and Jeremy are such likeable characters that are completely entertaining and keeping you hooked watching their relationship play out and unfold. Their banter was great.

Great slow burn romance keeping your love for the Kingston Ale House series favourites.

3.5 stars - copy received through Netgalley for honest review
Unlike most, I didn't read the previous books. I missed the fact that it was book 4. This is a standalone even though characters from the previous books were mentioned. The story was cute. Grace and Jeremy both are gun shy after getting there hearts broken. When they meet, Grace is in the middle of a cleansing. She is cutting out all toxics, including men. Things get complicated once Grace becomes part of a reality, internet show. There are some fun times and light laughs throughout. We have meddling exes, and friends and families with good intentions. It makes for an entertaining story. I am sorry I missed the previous books. I will have to put them on my TBR list.

Worth the Wait was definitely a fun read like the rest of the books in this series. After suffering from a betrayal, Grace vowed to do a man cleanse from her life which includes no touching or kissing anyone for at least six months. Jeremy is still recovering from the wound left by his ex-girlfriend. They both keep on bumping into each other and no sooner sparks fly between them. But Grace wants to complete what she promised herself and Jeremy want to be the one to be the man in her life after this is over. Will Grace be worth the wait?

This book was really fun to read. I liked the plot and enjoyed how everything was executed. After Grace’s ex-boyfriend betrays her, she vows to bring a complete change in her life including a man cleanse. But her strength wavers after she gets to know Jeremy who she met while doing her job. I really, really loved Jeremy, he was absolutely perfect!

The story spun in an interesting direction after Jeremy’s ex-girlfriend & reporter entered the scenario. I liked how Jeremy and Grace handled the situation in their own way. Though Grace was very insecure despite the fact that it was crystal clear Jeremy felt so much more for her. Due to her insecurity, she made some shitty decisions but in the end, I kind of understood where she was coming from.

Jeremy… oh, this guy just perfect and absolutely swoon-worthy! His faith from Grace never wavered and he was ready to wait for Grace how long it took. He was patient, understanding and never judged Grace. He was simply so sweet and he melted my heart! I loved the romance between them.

Overall, Worth the Wait was a good read. I enjoyed the plot and fell in love with the characters. I loved the chemistry between Grace and Jeremy. The writing was smooth and easy to read and the pace was even throughout the book. I am definitely looking forward to reading more by this author.

I love when a prologue grabs you from the very beginning and pulls you in, and Worth the Wait definitely did that for me. When I read the first few paragraphs, I really couldn’t wait to see exactly what happened!

The storyline was cute and a bit different from other books in the contemporary romance genre. Jeremy and Grace were both characters I could easily relate to. Each has trust issues, but as I learned more about them, I could understand why, especially considering Grace’s past. I love a book in which fate and destiny play a big part, and in my opinion, fate is truly what brought these two together. If Jeremy hadn’t been in a hotel and had such a rough day, he never would have found himself on Grace’s massage table. Even though she’s on a “man cleanse,” Jeremy will definitely tempt her. While the book is a romance, it’s also about two people who have to learn what it means to trust again, and may just discover that each one of them is “worth the wait.” Yes, I love when a title is what the book is really all about.

I have been a fan of A.J. Pine’s for several years now. She always manages to keep her storylines and characters fresh and different, even when it’s in a series. She also blends her new characters with older characters with ease. She also manages to have the perfect combination of sweet and hot! She perfected that in this book! I highly recommend reading her books if you like characters with depth and your romance with a little heat! Can’t wait to see what she has next for her fans!!!

Seriously. This book is already one of my top ten books of the year. A New Adult that makes sense. Two people that have been betrayed in the worst way and have major trust issues with the opposite sex. Grace especially. I really felt for her; her family didn’t help that much when it came to her ex but they did help her in other ways. Her ex is the biggest POS that I’ve read in a long time. Jeremy’s ex is just as bad and takes advantage of Grace in the beginning but she isn’t as bad as Grace’s.

I loved the idea of the cleanse and also posting it on Facebook. I loved how Ms. Pine makes her stories relatable to the younger reader but also, this old broad can relate to it, too. I loved Grace’s internal dialogue and how she rationalized what she was doing and how she is feeling throughout the book. She just never expected Jeremy and I adored how she handled her feelings for him and how it all worked out.

Jeremy is a dream. I normally don’t like it when the hero has the same issues that the heroine has but he had a lot of growing up to do in the book. He had to figure out how to have a real relationship with a woman that didn’t involve sex. He had to learn to talk to Grace, become friends with her and learn to trust again.

Don’t get me wrong…there are smexy times but it’s NOT what you think. It’s BETTER! Oh, yes, better. Ms. Pine has written a great book that doesn’t revolve around how many times they can get into each other’s pants. It’s a character driven story that anyone can relate too and enjoy. I’m sad to see this series end. I’ve read every book and they are all wonderful but Grace and Jeremy stole my heart and still haven’t let go.

Living the carefree life, drinking and learning how to make a pint of ale, in the hopes of becoming a partner in the bar. After a long day of sitting in an uncomfortable chair in an 8 hour course, he is ready for a well deserved Massage. What he didn't bargain for was finding a woman that would not only soothe his aching back, but one that would bring back his reason for more.
Grace, has had it rough, so bad that she has decided that she is on a cleanse, a man cleanse for 6 months. Now on her last 3 months and the home stretch, what she didn't need was Jeremy coming in and making her doubt her judgment. What she didn't expect was that Jeremy was everything her cleanse promised she would have, a man that would love her for her and not what she could give physically. A true friend and more.
A story of friends first and then more, a book that will have you engrossed in the lives of these two and how their pasts come barreling in trying to destroy what they have gained, love, friendship, a bond. A book worth every minute of sleep lost for me. Love!!!

Worth the Wait was a sweet story about two people who have been badly burned in relationships finding love again.

Jeremy and Grace have no interest in relationships when they first meet, or when they meet again, or once again. Wait, is the universe trying to tell them something, perhaps? ;)

I really liked the two of them together--so cute!--and loved that Grace's "cleanse" meant that for 90% of the book their relationship had nothing more physical than the occasional kiss on a forehead or hand. (And some phone calls...but they don't technically count as getting "physical", right? ;)) It made for some very sweet moments and meant that the two of them really got to know each other without all of the physical stuff muddying the waters.

Or...did it? There was a bit more confusion/questioning of feelings toward the end than I'd expected--though some of that was each of them doubting themselves, rather than doubting the other one--and I'm still not 100% why Jeremy and Grace didn't take care of what needed to be taken care of before the hospital visit took place (since we learn about the ER visit and non-kiss in the prologue, I'm not really spoiling anything here--it'll drive you crazy for most of the book anyway) though I do admit that the circumstances came together to make a pretty memorable resolution overall. It was--wait for it--Worth the Wait. ;)

The Kingston Ale House books all work pretty well as standalones--ironically, the only one in the series that I have yet to read is Jeremy's sister's book ( Three Simple Words ), but you'd better believe I'll remedy that as soon as I can. Since this is the last in the series, all of the other couples make appearances here; if you haven't read their books yet, no worries, but I can't guarantee you won't want to read them before you get to the last page.

But that's what TBR lists are for, right? ;)

Rating: 4 stars / B+

I have to give it to Grace, going that long on this cleanse. It actually makes me want to do it too lol. I love Jeremy and that he's a ginger haha. Lisa cracked me up when they met to the point I almost peed myself.

Things I didn't like about the book were how Grace lets Mark get away with so much crap and does nothing. I know, I know, she thinks she's protecting someone she loves, but honestly I world have ended that shit quick.

The whole story was hilarious, but I would have loved to see each chapter correlate to the cleanse. Great story and I wasn't even lost even though this is the first book in this series I've read. I've rated it four stars!!

I loved this whole series and was so excited when A.J. Pine said that she was going to write Jeremy's story! Jeremy Denning closed himself off from emotions after being rejected by his college girlfriend. Grace Bailey has been burned by love and is on a six month man cleanse. These two keep bumping into each other and start a friendship because Grace is committed to her cleanse. They can't fight their attraction and connection though. Jeremy completely stole my heart! He was amazing! Okay, I'll admit that Grace was pretty awesome too! You will be rooting for these two throughout the whole book! I would definitely recommend it!

This book made me so happy! I swear I had a smile on my face the whole time I was reading. Jeremy had so many swoon-worthy gentlemanly moments and I was inspired by Grace's determination to live a better, more independent life. I loved watching them fall for one another!

If I could transport myself to Kingston Ale House, I would do it in a heartbeat. That's how much I've come to love the crew at the center of this series. Jamie could teach me more about the fine art of beer-making, Brynn would help me be a better numbers person, I'd go shopping with Holly, I'd listen to Will's accent for ages, and, of course, Annie and I would talk about books all the live long day, while Wes and I discuss the finer points of writing.

In Worth The Wait, we finally get to see what makes Jeremy tick and we meet the lovely Grace. Their goals were at complete odds- Jeremy wants to hook up, while Grace is on a man cleanse- but there's something about Grace that draws Jeremy in. Maybe he's initially intrigued by the challenge but it quickly becomes something more.

While Grace is the one who started the fast, it turns out Jeremy needs it as well. They both need to reflect on their past choices and figure out what's behind it all. This part was especially interesting to me because it's so different from my own relationship style. I generally see red flags from a mile away and run away from those guys, whereas Grace ran toward them and Jeremy decided he was done with relationships altogether.

Jeremy and Grace both need to learn to trust their instincts and each other. It's not an easy process and my heart really went out to both of them. Grace has the hardest time with this, particularly with one thing she refuses to tell her family about. This kind of drove me crazy because, of all people, they would have been the most equipped to handle the situation but I could also understand her drive to figure things out on her own.

Just as they're becoming friends, Jeremy's ex learns about Grace's man cleanse and turns it into a news story. This part had the potential to be the same old thing but Pine turned it on its head as Grace made some refreshing moves. This is a big part of why I loved this book so much. It was thoroughly enjoyable and I loved watching the characters navigate whatever life threw at them. And I loved, loved, loved watching their friendship turn into something more, even though the man cleanse stipulated they couldn't act on their feelings. This made for some hot scenes and the resolution was more than gratifying.

Plus, it's clear Pine is a White Sox fan so she has my eternal fandom. At one point, Jeremy's ex comes over wearing a Cubs shirt and I liked to think of this as proof she was the villain. Even if she technically wasn't. Sorry not sorry!

Jeremy and Grace's story was a great way to close out this fun series. All the books can be read as standalones and I read them out of order myself. If you're looking for an enjoyable read, Worth The Wait is worth your time. I can't wait to see what Pine comes up with next!

I love AJ Pine's books. I love how she gives us these groups of people, a family of sorts, and brings us into their lives, exploring and learning more about them as a series progresses. The Kingston Ale House series does just that, sucks you in and keeps you entertained while falling in love with the characters.

Jeremy was hurt by a past relationship and no longer wants to deal with commitments and anything more than simple fun. Grace also suffered from a previous relationship, but it left her more than broken-hearted and she's struggling still to put the pieces of her life back together.

Both Jeremy and Grace are fun and likable characters. I really liked how Jeremy fit in the the Kingston gang and how they brought Grace into their fold. I always find it amusing when a man is all about no - commitments until the find that ONE and then it's how do I make her see what we could be. I loved that added layers to the story of Grace and her freeze on all things toxic, most especially men. It really made for a lot of fun, but also enabled Jeremy to show how serious he was about making something work between them.

Worth the Wait was a great blend of funny and sweet, keeping you on the line while waiting to see how things come out for Jeremy and Grace. The sparks between these two could be felt, but there was also something else there, a deeper connection. I really enjoyed watching as these two figured things out, as they found themselves seemingly pushed together by fate in interactions taht allowed them to get to know one another.

Pine has woven together a fabulous story between the pages of this book, one that will make you laugh, make you swoon, and make you want to root on Grace and Jeremy all while falling in love with not only them, but loving the whole gang as well.

WOW! This book rocked - I loved Worth the Wait! It exceeded all of my expectations.

Going in, I had my doubts about how much I would enjoy this romance. I was hesitant to start Worth the Wait because I had not read the previous three books in the Kingston Ale House series and I was worried that I would feel lost in a sea of established characters. I feared that I would feel like I was missing too much history and not be able to focus on the story.

My fears where unnecessary. It didn't matter that I hadn't read the other books because the author gave enough info that I felt completely in the loop while falling in love along with the main couple, Grace and Jeremy. Honestly, after a chapter or two, it felt like I had already been chilling at Jamie's bar for years.

And once I was settled, I never waited to leave. I was consumed with Jeremy and Grace. Their lives were fun and wickedly entertaining. I loved how the author had their budding relationship unfold. Scenes were fill with quick wit AND sexual tension that was soooooo freaking intense. I loved that nothing felt forced - the chemistry felt real and the couple just worked. I loved everything about this book.

Jeremy and Grace's love story, Worth the Wait was a hilarious, sexy read that left my heart all swoony and my lady bits screaming for attention. I cannot recommend it enough and after meeting these two and experiencing their love story - I want all enjoy the other character's stories, too.

So it doesn't matter whether you start with Worth the Wait or go back to the beginning of the series - just meet these characters. Read their books. Do it now.
