I must say Heather impressed me with her book, it’s the first from amongst her works that I’ve read and I must say I enjoyed it. She tackles an issue very must prevalent amongst us today, sadly, how our underlaying issues can cause us to sideline them and alternatively resort to extreme measures.

I’ve really enjoyed all of Wardell’s previous books and this one doesn’t disappoint. Can’t wait for the next one.

WOW - loved this book. It was a heavy topic and at times I wondered if I would like Valerie and while I thought I would not, I did. Emotional book and one that you cannot put down.

WOW! This book was a moving tale of everything that Valerie did to escape her battle with survivor’s guilt. What a different (and heavy) topic to touch on, which left me wanting to keep reading. The subtle touches of romance added flavor to the main story line. The most important reminder is that until someone realizes they need help, all help offered will go through one ear and out the other.
