Another great addition to this ongoing series. Well written with the same humour we have come to expect.
You know what you're going to get with Stephanie Plum, and this no exception. The trademark humour is probably the only saving grace in a series that should have concluded long ago. Same plot, same love-triangle, no character development. Stephanie is a legend of crime fiction, but she's outlived her shelf life.
I have read all of the books in this series so far and must say that I was a little disappointed in this book. It has been a series that i have previously really enjoyed and have found myself itching for the next installment to come out.
I am finding it rather frustrating that there is no character development and it has me questioning whether or not i will continue to read this series. It feels as though the last few books have all been the same and they are really lacking the punch i have come to expect from the Stephanie Plum series.
The books really need a shake up! A plot twist? or a major character to die? just something.
All in all i did find it to be an entertaining read but finished the book feeling disappointed.
Thankyou to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Turbo twenty-three is another great title from Janet Evanovich, I love her writing style and the adventures of Stephanie and Lulu is always a comedic ride of misfortune. Not sure about the love triangle between Stephanie, Joe and Ranger, just pick one and stay with him, preferably Ranger 😊 This one is based around a murder at an icecream factory and Ranger plants Stephanie in the factory as an employee to find out what is going on. Always keeps you guessing and I change my mind quite a few times through the twists and turns. Great read and I look forward to future publications from Janet Evanovich
I adore Stephanie Plum and I have loyally followed her exploits from Book 1. Turbo Twenty Three follows the same formula where there are laughs a plenty and zany exploits and tension between the three, Stephanie, Morelli and Ranger. My wish, dream and desire would be for ONE DAY Janet let Stephanie be with Ranger, I'd love that!
A fantastic edition to the collection, love them, keep them coming Janet!
