Rough and Tumble just didn’t quite meet my expectations, folks. This “new to me” author’s writing didn’t seem to have the right timing or consistency in regards to drama, romance, and engaging dialogue or plot. Simply put, it just felt off a good part of the time, which was frustrating because there were some instances where I was starting to enjoy it. The clear evidence is my weary, fast-forwarding Kindle forefinger, due to skimming over huge portions of it. Yes, for the most part those elements were present, but they were not presented in a consistently engaging, well-written manner. Well, it’s going to be rough, and I’m likely going to tumble over my own words, but here’s my attempt to explain why.

I needed less repetitiveness. If the term “safe” was mentioned one more time, I think I was going to lose it. The ongoing boring inner monologues and main couple back and forth dialog about “safe” and how she needed to be less uptight had me wincing every time that word appeared. Then there was the smexy talk and crass/lusty thoughts/overly lengthy, too numerous steamy scenes that often hijacked the story line completely. This was particularly frustrating, because it was quite some time before an actual emotional/romantic connection developed between them. Yeah, I can’t help it, folks. As an avid true romantic at heart, I need more than just lust between the main couple. At 30% into it, I was still looking for it.

At 33%, a ray of hope came through when Jace was brought to an abrupt halt during their first, almost uninterrupted smexy encounter to pack his pistols and go with Vivienne to rescue her loser sister, Callie. That’s when finally his actions seemed to indicate Vivienne was starting to mean more to him than just a roll in the sheets. He confirms this behavior by starting to step back to give this very indecisive, hand wringing heroine space to decide what she wants.

Btw, I found myself angry at Vivienne for constantly enabling her sister to continue her self-destructive behavior by constantly rushing to Callie’s rescue but not trying to put a stop to it. If nothing else, there should have been some serious reprimands.

At 50% an actual plot kicked in involving gunfire, and the following brief drama had my hopes high the second half would be much better. Well, it didn’t really happen. Vivienne’s introduction to the brotherhood referred to as Haven seemed overly long and unimaginative. By 70%, I was feeling desperate for something significant to happen. The final wrap up felt anything but overly climatic.

Zeke’s HEA is next in book 2. He’s the Haven brotherhood doc that patches them up when things go wrong. Now Axel, the handsome Scottish brogue speaking Haven hunk, had me at hello. He’s the one I would love to see matched with a feisty heroine that could give him a run for his money. Here’s to hoping the writing in the following sequels will be more appealing. I felt in that regard this book did not live up to its full potential.

Title: Rough and Tumble, Series: Haven Brotherhood (Book 1), Author: Rhenna Morgan, Pages: 432, dirty talking hero, too numerous/lengthy/graphic smexy scenes, crass at times, not enough engaging, consistent drama, felt it should have been better, indecisive/hand wringing heroine, want Axel’s story instead, good guy hero with a bad boy reputation.

Book 1 - Rough and Tumble (Jace and Vivienne), 2/1/17
Book 2 - Wild and Sweet (Zeke and Gabrielle), 4/10/17

Jace and Axel had made a promise to each other early in life and became family they then added four other men as time went on and they were all family to each other and the formed “ The Haven” .The six men had checkered pasts but were now a family. A family that will protect each other at any cost to themselves. The men live by their own moral code not always legal. The family does well in the businesses they have Jace has investments in several businesses in Dallas. Most viable ones are two bars he owns. Lately Jace was having trouble with the local drug lord who is trying to do business out of Jace’s club. Also Dallas PD seem to want to check up on Jace and his club. Paul Renner is running for office not a good man and he will do anything to dirty up or ruin Jace’s reputation. Vivienne has a past she wants to forget. Viv now has started an event planning business called Amaryllis Events but business has been slow. Viv believes she has to shed her wild side to make the r business works and must also dress the part of a successful. Businesswoman to make her business work. Viv has a younger sister Callie who lives to party. Then one night Viv gets a call from a drunken Callie that she was in trouble and to come get her. Callie is in the bathroom at one of Jace's’ clubs. Jace then sees Viv for the first time and he senses there is more to Viv and he is determined to be the one to set her free.Jace doesn’t know why but he is drawn to Viv and her safety is a priority. Jace doesn't play games.Jace finds a way to make contact with Viv as Jace will hire Viv to plan an upcoming event for him and his brothers. Jace also hires Viv to clean up his image Jace wants Viv and will find a way to break through viv’s walls and find out her secrets But Viv wants safe and Jace isn’t safe. If Viv lets Jace in he could break her. But as she sees more of Jace and gets to know who he is as well as his family . VIv wants to be part of it if only for a little while.
I liked this story. I loved how Viv took responsibility for her younger sister even though all Callie wanted to do was party. I liked how Jace took five other men and made them his family and their loyalty is true as any blood tie and they would do anything for each other. I think a lot of people wish they had that kind of family in today's world. I liked how Jace got protective of Viv also. I also loved how Viv wanted to be part of Mace’s family even if it wasn’t forever but who could guess how long they would be together she still wanted to be with him and his family. This was just a good read with a good plot that i enjoyed. It went at a good pace and I loved the characters and the ins and outs and I recommend.

I started to read this book only to put it down when a book I had been waiting for forever came out. When I picked this book up again and started reading again, it was good and I could not believe I put it down the first time. This was a good read. I am really glad I picked it up again. The connection these two characters have, as well as the relationship they have, is quite good. The sex scenes are hot. The secondary characters help make the story and are quite interesting as well. I look forward to their stories in the future. The sex scenes were hot. Once I gave this book a chance, I could not put it down. These guys are sexy and a little mysterious. I recommend it!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Oh my! What a story. In spite of the characters being raw and dirty and gritty, they are just too ADORABLE! The best part is that they all have LONG HAIR! I LOVE long hair. And yeah Viv has had a hard life but Jace is there every step of the way to make it better. I love the way he breaks down her walls even though he tries like hell not to be a bull in a china shop. And that is what won my heart. Can't wait to read more about the Haven Brotherhood.

Rough & Tumble by Rhenna Morgan
Haven Brotherhood #1

Fantastic idea for a series, excellent character development, and wonderful story – Loved this book and can’t wait for more!!!

Okay, with that out of the way. Two men, Jack & Axel, made a promise early in life and became “family”. Over the years they have added four other men to their family and formed THE HAVEN. If others are deemed worthy of and in tune with their beliefs then they might be added to the group in the future. These men are all different but have the same principles and are there for one another – no matter what.

When Viv goes to pick up her alcoholic sister at a club she comes face to face with some Jack and some of the other men in The Haven. For some reason he doesn’t understand Jack is drawn to Viv and makes her safety a priority. Jack is intent on getting to know the true personality of Viv and sets out to do so and in so doing the two become a whole lot more than just friends. In addition to the love story of Jack and Viv there are some bad guys to deal with, an alcoholic sister to save and all of the men of The Haven to be introduced to. Jack is a superb book boyfriend and Viv holds her own although her past insecurities poke their heads out from time to time.

This book was a delight to read. I stayed up till 3am and finally had to turn the light off then finish the book the next day. I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in this series and am thankful to NetGalley and Carina Press for the ARC that they gave to me. This is my honest review.

Rough and Tumble was off the charts good! It was creative, fast passed, featured alpha males who toe the line of good/bad and a strong family bond. I went into this thinking that I would like this book okay and quickly found that I could not put it down. It was that good.

Jace's character has so many different dimensions...he's sweet, thoughtful, possessive, loving, brutal, deadly, and has a strong sense of family all rolled into one character. His attraction for Vivienne is instant but he sees beyond her outer beauty and recognizes that she has more layers than what she shows the outside world. Jace, never one to give up on a challenge, decides to make it his mission to set the real Vivienne free.

Vivienne is a self made business woman that is struggling to establish herself in the world event planning world. To do so, she believes that she has to present the perfect image so that she attracts the right clientele. Coming from an abusive background where she was made to be the responsible one well before her time, she doesn't see that she's been hiding her true self. When her chance encounter with Jace leads to something more, she struggles with following her heart or following her dream. It takes her a while but she soon realizes she has to let go to find both!

I loved loved loved everything about this book but most of all the supporting characters. The scenes with family night in the house were absolutely hilarious and I thought Viv's interaction with Jace's mom were priceless. I'm looking forward to the other books in the series because I think Rhenna nailed it with this one!

Oh what a nice little surprise this turned out to be. This author's first time out of the box is quite lovely! If you like the feel of a MC book but ever wonder what it would be like if the Brothers were wealthy and well educated while still keeping that 1% vibe--- then you should take a peek at this book. Jace and his life long friend Axel have established the Haven brotherhood. This group of six men have come from poor and at times uncivilized beginnings. They have recognized in each other a need to rise above and do better. Their focus is to support one another, be the family that they never had, and when necessary, right the wrongs being put upon those less fortunate than themselves. They love their mamas, they support organizations that help disadvantaged kids and they live their lives with no regrets.

Lets add in that each of these guys is super hot, super alpha and a whole lot sweet and melty on the inside. Rough & Tumble is Jace and Viv's story. There paths cross on accident but the pull to be together is too strong to deny for long. Both have some HUGE trust issues. Ultimately, love wins the day!

Very well written. Good flow to the story. Great banter among the brothers. Really steamy s3xy times. A bit of suspense thrown in for fun. Loved. Loved. Loved! Looking forward to more.

Six men, checked pasts, drawn together to help make each other succeed and reach the their full potential…what they become is a family unlike any other.

Jace Kennedy is a strong business man that will bend the rules if it benefits his “Haven Brotherhood” family.

Jace is having trouble with a local drug dealer that has been bringing Dallas Police Department into his clubs and business dealings. On top of that, Paul Renner, a sleeze-ball politician is causing all kinds of media backlash, attacking Kennedy’s business dealings for political gain. To help present a better public appearance, Jace decides to hire Vivienne Moore (event planner) and the woman he can’t get out of his head. He met Vivienne when she rescued her sister from a drunken night at one of his clubs.

Sexual tension through-the-roof, Viv and Jace play at a dance where you know either Viv will be drawn into Jace’s world or she’ll run. Jace will do everything in his power to keep Viv forever.

I have to be honest, the uber alpha, bad boy is getting a little old...UNTIL NOW! Morgan has created a band of six uber alpha, extraordinarily sexy men with checkered pasts but with true HEARTS! You heard me right, Heart. They aren't just tough guys, they will do anything to protect those they love and they aren't afraid to wear that love on their sleeve. I found what I've been missing in all those other stories...you can be tough, you can be a bad ass but you still need to be looking for an equal partnership with the woman that becomes your life (well, that is what i need to be happy with the bad boy character)...and boy does Morgan excel at bring these characters to life. I honestly gobbled up Jace's and Viv's story and can't wait to delve deeper into the Haven Brotherhood family.

Rhenna Morgan has quickly become a respected name within the writing community with her imaginative world building and the depth of the characters portrayed in her various novels.

Ms Morgan's latest series, Haven Brotherhood, is destined to set hearts a flutter with the strong, dangerous and scrumptiously sexy male leads and their single-minded determination to capture and keep the women they know belong to only them.

This first story has everything necessary to keep a reader riveted and awake long into the night, attempting to finish it in one sitting. Good luck putting it down before you reach the last page!

Love this one so much!! It's a great beginning to what should be an amazing new series and I personally can't wait for more. The Brotherhood is currently made up of 6 men. They play by their own rules and go after what they want making no apologies for it. What Jace Kennedy wants is Vivienne Moore. Unfortunately Jace doesn't fit into the life Vivienne. She's trying to walk the straight and narrow to escape her rough childhood and her pull to bad boys. Jace isn't willing to take no for an answer though and will do whatever it takes to change her mind.

I highly recommend this one!

Rough & Tumble by Rhenna Morgan is the first book in her new Haven Brotherhood series. I loved Rhenna Morgan’s other series, and when I started this new series, I was not sure what to expect, as It was a totally different type of series. I am happy to say I loved Rough and Tumble. It had a wonderful, highly sexual romance with a great cast of characters.

Jace Kennedy, our hero, is wealthy, gorgeous, sexy, charming, and he loves to live on the edge. He perfectly fits the rough and tumble description. Jace and his ‘brothers’ own a series of clubs, which is not the average club for just anyone….enter at your own risk. Jace and family also have some enemies, who would like nothing better than to bring them down, at any cost.

Vivienne (Viv) Moore, our heroine, also comes from an unhappy childhood. She is trying to build on her new business, as a planner for events. One night, she is desperately called by her wild younger sister, who is drunk at a club. When Viv arrives to take her home, she meets Jace, who will help her with her sister, and though she feels the strong attraction, she quickly leaves. But Jace has already set his sight on the woman who draws his attention, and frankly, she doesn’t stand a chance. Jace is that hot; that sexy and determined to win her over.

What follows is an exciting story with a wonderful romance that will eventually change both of their lives. Viv cannot resist Jace, though she knows that she is over her head. She never grew up in a loving family, and when she starts to meet Jace’s ‘brothers’, and family, she begins to learn what it’s like to be part of a family. As much as the romance is scorching hot, and maybe a bit more than I usually like to read; but the characters and the story line was sensational. The men protect their family, and they will work together to fight off the enemies, including protecting Viv. I loved all the ‘brothers’ and cannot wait for their stories. Axel was one of my favorites. I did not like Viv’s sister, but I am sure we will learn more about her in the future. I loved how Jace immediately knew Viv was the woman he wanted to fill his life, and how he slowly worked on proving to her that she belonged with him, and also building her confidence that his family was nothing like her own. I thoroughly enjoyed Rough & Tumble, and Rhenna Morgan has once again pulled me into another one of her wonderful series. Look forward to the next book, Wild & Sweet.

Adult Romance/"Motorcycle" Club Romance (Overall - Club Romance)

ARC provided for an honest review through NetGalley.

Jace Kennedy is a successful businessman and lives for the challenge. He gets what he wants, right when he wants it. When Vivienne Moore walks into his club to rescue her yet again drunk sister, he lays eyes on her and knows that he wants her.

Vivienne is doing all that she can to make a better life for herself. Coming from nothing, she puts up many fronts to try and succeed in her event planning business. When she encounters the handsome and cunning owner of a local nightclub, Jace, she realizes she is in for a ride. His sight is set on her. She has a lot to learn from Jace, if only she can let her hair down.

Let me start and say, I was very unsure of this book at first. The beginning club scene and alpha male attitude didn't sit right BUT then it happened...BAM...it all came together and I could NOT put this book down! Personally, I don't love all alpha males because sometimes it's just too "caveman" for me but all of that changed when I started to see Jace for who he was and what his true intentions were. He is so much more that a sex driven club owner. He is complex and has a side that I just can't get enough of. To my surprise... I LOVED this book.

Vivienne started off the same. She is obviously not comfortable with herself and it's very apparent. Jace is exactly what she needs to grow and learn to let go...if she allows him too. She was a mystery for me, I think having more backstory on her life growing up would have allowed me to connect with her quicker but I still really enjoyed her character, especially next to Jace.

Once getting past the "introductions" I was able to really enjoy the ride this book provides. There are twists and turns that kept me on the edge of me seat!

The boys of "The Haven Brotherhood" appear to be alpha males, hot and sexy as hell. They are family. Seeing all of them interact together and with Vivienne makes me so excited for what is to come in the next books.

Check out this book - preorder on Amazon here! (Only 99 cents right now for Kindle) - Releases Feb 20, 2017.

This book is raw, gritty and sweet loving. The six men love and bleed for the brotherhood and follow there own rules no matter what society expectations. Jace Kennedy is a self made man and he always gets what he wants and that is Vivienne Moore who is hiding a wild side behind a bland socialite. She ends up at his club to drag her party hound sister out of the club which puts her in the line of jace the clubs badass and dangerous sexy owner. The more time she spends with him the more she sees he loves like he fights. He will show her the safest place is being in his arms. I would recommend this book to everyone.

I debated on whether or not to request this book for review when I read the blurb on Netgalley. On the one hand, I do like my alpha heroes and can’t resist when they form a big alpha group and do lots of alpha stuff together. On the other hand, was I ready to get into yet another series of six or more books? Hmmmm….. In the end after seeing excitement for this book on Twitter I decided to go ahead and give it a go.

Let’s see if I can give you guys a quick run down on The Haven Brotherhood. There’s Jace, who happens to be the hero of Rough & Tumble, who is the owner of a nightclub, but also a lawyer who doesn’t practice, but has his hands in all kinds of money-making pies. There’s Zeke, who is a trauma doctor and an extreme sports fanatic. Trevor, a cowboy and a pilot. Beckett, who is a security expert and apparently a muscle-bound hottie. Knox who I don’t know much about yet other than he’s a hacker and a sexy nerd. And last, but certainly not least, Axel, the Scottish best friend of Jace who is incredibly charming and an original member of the Brotherhood. I’m not sure what brought all these men together, just that they consider themselves family and they seem to have both legitimate and not so legit businesses. They occasionally operate outside of the law and have no qualms doing so. They are larger than life, have a shit ton of money and other than Axel and Jace’s moms, haven’t welcomed any women into their tight-knit chosen family. There are hints that each man has had a tough upbringing and needed the safety the Brotherhood provided, but other than a scene where Jace’s mom tells Vivienne how Jace got a scar, I’m not exactly sure what those backstories are or of the hows and whys the Brotherhood came to be. I’m assuming we will learn more as the series progresses.

Now let’s talk about the heroine of this book. Vivienne has gotten over her shitty childhood (mostly) and is determined to make something of herself and her party planning business. If only she can stop her sister from partying too much and inevitably calling Vivienne to come rescue her. After one such 911 call Vivienne goes to a club owned by Jace and the Brotherhood, where she finds her sister hopped up on drugs and alcohol locked in the bathroom. Which happens to be right across the hall from an office where Jace is half-naked and getting stitched up by a good-looking doctor. He spies her across the hallway and an instant attraction is born. BUT WAIT! He knows he might be a little too scary for her, and he’s right. Jace scrambles Vivienne’s brain with his alphahotness and slightly overbearing personality. Nevertheless, she finds herself agreeing to spend time with him when he does his best to manipulate it so that she suddenly has more work than she can handle, and all of it revolves around businesses Jace has dealings with.

Okay, you might be thinking, maybe this guy is a typical alphahole. He is and he’s not. Jace is definitely intense and in the vein of so many other romance heroes, comes across as a bit much at times, but he’s also protective and sweet. I liked him. I liked him and Vivienne together. He pretty much does what he wants first and then apologizes later when he realizes he might have fucked up, but I never sensed that he did those things for any other reason than to protect both Viv and his family. Also, he’s a bit of a dirty talker and we all know how much I love those. He and Vivienne have an intense relationship that moves fast in some areas, and slower in others. I did like Jace’s determination to set all of Viv’s worries at ease. As they are navigating their way through an intense new relationship they also have to deal with a drug addicted sister, trouble in the clubs, gun shot wounds, and one congressional candidate who has a long-standing grudge against our hero. All good stuff.

This book was so cracky. I did not want to put it down. Each of the brothers are fleshed out enough that I’m already looking forward to each of their stories. I can’t wait to find out more about these guys and what brought them all together in the first place. I definitely need more Axel. As I’m writing this review I’m already 50% into the second book, Wild & Sweet, which I believe has a release date of April 10, 2017. I simply couldn’t help myself. It was sitting on my Kindle and I didn’t want to leave this world quite yet. And so far it’s even better than book one.  So rest assured, this series only gets better. Final Grade- B-

Rough & Tumble is sort of a motorcycle club romance but without the motorcycles. If that sounds confusing, Rough & Tumble sort of was confusing. Jace Kennedy belongs to the Haven Brotherhood and he considers them his family. They have a house together, own businesses together and don’t always pay attention to the rule of law – hence the resemblance to the motorcycle club.

Vivienne Moore meets Jace when she goes to pick up her reckless sister after a night of drinking at the Haven’s bar. Jace is wow-ed by Vivienne and decides he wants her, and he is used to getting what he wants. He goes after her full throttle but Vivienne is trying to live on the straight and narrow and stay away from bad boys like Jace. She’s crazy attracted to him too and has a secret rebellious side that Jace taps into; therefore, Vivienne has a hard time resisting his rough, sexy charm. When trouble from the Haven’s business follows Jace and affects her, she fears her worst fears are realized – Jace is too bad for this good girl.

The biggest problem with Rough & Tumble was the Haven Brotherhood, because it just didn’t make a lot of sense the entire book but was a big part of the story. This distracted from the romance that was otherwise fairly entertaining, a little bit sweet and a touch of spicy.

I don’t normally hand out advice. This one time... I must. Don’t start Rough & Tumble if you are exhausted, sleep deprived or hung over. If you’re in any of these states, then you might find this book boring. Then you would seriously hate yourself for missing an excellent read.

The title alone told you what you were in for. You would be introduced to two strong and determined characters. When describing Jace, the phrase “Don’t judge the book by its cover” came to mind. That was so true. Jace who was trying to overcome his past, but it’s hard to do when you have an enemy in a place of authority. But Jace didn’t let that stop him from succeeding and he does it in style.

Now with Vivienne, the words that best described this character are loyal, door mat, and determined. Even though loyal and door mat went hand in hand. Especially when it involved her sister. Her sister was a total mess and it was again Vivienne who had to basically cater to her needs.

The story was a tale of perseverance and determination. A nice steady pace with well-developed characters and secondary characters that you will fall in love with.

Rough & Tumble was an excellent introduction to Rhenna Morgan Haven Brotherhood series.

Full review to be published online in early February.

In ROUGH & TUMBLE, Vivienne Moore is trying to escape the past and life that she's sworn she'd never be a part of. There are a few issues with that though. Her sister constantly getting drunk, in trouble and needing rescuing doesn't exactly help that issue. While coming to her sisters rescue yet again, Viv is literally thrown off kilter when she meets Jace. He’s the owner of the bar her sister was rescued from and clearly the leader of the fine men who helped her get back to her car. When she's forced to accept help getting her sister home, she has no idea that it's just the beginning of Jace's alpha protectiveness.

Jace Kennedy is not used to being so enamored by a woman, but that's exactly what happens when he can't help himself but to watch the video monitors following Viv around his bar. And when he sees that she needs some help, he jumps right in to rescue her, whether she want it or not. Instead of letting the one time chivalry go, he pursues Viv with a passion; one that ignites the senses and leaves the reader panting for more.

Jace Kennedy is not used to being so enamored by a woman. However, that's exactly what happens when he can't help himself watching the video monitors, following Viv around his bar. When he sees that she needs some help, well, he jumps right in and rescues her, whether she wants it or not. Instead of letting the one time chivalry go, he pursues Viv with a passion…one that ignites the senses in more ways than one, and leaves the reader panting for more.

ROUGH & TUMBLE is the first book in Rhenna Morgan's intriguing new “Haven Brotherhood” series.

Hot, sexy, and dirty in all the best ways! A woman who is trying her hardest to stay away from all things fun, dangerous, and wild is seduced by a man who lives by his own rules. He shakes up her carefully organized world and shows her that sometimes letting your hair down and letting loose is the best course of action. 4/5 stars.

Summary

There are certain rules that the six men in the brotherhood live by: Live Hard, F*ck harder and follow only their own rules. They only have their own standards to live by, which differ from society and law enforcement at times. They don’t make apologies to anyone and they protect each other no matter what. Vivienne is determined to save her sister, who has gone off the deep end of partying, drugs and alcohol. Vivienne has a hard time understanding it, she has always tried to do the right thing even if she keeps a certain “side” to herself and hidden away. But there is one person that seems to see beneath the surface of her prim and proper self…Jace Kennedy. Jace lives by his own rule and will do anything to protect his brothers. But upon meeting Vivienne, he sees something in her that he is instantly drawn to. Vivienne has spent her whole life avoiding the kind of life that Jace lives, but the more time she spends with him, the more she starts to soften toward him and slowly feels herself falling in love with the “forbidden”…
Plot and Story Line

Rough and Tumble is the first book in a stunning new series by Rhenna Morgan. I have to say that at first I was reluctant to read this because I never know how a author can handle change in genre but this talented lady rocked it and I fell in love with just about everything about this book. It was a quick and fast read and I read it in only a couple of hours. I adored seeing the way this romance was established. And it wasn’t quite what I expected. From reading the blurb, it kinda sounds more like a MC oriented romance, that is more rough and gritty. Now it has some toughness and gritt to it but not quite in the way you would expect at all and that is what blew me away. Is the grittiness came in small ways that slowly pulls you in and before you realize it you can’t put it down because the story just wraps around you in warmth and affection. The smexy scenes that this author places in this story are exactly what I love seeing in a romance. Not overly explicit at all….however they are beautifully written with a touch of poignancy to them. What was also so wonderful was seeing the bond between the six men in the brotherhood. They tease each other, play with each other and protect and defend each other. They literally have such a close knit family bonds here. And even though at first they don’t bring out the “welcoming committee” for Vivienne but they slowly warm up to her. And once they do, yeah I was completely hooked. What really won me over was the way that Jace and his “family” show our heroine what it means to be part of a real family and to let herself be who she wants to be and not what is “expected”.

You got to live life full throttle so there are no regrets when it’s time to cash in

Rhenna Morgan has created six bad boys that are sexy and charming as hell and I only want “MORE”!! If you want a refreshing and stimulating bad boy romance….then Rough and Tumble is your ticket. So come and enjoy this entertaining show.
The Cover

Interesting cover, it definitely portrays the ‘bad boy” image but it has a slight cartoonish feel to it almost. Maybe its just me, but I love the warm woodsy colors used.
Overall View

Rough and Tumble is a fresh and exciting bad boy romance that is packed with sizzling chemistry, endearing characters and a love story to tug at the heart strings. A TRUE PLEASURE TO READ
