I have always been a huge fan of Ms. Martin, and once again she comes up with a great book.
Into the Firestorm is the 3rd book of her series, BOSS, Inc. A security services company founded by Luke Brodie’s cousin and where he , his brothers and additional cousins all work. Luke Brodie is an ex Delta Forces, now a well respected bounty hunter. He is on the hunt fof Rudy Vance, a rapist, killer and less than stellar citizen. He meets Emma Cassidy, by chance while she too is in search of Rudy. Emma was a school teacher, but after Vance raped her young niece, and killed a housekeeper, she became a bounty hunter with the sole purpose of getting Rudy Vance.
The two team up in search of Vance. Luke , known as a womanizer and a solo bounty hunter, is attracted to Emma and she is too him. He feels the only way to keep her safe, is to team up with her.
The plot is full of twists and turns, evil people, suspense, betrayal, human trafficking , and of course romance. Never a dull moment.
But beyond that, it’s about loyalty and honor. How the experiences of a man who was an honorable and dedicated soldier, sees himself . How in the blink of an eye lives are changed but also, that hope , love and dedication can heal the soul and the heart. A book worth reading and one that you will remember for a long time. Kudos to Ms Martin for another great story.
I was gifted this book by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Emma is my idol. She can lay down the law with an iron fist and still look good doing it. That's the mark of a strong heroine. I nicknamed Into the Firestorm, the battle of the dueling warriors. Not only were Luke and Emma in a battle of the sexes, they were also fighting an attraction while risking their lives at every turn. With similar personalities, they share honor, pride and loyalty but secrets drive both and vengeance could prove the deciding factor in their budding relationship. With Into the Firestorm, Ms. Martin packs on the heat while delivering an adrenaline rush. Entertaining, action packed and a role model any woman can be proud of.

Into the Firestorm by Kat Martin was a thrill ride from start to finish.
Luke Brodie and Emma Cassidy are both bounty hunters looking for the same man; but not for the same reasons. Luke is broken but seems to have accepted his life as it is. Emma has worked hard to become a strong and kick ass bounty hunter to right a personal wrong. Both of these characters were complex and this added so much as their relationship developed. We also got to visit with some of the characters from the previous books as well.
The plot moved swiftly and there more twists than the usual romantic suspense to keep me turning the pages. Romance, suspense, human trafficking, action and the Japanese mafia all tangled together to make a book that was impossible for me to put down.

Brodie is a seasoned bounty hunter but he's never seen anything like the way petite Emma can take down a man. Em, a new bounty hunter, is looking for the man who ruined her niece's life. Brodie works alone but for some reason he can't explain, he helps Emma with her quest and they become closer. Great backstory, hot romance, strong heroine, and alpha male. More please!

Excitement and adventure surround Luke Brodie and Emma Cassidy as they track down fugitive Rudy Vance. For Luke as a bounty hunter this is business and even though he normally refuses having a partner, he can't turn teaming up with fellow bounty hunter Emma down when he learns her very personal reasons for wanting to catch Rudy Vance. It has nothing to do with the intense attraction between the two of them....nope, nothing at all!!

These are great characters and the story is very well done. It's a highly entertaining read and I would definitely recommend it.

This is another great book by Kat Martin.
Luke Brodie works with the rest of his family at BOSS INC. as a bounty hunter. He's an ex-military lone wolf bad arse whose feeling out of place being the last of the guys to settle down. He had a dark edge that had him believing that he wasn't worthy at times. His issues played a big part of the story as he continually pushed Emma away for her own good. Man was he stubborn to the end. Emma was a bad arse female bounty hunter in her own right. She was hot on the trail of the psychopathic monster. It was a personal mission for Emma. She was determined to take out the threat to the only family she had left. Luke and Emma partnered up for the mission and it was obvious they had an electric chemistry that couldn't be denied no matter how hard they fought it.

I loved Luke and Emma and how perfect they were for each other. They were both stubborn as a mule and never backed down from their common goal. Emma was determined to do whatever neccessary to keep her family safe. Luke would do whatever it took to keep Emma safe. As usual, with a Kat Martin book, the writing was excellent. The romance was super hot with two people who knew they were probably going to end up with a broken heart but they still couldn't fight their feelings. Their journey together was explosive. There was a lot of suspense and action and surprises thrown into the story.

I loved this book and can't wait for the next book, Beyond Reason.

Kat Martin always draws me into her stories and I LOVE the BOSS, Inc. books. Luke is my kind of H and Emma (Em) was the kind of h we would all like to be. All the BOSS, Inc. guys are hot but it seems like with each book they get hotter. The book was a fast read because I could not seem to put it down. I hope there will be more BOSS, Inc. books ..... I love catching up with the characters in the previous books...I also want to hear more of Luke and Em.

Emma is a former teacher turned bounty hunter, but she is only looking for the man who raped her niece. Luke is the super-bounty hunter who is a rogue...you know the type. He, too, is looking for the same man as Emma.

Naturally, the meet up, Luke is intrigued, and they begin working together. The book is not going to surprise anyone, but it's so enjoyable that the lack of originality is easily overlooked. I put this on par with other Kat Martin books -- fun reads that fill a couple of evenings, strong enough to keep you reading her again.

I always love breaking up reading contemporary romance with romantic suspense, and Kat Martin never disappoints. Luke Brodie was an awesome alpha bounty hunter who is determined to never be in a relationship. Enter Emma, teacher turned bounty hunter, who's only trying to get her family back, and you get to see Luke fall hard. I was at the edge of my seat at times, and then had tears in others. Another great story in the BOSS series.

Another hot book in the series. Emma has only one mission and that is to find the man that raped her niece and killed a family friend. She is on his trail, it has been a long hard journey and she won't give up until he is dead. Luke is after the same man but he is doing it for the money and he will get his man and Emma is just going to get in the way. Emma won't allow him to push her out, she can help him.
They team up together but their attractions gets in the way and they both know that this is only for now and once they find their man, they will walk away. Well that is the plan.
Emma knows that she can trust Luke with anything and she knows that he can keep her safe and that he will be there until the end. Luke can't do this, he can't get too attached to Emma, he isn't the man for her, he can't do happy families.
Do they ever have a change after everything is done or will Luke run and leave her behind?
Full of action, steamy sex and just a great read.

Emma Cassidy is tough. She’s decided to find the man who raped her niece and killed her sister’s housekeeper. She’s worked hard training to become a bounty hunter. Hard enough to impress even cynical, highly accomplished Luke Brodie. It’s great that Martin had Emma take the time and effort to make herself capable of hunting down a monster. It’s also impressive that Luke is attracted to Emma’s capable handling of herself in tough situations.

Luke agrees to work together with Emma not only because they can help each other but because he finds her fascinating. It’s no surprise the two end up together and I was glad to see it happen.

While the story was predictable, it was both entertaining and suspenseful with interesting characters and intrigue.

Emma Cassidy has trained for several months to become a bounty hunter and the person she is hunting is the reason she has obtained her P.I. license. Her niece was raped and is now being stalked by Rudy who was out on bail and now can't be found. Rudy has an informant in the FBI and keeps finding Emma's niece who is in witness protection. Emma runs into Luke Brodie who is also hunting Rudy for the bounty. They end up helping each other and unbeknownst to them there is a bigger player involved who is helping Rudy escape notice. They end up locating the informant and end up in a fight for their life and for love. Kat Martin does it again, whether it's historical romance, contemporary romance or suspense romance she keeps the reader engaged and riveted with suspense and steamy sex scenes.

Another BOSS book by Kat Martin. Another alpha male and a tiny, tough woman who can hold her own and doesn't need an alpha male to lean on. Luke Brodie is a loner and works alone until he's partnered up with the firecracker teacher, turned bounty hunter Emma Cassidy who has her own agenda hunting a criminal who has hurt her family. The two team up to find this evil man and discover that not only do they need each other to accomplish this feat, they need each other to be happily ever after. Love all of Kat's books.

Kat Martin has written another installment of her Into series which I have
thoroughly enjoyed. Luke Brody, bounty hunter extraordinaire, runs into Emma
Cassidy as they both are looking into leads to catch a fugitive bail jumper. For
Emma, this is a very personal case. She has given up her job as a teacher to
become a bounty hunter for the sole purpose of capturing one man. Luke
appreciates her dedication and decides to help her find the missing perpetrator.
Emma had admired Luke from afar as she was learning to become a bounty
hunter and he didn't disappoint her after their meeting.

I must say that I have a personal issue with full molestation in a romance book--
especially involving a child. The complete act was not necessary to portraying
the villain as a heinous individual. Just his thoughts and trying to do it should
have sufficed for a romance.

There were some characters who seemed to be thrown into the book with no
purpose at all. They may reappear in a future book but I would have left them
out if there was no plan to do some character development on them.
I gave the book a 4-Star rating because Ms. Martin is able to tell a story that is
fast-paced and thrilling with good character development of the main two
characters.

Into the Firestorm by Kat Martin is the 3rd book in her Boss Inc. series. Even though being the 3rd book in this series, This reads very well as a standalone, as we get to meet the previous members of Boss Inc.
Emma Cassidy is our heroine, and we meet her at the start. A flash from the past, shows Emma arriving home to find her housekeeper murdered and her niece, Ginny terrified. In current time, Emma’s sister and niece are now in the witness protection system, to protect them from the sister’s ex boyfriend, who is obsessed with her daughter, having raped her a few years before. Emma is determined to find the culprit, Rudy Vance and stop him from hurting her family again. Emma, is now a bounty hunter, privately searching for Vance; her looks are to her advantage, as she is strong and tough, with the men she apprehends not take her seriously.

Luke Brodie, our hero, was an ex-military, who now one of the brothers who run BOSS, Inc. and he considered the toughest and best bounty hunter. When he sees Emma handle herself to complete the same assignment that he was on, Luke will try to learn more about her. They discover that they are both searching for the same man, Rudy Vance; though for different reasons. Luke because the money is good, and knowing how Vance is evil; and Emma for her own personal reasons.

What follows is an intense exciting action filled adventure where Luke and Emma join hands to work together to find Vance before he finds Ginny. Emma is determined to help Luke every step of the way, and despite his fears for her safety, he knows he can’t stop her. I loved how Emma was such a strong heroine, being able to stand beside Luke as they fought dangerous situations. This was not only an exciting story line, with an evil villain, the FBI and the witness protection played a big part of the story.

Luke finds himself falling hard for Emma, as she does with him. The chemistry between them was scorching hot. But Luke is determined despite his feeling for Emma to let her go when this case was over. He has always thought that due to his violent years in his dark military life, he was too dangerous to ever have a serious relationship and have a normal life. Will Emma be able to convince Luke of her love and to trust her? Will they both survive the evil Vance and save Ginny?

This was a great story that had me turning the pages anxiously, as I could not put the book down. Kat Martin did a great job with this fantastic thriller, and in creating a wonderful couple.

I received a free copy of Into the Firestorm in return for an honest review. The is Luke Brodie's, the last of the Brodie brothers, story. He is full of contradictions and they all come into play when he meets Emma Cassidy. Emma is also full of contradictions. The two make a really great team in a book with a exciting story line. You can feel the connection when the two first meet. From there on it is an exciting ride. This is book three in the Boss trilogy and part of the fun is getting to visit again with some of the characters from the previous books. Into the Firestorm is a great finish to the series.

I love Kat Martin and have for many years. I was excited to see a new book of hers. However, rape does not belong in a romance novel. Ever. It should also be noted in the synopsis so that women are not taken by surprise. So many readers are survivors. When they wish to read something to take them away the last thing they want is something that will give them flashbacks.

Luke Brodie meets his match when he meets Emma Cassidy! I love how Kat Martin takes these big, brawny men of BOSS, Inc. and brings them to their knees when they meet their soulmate.

Emma is on a mission to bring down the man that hurt her family and will not let anything or anyone stop her. When Luke discovers that they are both after the same man and that Emma will not back down he gives in and works with her.

Things heat to a fever pitch between them and the danger comes with it.
