Was able to find this book and do a review. Luke a former Delta operator comes to Emma's aid as she is apprehending a bounty jumper. the banter back and forth between the two main characters really makes for a good story.

Into the Firestorm is a nice quick and enjoyable read.
This is the third & final book from the Boss Inc (spectacular) series. Fireworks explode between Luke and Emma, there are lots of twists & turns.. and it was a thoroughly enjoyable read!
Putting together two complete opposites with the same end point creates a well crafted and multidimensional story. This is Ms Martin’s story telling as its finest.
Emma and Luke were captivating in their oppositely achieved yet mutual goal. As their story develops and evolves, I completely found myself invested in their success as well as in them and their chemistry. They perfectly complimented each other and were a couple I would like to see again in a future story.
This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.
Former Delta Luke meets Emma when she captures a wanted bail skipper. He gets drawn into her quest to find an escaped rapist threatening her family. ARC from NetGally. Review on GoodReads.
Once again, Kat Martin has written an amazing romantic suspense. I'm loving the BOSS, Inc series - possibly even more than her previous books, but it's a real toss up. I've been eager for Luke to get his own book since he showed up. There's just something about him. While sometimes authors build up a character and then it falls flat when they get their own book.. there's no risk of that here. Luke remains absolutely amazing, and he's really met his match with Emma, who is an intriguing character in her own right. She's tough, driven, and strong - just how I love my heroines.
This was a one-sitting read for me. The story was dark, thrilling, and definitely kept me in suspense the whole time. There were enough plot twists to keep me guessing, and enough action to keep me on the edge of my seat. I can definitely see myself re-reading this in the near future, and I can't wait to see what gems pop up the second time around.
As I said, Kat Martin has given us another amazing read. I can't wait for the next one!
Into the Firestorm by Kat Martin
One event changed Emma Cassidy’s life and she is determined to find and get justice.
Rudy Vance murdered the housekeeper and tried to sexually assault her young niece and he is determined to make sure that he and Ginny, Emma’s niece, will be together, forever. And so begins Emma’s quest to bring Rudy to justice. She has taken the time to get her bail bond licence, learn to shoot a gun and all manner of other skills she needs to capture this man. In the course of looking for information, she comes up against Luke Brodie.
Luke Brodie is a feared bounty hunter. Most people quiver when he starts asking the questions. He admires what Emma is able to achieve with the smaller fish but she should move aside while he retrieves Rudy. Luke doesn’t work with others or a partner. Emma tells him in no uncertain terms that she will find Rudy regardless, so Luke takes the approach that they can put their information together to find Rudy, and he can protect Emma. Then in one scary moment, the pair make a momentous decision, to share a bed while the case is active.
Luke and Emma get beaten up, shot at, chased, and close other operations while they try to find Rudy. The other thing they have to do is to find the mole in the FBI’s program, the one who is feeding information to Rudy.
There is a lot of action and suspense in this story. It does move quickly with new clues and information appearing. It is often hard in these cases to give more information about the story as it will give away some twists and turns that the reader should discover for themselves. I really enjoy Ms Martin’s suspense stories as they keep me turning the pages to find the final outcome. Importantly, the suspense aspect does not override the relationship. A great read.

As always Kat Martin knocked it out of the park. Such a great story.
Great story from Kat Martin. This story is fantastic. The interaction between Luke and Cassidy will keep you interested. I loved how the story evolved. Cassidy never gave up her mission, she was determined to find the monster who hurt her niece and Luke is after the same monster for the great bond. I am looking forward to the next book in the series, I hope it continues the high standards created in this book. If you like funny and intelligent hero and heroine, you should definitely give this a try.
Book three of the BOSS INC Series; “Into The Firestorm” is my favorite of the series so far. Mr. Bounty Hunter, Luke Brodie meets Ms. Bounty Hunter, Emma Cassidy.
Two fiery individuals, brought together by a common evil, Luke and Brodie work together to bring justice to the victims. A bit more edgy, a tad scary and a lot more sizzle and passion, Luke and Emma go one hell of a ride to catch Rudy Vance before he can destroy another girl’s life and the only way to get Emma’s family back together.
Luke Brodie is one of Kat Martin’s brilliant characters with his deadly hunting skills as well as loving skills. With a dangerous mob gunning for Emma and with the fear of losing his heart to her, Luke would become a monster in his wake to keep Emma safe.
Emma Cassidy’s only motivation in becoming a bounty hunter is to get rid of evil like Rudy Vance who destroyed her family. Having Luke as a partner is a godsend as well as a bullet to her heart. Matching step to step with Luke, and holding her own against any threat, Emma will sacrifice everything to bring her family together.
With the Brodies and inmates of BOSS Inc. making appearances, and with secondary characters giving sustenance to the story, Kat Martin weaves another dazzling romantic suspense that enthralls the readers.
Kat Martin can be a hit or miss for me sometimes but she can always be relied on to make her romances steamy. I would recommend this to anyone who is already a Kat Martin fan or who would like a steamy, well written romance.
Great suspenseful romantic story about Luke and Emma two bounty hunters who come together to find a man who raped Emma's niece., Kat Martin always captures your attention with the suspense and keep you there thru out the book. Kat brings characters from previous Boss Inc books into the new books without making you feel like your are missing something if you haven't read the previous book.
Excellant Kat Martin book. The plot is well thought out and the characters are great
Into the Firestorm by Kat Martin is the third book in the Brodie Operations Security Services or BOSS Inc series. I have read the other books and loved them, however each book can be read on their own. Emma has spent months training to be a bounty hunter to find the killer/rapist that is after her family. I love Emma’s character. She was the perfect blend of kick butt, intelligent and feminine. I enjoyed the scene in the bar where she takes down the men twice her size. But it is also a realistic book and things do not always end well for her fight scenes.
Luke is a legend in the bounty hunter world. When Emma meets the man she has idolized sparks soon fly. Luke was also special forces and feels that he cannot have the life his brothers have because of some of the things he has done. The two team up when they realize they are after the same man. The scenes between them are sizzling.
For fans that have read the series, there is a special treat that the men and women are involved in this book too. Kat knows how to make the sparks fly. I also appreciate the fact that the men and women are attracted to more than just their looks. Don’t get me wrong, Luke is a very fine specimen and he notices and adores Emma’s physical attributes but he also appreciates her drive, determination and skills.
Sexual content: several physical scenes, described in detail,
Violence: several deaths, someone is raped (past), fights, bombs, mafia, scenes are not described in detail

Into The Firestorm delivered everything I’m looking for in a Romantic Suspense story. Action packed, totally despicable villain, and a couple that totally fits together like a well worn glove. And I must confess that I absolutely adore the BOSS, Inc group. Having the chance to run into favorite characters from this series is always a bonus for me.
Luke and Emma are after the same skip – for vastly different reasons. When the decision is made to pair up in the search, each may work well with the other – but they each want to be the one to take this piece of crap down. While Emma had a bit of hero worship for the image of bounty hunter Luke, she was unprepared for his effect on her. To have this amazing man look at her with that unique look in his eyes was more than she expected. Luke has always been a no commitment kind of guy. He’s seen too much, done too much to ever feel that he’d be good husband, family material although that was what he truly wanted. For him, Emma was the one, and he couldn’t imagine walking away – so they had a bad guy to take down, and a life to get on with together.
If you haven’t started the BOSS, Inc series yet, I would highly recommend that you get started on that. Some may say that each book is a stand alone in an ongoing series, and I suppose that’s true to a point. Still, characters cross over, show up where you’d least expect them and add to the overall feel of the series. If given the chance, I’d start at the beginning and enjoy each book along the way.
I would definitely recommend this story and this series to any reader who enjoys Romantic Suspense, kick butt heroes and heroines, a nasty villain to take down and action packed scenes. Kat Martin delivers a fantastic series, and you’ll want to enjoy each story.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
I was in the mood for a romantic suspense and this hit the spot. Luke is a partner in BOSS with his brother, cousins and good friend. He is ex military and is the bounty hunter they send out after the difficult cases. He's hunting a man who is a rapist/murderer. Emma is a novice bounty hunter who is after the same man because his violence directly effected her life. When Luke and Emma meet up it's immediately chemistry. They decide to partner up to catch the bad guy and the story takes off from there.
This author is one of my favorites in this genre and I thought this was a good as her books usually are. It was fast paced and entertaining and the couple has smoking hot chemistry.
This is the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone. I actually haven't read books one and two but will definitely be going back and doing so.

Brodie Operations Security Service, Inc. or BOSS, Inc. for short is a Seattle based security company run by (duh) the Brodies. In book three we find that Luke as finally met his match, who better for battle jaded tough guy Luke to fall in love with than a jaded tough girl out for revenge. I think I liked this one better than the other two, Emma is such a strong character and so determined to do what she has to do. If you have read the previous two books you have seen (well, read) Luke in action so you can imagine his surprise when a petite curly haired woman with some serious curves takes out a bail jumper all on her own. Luke hopes they aren't after the same guy, but when she shows up asking questions about the same guy he's looking for he realizes she doesn't know just how much in over her head she is, and even though their are reasons he never takes on partners he would rather her work with him than on her own and the sexual attraction is not helping the matter.
Emma was all set to be a teacher, but after her niece's rape and the rapist jumped bail and disappeared. Emma stopped everything and for the better part of the last year she has been working out, training, and studying to be a bounty hunter. In her research she has read up on Luke Brodie, she admires him for the bounty hunter he is and for being able to get anyone he goes after. But when she finally meets him she is hit unexpectedly with attraction. Despite all the warning from everyone to not get sexually involved with Luke, and even though Luke knows better and that she deserves better than him they give in to the attraction. They tell each other that it's will just be until the job is over then they will go their separate ways but of course it never works out that easily. When Luke finds out that Emma has plans to kill the guy he is willing to do anything to protect her from having to do that.
Overall, it was a really good suspense. Kat Martin is great with the action and fight sequences. Luke and Emma fit like puzzle pieces they just fit perfectly together.
If you love romantic suspense and great books, then I would recommend "Into the Firestorm". Kat Martin tells a story with great detail of romance, continuity of previous books, family camaraderie, and a book that will keep you reading to the HEA. It must be said that each book is a stand alone, but when you start reading about the Brody clan, you will become engrossed in other books in the series of this family! I will admit that romantic suspense is my favorite genre, but Emma and Luke were hot and a great couple that was just fun to read about. Emmas is not a pushover, but a person in her own right and Luke must come to grips with that. A confirmed playboy and bounty hunter, Luke has met his match in Emma. If you haven't read any of the books in the series, no problem, each is a complete story and stands on its own, but will have you waiting for the next one or reading the other great books in this series. I would like to thank NetGalley and Zebra at Kensington books for gifting me with "Into the Firestorm" and asking for my honest opinion. This is mine. 5 Stars!
Drew me in from page one…I liked Emma “M” Cassidy and Luke Brodie. I felt that their strengths and characters were well matched and the way they grew together as a couple was interesting to watch. The fact that they were there for one another when out bounty hunting or when off the clock worked and as time passed I saw them more and more as a couple as they supported and cared for one another. The development of their characters, their back stories and their time together seeking out the bad guy all flowed easily and made me hope for the HEA that made the ending perfect for me. I love this author’s books and this one was exactly what I expected and hoped for
