Not a book I would be able to cook with. Ingredients were not as typical as I hoped and flavor combinations didn't look good.

Great gardening cookbook with beautiful photography and unique, appealing recipes. Really liked the way the photography inspires both the gardener and the chef in me! Wonderful book.

This is a beautiful offering of love and respect for cooking vegetables at their peak of freshness to bring out the best of each offering. The author has an obvious passion for presenting food at its finest. The book goes into great detail as to which method with which ingredients will showcase the vegetable to its finest. The author has paid his dues working in fine dining establishments both here and abroad and also working on the farm growing perfect vegetables. The 225 recipes take vegetables in their peak season from raw dishes, to grilled, to baked , and everything in between. Most of all the book imparts a wealth of knowledge with step by step instructions to give the reader a platform for creativity. This is a wonderful book and I look forward to learning from it.

A lovely book filled with photographs of both fresh ingredients and the resulting recipes made from them. Seems very well written and carefully researched. Unfortunately I couldn't find any recipes that really appealed to me.

A very ambitious book that delivers. The pictures and material arrangement is well thought out and the recipes look delicious.
