As an Environmental Protection Specialist for the federal government working in the water quality protection program, I am always on the look-out for great texts on water quality protection. I thought Schmidt did a great job of putting a lot of great information together in a succinct format. I would definitely read more books by him, particularly those related to human health and the environment.

Ironically, this is the driest book I've attempted to read in a while. Although I am interested in the topic, the jargon and overly academic writing (reads like a literature review report) were not enjoyable.
