First and foremost, I adored Jeremy. He was witty, fun and easy-going, but serious when it really counted.
I loved Grace's conviction in her pursuit of finding something deeper with the right person and learning to trust herself to know who and when that would be. I appreciate that she wanted to see things through but that she didn't disregard the possibility of what was already right in front of her.
This story wasn't full of descriptive sexual encounters but the sexual tension between Jeremy and Grace was squirm-worthy and had me anticipating the end of her cleanse just as much as they were. When that tension finally broke it was just the perfect blend of sexy and sweet that I expected between the two of them.
This book was funny and sweet and I'm dying to go back and read the rest of the series now.

This is my first read by this author. The book is part of a series but I had no issue reading it as a stand alone. I love the cute meet with Jeremy and Grace. She is a massage therapist and Jeremy is sure he will get a "happy ending" from her. She holds her own and doesn't give in. Jeremy has his work cut out for himself. As the title suggests, Grace is worth the wait.

The book has great humor and some steamy love scenes. The friendships and family love shine throughout the story. Overall just a delight to read.

4 stars

I'm a huge fan of author A.J. Pine's writing and once again she's delivered another great read with Worth the Wait.

The storyline was sweet, fun and very entertaining.
Jeremy and Grace were likable characters that will entertain you while watching their relationship unfold.
They amused me with their banter and I loved how they took the time to talk and get to really know each other while Grace was on her "life cleanse".

Overall, Worth the Wait is a well written slow burn romance with a heartwarming storyline and characters that are likable and very entertaining. I've really enjoyed reading the Kingston Ale House series, each book can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend them all!

This wasn't really my favorite. I thought Grace's cleanse was ridiculous and cheesy. I thought Jeremy was crazy for being so hung up on his ex. And the dating thing was just weird.

Worth the wait is the fourth book in the Kingston Ale house. Although part of a series, it can definitely be read as a standalone.

Grace is in a cleansing phase following the end of her previous relationship. Jeremy, while not necessarily pleased with the cleanse, is sure that if he can hold out and be a friend, that it will be worth it in the end.

This was a fun book. I laughed and sighed through out the course of the story. While I enjoyed the story, and A.J's writing, the characters fell a little short for me. I didn't really feel a connection to them. This was the only thing keeping this from being a five star read.

Guys, writing this review breaks my heart! I’ve read the first book of the series a little while back, and since then I’ve been excited about the Kingston Ale House series. I read all the books as ARCs, they got better and better for me, and I even rated the 3rd book 4.5/5 stars, I’m even part of AJ Pine’s facebook group. So, it breaks my heart that I disliked this book so much.

I have to say that I wasn’t feeling this book from the start. After reading 3 books by A.J. Pine, I expected to have no issue whatsoever with her third person narrative or writing style, but I did have some. I found the beginning of this book kind of confusing and it took me a little while to actually get into it.

Because I’ve read all the previous books, I already loved Jeremy. Actually, I was hoping for his book since the first one, and at the moment I even thought he and Holly would be a thing, which turned out not to be so, and while I’m happy that Holly got hunky british-single-dad- Will, I’m kind of sad because Jeremy deverded better than what he got.

See… I hated Grace. At first I just wasn’t sold on her, and I thought that it would change, but the more I read, the more I disliked her, and by the end I was kind of wishing that Jeremy would end up with his ex, because even Whitney was a better character than Grace. That’s messed up. I should never be thinking that.

(there might be slight spoilers ahead… sorry for that!)

The concept of the “cleanse” should have been cool and funny, but I honestly didn’t understand her reasons for doing it. It’s one thing to do a series of mistakes and needing to get her life back on track, but she trusted her boyfriend of a long time, a friend of her family, an employee of her parents… yeah, she was a bit naive, but deciding to cut everything from her life like that, didn’t make much sense to me. But hey, ok, let’s go with it. But then she accepts to go into that reality show and things started to go downhill from there. BUT THEN, after knowing Jeremy for 3 months, after they’ve been together for 2 months, after the guy proved to her time and time again of his feelings for her – and everything without even being able to touch her – she doubts him, his feelings, his actions and his LIFE, and that’s when I was done with her. Look, I understand fear, of course I do, and that was all scary, but she blaming him and putting him down when she was lying to him, being secretive and not 100% honest with him? Hell no!

Grace putting Jeremy down is just something that doesn’t allow me to rise this rating to 3 stars, because it was just such nonsense. How could she accuse him of being with her because she was easy and convenient and never fighting for anything? He, a gorgeous man, with a great group of friends, a house, and money, was with a girl for 2 months without even a single kiss, he was faithful, he was dedicated, and she accused him of that?! Hell… It didn’t help that I thought they had little chemistry and some scenes just didn’t feel right.

If disliking one of the main characters wasn’t enough, I have to say that I really didn’t like the plot, at all. I could have gone on board with the “cleanse”, and it would have been cute to see Jeremy proving that he was devoted to Grace and waiting for her 6 months to be up. That I could get on board with. But then it goes from being a private thing, to being a “reality show” kind of thing, and I didn’t see much sense to it, and then it just kept getting worse for me. I don’t have a problem with reality TV when it’s based on skills, but dating shows? Bahhh, NO! Especially because if just made no sense to me…

I don’t know guys, I didn’t like the concept of the reality show, I didn’t like the little problems within Grace’s life, because I felt like they weren’t as serious as she thought they were. I didn’t like how she then handled her problems. I disliked the presence of the exes and the pressure on Jeremy for him to be different than he is. I don’t know… honestly, this book just wasn’t a good experience for me.

I am super sad about it. I was expecting more. I think Jeremy deserved more.

This was still a great series overall, and I enjoyed the first three books a lot. So, maybe give this series a chance, and maybe this 4th book will be to your liking, because a lot of people have loved it. I just didn’t…

Oh, you guys.

I cannot resist a delicious ginger. I cannot. It’s impossible. And if he also has a sense of humor, a sense of loyalty, and a great big…heart? I am powerless against his charms. And so, my friends, meet Jeremy Denning. He is all of those things, and so much more.

I truly was completely and utterly charmed by the relationship between Jeremy and Grace. I mean, Jeremy alone has charm oozing from his pores. It’s impossible not to lose your heart to his easygoing personality, his quick wit, and his stark sincerity. Combined with Grace, who – with her hippie tendencies and her quirky insistence on seeing her man cleanse through to the very end – holds a great deal of charm herself, they’re adorable together. Sweet and flirty and somehow sexy – even without doing the actual deed.

Which, let’s talk about that. Because there’s a gift involved with taking two characters who haven’t even touched each other intimately – and making you (the reader) ache with want for them. I wouldn’t qualify this as a sexy book (as in, that’s not the first thing that comes to mind about it), but there were definitely moments that set my heart racing and my legs crossing – and they didn’t even involve Grace & Jeremy touching. That’s…a little like whoa, right? Awesome.

There were a few spots where the story dragged for me a little bit – and I can’t even pinpoint the problem. The writing is great. The characters are great. My mind just wandered and I found myself skimming along for something to draw me back in. And – it did. Every time. So this isn’t a complaint so much as it’s an observation. It wasn’t a flawless read for me, but it was a completely enjoyable one.

Loyal readers of this series also get a sweet reward. The updates on all the couples we’ve met and loved along the way were so much fun and such a treat. This was a delightful resolution to the series, and – while saying goodbye is always a little bittersweet – my heart could not feel more satisfied.

A quirky read that will have you smiling … often! A sexy bartender meets a gorgeous massage therapist, they flirt, they go their separate ways … and then proceed to run into each other a handful more times over the next couple of days, even in different states! Obviously fate has spoken … right??

Jeremy Denning is a self-proclaimed lover of women! He’s a great guy, loyal friend, loves his family … but he is never going to commit to a relationship again. Previously burned, twice … well, never going to happen!

Grace Bailey is struggling to prove herself to her family, and trying to help herself grow into a more aware person at the same time. When she meets Jeremy, there’s obviously some major attraction there … but he only wants one thing, and she’s not going there!

He tries to walk away … he really does. She’s sworn off bad food, booze and most especially MEN for six months. How can he compete with that? He doesn’t even want to right? Well … maybe!

I’m really sad to see the Kingston Ale House series come to a close as I’ve enjoyed this crazy, fun group of characters. Worth The Wait is a book the author didn’t have planned but the hero convinced her he needed a happily ever after and he got it, but it took time, patience, and quite a bit of inventive foreplay to get there. From the way these two met, to the way the universe kept throwing them together, to the three months of celibacy, to the “reality show” type arrangement, and to every moment these two spent together really getting to know one another, this book was special. There was much I loved about Worth the Wait, but there were also parts that didn’t ring true, parts that had they been cut out would have made this book five stars for me, but hey…it was still a very strong 4 star read and I wouldn’t have missed it for anything.

After having his heart ripped out by a college girlfriend Jeremy Denning has embraced the single life and vowed never to trust another woman with his heart again. Commitment is a bad four letter word to Jeremy and that’s one of the reasons he hasn’t been able to embrace the idea of becoming a partner in his friend’s business, the Kingston Ale House. Working there for years, he knows the business side inside and out, but learning the brewing side doesn’t thrill him and he’s just not sure he’s ready to give it his all.

The one thing Grace Bailey has always wanted is to prove to her family that she can be successful on her own, but after her boyfriend empties her back account of her savings that she plans to use to open her own massage therapy studio, she finds herself working two jobs to keep her head above water and save as much as she can to make her dreams come true. Determined to take back her life and stop making bad decisions when it comes to men, Grace is following the advice of a self help book Man Cleanse: Six Months to a Healthy, Happy You…and the Road to True Love. She just doesn’t expect to meet someone like Jeremy Denning three months in.

There was something so special about the connection between Jeremy and Grace from the start and while he wasn’t all the convinced about her self help journey, he respected her enough to understand she needed to do it. I actually loved that it forced them to really get to know one another on a different level and it built an insurmountable trust between them that might not have happened if sex had been on the table. That’s not to say there weren’t some steamy moments in the three months Grace had left, they found some very inventive ways to find satisfaction.

I loved seeing all the couples from the previous books especially since they were gathering for a very happy occasion and it really brought to light now much this group of friends were more like family and wanted what was best for one another always.

Fun, crazy, adorable, steamy, and sexy Worth The Wait was exciting to read and easy to enjoy.

I'm not going to finish this book. For some reason, I'm not able to relate to the writing style of the author in this book. This is making the pacing and characters seem off.

Looking forward to the next Entangled title!

AHHHHH-MAY-ZING!!!! Just incredible! AJ Pine is one of my favorite authors, and I am in absolute love with this series. I gobbled up each and every word, and cannot wait to see what's next from Pine.

What a great read by A.J. Pine! I was pleasantly surprised by this story, not quiet sure what I thought it was going to be from the title, but it certainly exceeded my expectations I had for it. When an Author can deliver on romance and steam without even having any sex involved in the story, you know they are good!

We meet Jeremy when he is on a trip to talk about becoming a partner in the Ale House. Jeremy sees his ex on the news and that just adds to the crummy day he has had after being in a meeting all day long. Jeremy decides to go to the hotel and see if her can get a massage, luckily for him, they had a cancellation so he is able to get in. Then we meet Grace! Grace is the one that ends up giving Jeremy a message that he won't soon forget. Grace is just good at her job. Jeremy had Grace all flustered and she forgot to tell him to be sure and drink lots of water after the message so that the toxins will flush out of his system. Well, Jeremy decides to head to the bar and the beers that he consumes has more of an effect on him than they should and he becomes very light headed. Grace walks in and is able to help Jeremy get to his room, which so happens to be on the same floor and right across from his room! What are the odds?

Grace informs Jeremy that she has been done wrong by her ex as well. Grace is trying to get out from under some of the debt he left her by working 2 jobs. Grace has also decided to do a clean eating diet and clean sexual living for 6 months. This is supposed to help you be able to connect to others more emotionally and Grace is giving it a go after reading a book on it. This is month 3 for her. Although Jeremy is bummed to hear this, it does not deter him from wanting to see and spend more time with Grace.

When Grace and Jeremy meet up again the next day, they run into Jeremy's ex along with her producer. When Grace's clean eating diet and living book falls out of her bag, Jeremy's ex thinks that it is fascinating and wants to do a story on it. Grace is not so sure about it at first and talks it over for a little bit with Jeremy. When he assures her that it is a good idea, she goes for it. With Jeremy being so supportive, Grace is confident that she is making the right choice. Grace has to date different guys in the contract and the dates will take place at the Ale House. Jeremy is for sure going to be there. You need to read this story for yourself to see what happens with Grace, the dates and Jeremy. I am not going to give away any spoilers!

This was just a great overall read with the characters very relate able and with the humor added into the mix, it keeps your attention throughout the whole story. I was sad when it came to and end. I can't wait to see what A.J. Pine has in store for us next!
