Bound Together wraps up the Sisters of the Heart series as well as tying up some loose ends from the Sea Haven series. I'm sad to leave these series behind but also excited to be introduced to the new series, Torpedo Ink, and the characters populating that world.
I've read this book twice now but I'm still struggling to write a review and I'm not sure why. I'm a huge Christine Feehan fan. Over the last two or so years I've read/listened to almost every Christine Feehan book I could get my hands on. I've really enjoyed the Sisters of the Heart series, I'm currently re-listening to Earth Bound, to show how much I love it.
While all the Sisters of the Heart series have their dark moments - a lot of bad things have happened to both the heroes and the heroines - Bound Together is definitely the darkest. Blythe has been the 'mother' of the Sisters, the caretaker and level headed one, and finally we get to see the past that made her into the woman she is. I liked Blythe even more after learning of her past, the heartache and heartbreak, her huge heart, her capacity to forgive. Viktor was hard to like but easy to understand once you see everything he's endured. He sacrificed so much to protect both the family he was born into and the family he created.
I was engaged in the story from the beginning, cried along with the characters, celebrated with them, shook my head when Viktor did something stupid (he's a serious alpha male who is not used to being questioned or challenged and Blythe is no pushover), and smiled when they finally got their happily ever after. There's lots of action and drama, we get to see all the sisters and all the brothers together and using their various gifts to battle their enemy.
This was probably the darkest hero of the series but it was so good! This was classic Feehan alpha male in action.
Through the whole series you could feel Blythe’s pain at being set apart from her sister’s of the heart, but when you find out that she’s already been claimed by the baddest Prakenskii of them all…..whooo sparks fly.
The tension and passion are through the roof and the story was big and bold and wonderful. I’m sorry to see it all end but it was a terrific ride and finished strong with this novel.
.
It's been awhile since I've read this series, so it took me a few pages to remember what had happened. Once caught up, I was immediately drawn into the action. Each book in the series can be read alone but makes much more sense to read them in order. This finished off another series but left the future wide open to read the stories of Torpedo Ink.
To me the title BOUND TOGETHER is really perfect for this book as all the loose ends of the Sisters series become bound together by ridding themselves of a major enemy not only to the world but to Jackson and Elle, (And giving her the opportunity for a bit of revenge.)
BOUND TOGETHER is emotionally charged, with secrets coming out that will pull at your heart strings, action that will kick in some serious adrenaline, sweet and steamy romance (with some hilarious if a bit embarrassing moments with the "family" but I'll let you read to find out why) and a touch of sadness, knowing that this series has ended.

Blythe has felt lost for the last five years, her stepfather killed, her mother gone and her husband Viktor vanished leaving no clue of where he was. Blythe has just started to come back to feeling like herself when a roar of motorcycles comes to town and there he is Viktor claiming to still be her husband. Viktor knows he shouldn't have left but he left her a very detailed letter and asked that his blood brothers check on her but no one got his messages nor did she get his letter.
When he finally gets her alone he has to explain where he has been and how he has to stop the man and others like him who abused children. Blythe is an empath and she came feel the remorse and hurt leaking from Viktor but she has her own problems and she will have to tell him.
I just loved how this story had so much give and take and consideration between them and his brothers blood or otherwise and hers with her adopted sisters. If they can survive the danger coming at them and work together as a team they may just win.
Viktor and Blythe have to be my favorite couple in this series. This is the last of the Sea Haven Sisters of the Heart series and it is so bitter sweet. I adore this series and sad to see it end, but this was such a beautiful and fitting end to the series. Viktor is my favorite and the most broken of the heroes in this series and has had to withstand so much. Blythe is closed off for a while which is understandable, but she is a great character and one you can't help but root for. This story was absolutely stunning and I while I am sad it is the final, I absolutely loved every minute of reading it. I can't wait to see where Christine decides to go next with her stories.
Bound Together is the final book in the Sea Haven series by Christine Feehan and features Blythe and Viktor. For some reason when I thought of Blythe I thought of someone more mature. No, that's not the right word, older? I'm not sure how to put it. But now that I think about it, that almost motherly personality is exactly what Viktor is counting on right from the beginning.
Viktor Prakenskii has been undercover for five years. He has put his whole life on hold for this one job. His sacrifice, and it is a sacrifice for him, he's not a work-a-holic, puts him into a position to stop one of the worst kind of predators out there. The descriptions of what Viktor and his group go through, as well as what they face on the job is pretty raw. Throughout Bound Together we are constantly brought back to just what all the players have suffered. The abuse that Viktor and Tattoo Ink go through and witness... boy, it was heartbreaking. It has however turned them all into people who do not know how to live in normal society. Viktor is holding a huge burden over Blythe with the hopes that she will help him and the club assimilate back into the world. But he has been gone for five years and has no idea what kind of reception he is going to get from his wife, let alone whether she will be willing to help them. Viktor is the big, bad violent man, but he is also still the boy that was put in that school. To me, he seemed really young, or immature? I don't know how to put it into words. You're probably thinking I'm crazy. That he was one big bad ass man. Well, yes, he was that. I think it may have been his hero worship of Blythe and all that he imagined she was going to do for them that made me feel that way.
Blythe didn't really think she was married, but had not gotten over Viktor in all those five years. When he returns and thinks that he is just going to jump into married life, well, let's just say she is not quite on board. However, there were a lot of circumstances that explained all the miscommunication. The problem is there is a HUGE event that happened after Viktor left and getting over that for the both of them is going to be hard. Her suffering really comes through, as does Viktor's when he learns of the truth.
I really wish I had of read the Drake sisters series now. They played a big part in the showdown with the enemy in Bound Together and I would have liked to know more about their stories. Especially when I found out they are related to Blythe and the role they played (or didn't play) in Blythe's growing up. The fight between the Sea Haven group against the Swords seemed overwhelming at first, and I have to say, I was really impressed with the finality of the fight. Things moved swiftly and you have to really keep track of where everyone is.
Bound Together could be a really hard book to read. There are seriously depraved situations being addressed and reading them can really turn a stomach. It really brings home that things like this happen in the world. It can really sicken a person. The love that comes through and how everyone comes together at the end gives hope for everyone and that brought a smile to my face.
Bound Together took me through a lot of emotions that made me feel for Blythe and Viktor. I did feel like all of the aspects of the book, killing Ethan, Blythe and Viktor's relationship, and establishing the characters of Viktor's crew were nicely balanced. We went for an emotional ride, but I left the book feeling satisfied and with swell in my heart.
Author Feehan takes you to worlds unknown where women truly kick butt!
I’m a die-hard fan of Christine Feehan’s Dark Series. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read all of her 28 books. I savor each one. The community she built totally captivates me.
I’ve read only one other of her books – it was a thriller and scared the beejeezes out of me! It is called Thriller.
I was given the chance to read this book as an ARC by the publisher through Netgalley. I’m so glad I did. I learned something, too. I now know my need to return to book one of the series and learn the story of each of the Drake sisters. They look like a marvelous, inspiring set of women. This world of terror is packed with action, danger, passion and humor, not necessarily in that order.
Feehan’s stories take me to worlds I’ve never experienced. In this particular book she reaches me through her knowledge of pedophiles and what trauma children go through who get caught in its web. It’s a situation very real in this world and therefore an important read, other than extremely entertaining.
The Drake sisters with their power controlling elements and others who use their paranormal abilities to save mankind, remind me of how much I loved Superman and Spiderman as a kid. And through it all, people are brought together, lives are slowly healed and women kick butt!
Evan Shackler-Gratsos is considered the number-one human trafficker. But a village does not one man make. There are many men who are part of this ring and those who use these children are no better. These women, who control the elements, are great role models and I love their spirit, family loyalty and their connection to eradicating just plain bad!
The story is very well-balanced emotionally. Full of dynamic emotions and sensual feelings. Loved it through and through.
If you are a Feehan fan or just starting out in this fantasy world of paranormal, you shouldn’t miss this read.
It was great to finish the sisters, but so much of the book was devoted to setting up the next series that it lost some of the magic that was Blythe finally finding her love. Too many supporting characters and not enough magic.
Feehan’s Sea Haven–Sisters of the Heart series is a direct spin-off her Drake Sisters series. This series is based on six sisters of the heart rather than blood who bonded in tragedy and stayed out of love. Now they all live in Sea Haven with their respective husbands who all happen to be brothers. Bound Together is the sixth and final book in this series that finally introduces us to the last and most secretive Prakenskii brother while laying to rest a series of ongoing long-running storylines that originated from the last book in the Drake Sisters series-Hidden Currents. While this series has a long overreaching arc, the low-level advancement allows for each book to be read comfortably as a stand-alone. Feehan has a gift for recapping that doesn’t feel intrusive and it’s easy to sink into the story wherever you choose to start.
I’ve waited so long for this book. Everything leads back to Sea Haven and the Drake/Prakenskii families. Ever since Elle Drake’s kidnapping and abuse at the hands of a madman, I’ve been waiting to see the confrontation between her husband, Jackson, and the bodyguard/undercover spy, Lev Prakenskii. The series has hinted with every book of the battle that will rage once Jackson and Elle return to Sea Haven from their honeymoon and learn that the man who could have saved Elle now lives on the island with his wife. We also learn that the brother of the man who kidnapped Elle is coming back to settle an old score.
Bound Together picks up where Fire Bound left off. Blythe Daniels has built a life on Sea Haven with her sisters. She is shocked when the man she fell in love with and married suddenly reappears after he disappearing five years ago and is ready to resume a life with her. His claims of a note explaining everything and hidden messages fall on deaf ears. It took Blythe years to put herself back together after Viktor’s disappearance and her mother’s betrayal and she isn’t willing to open herself back up to that kind of pain again.
Viktor Prakenskii is the eldest of the seven brothers. When their parents were murdered and they were separated, Viktor’s time in captivity was the harshest as his compliance kept his siblings alive. He and the only other survivors of the “school’ were trained as assassins and used to extract revenge on anyone who crossed their handlers. Blythe was just supposed to be a means to an end but Viktor fell in love with her. When a friend’s mission is compromised, Viktor is forced to leave Blythe, never suspecting his next mission would keep him away for five long years. Now he’s back. His last mission is to destroy the Swords MC, kill its president, and finally claim his wife.
Bound Together not only ends this series but sets up a possible new spin-off featuring Torpedo Inc-the MC Viktor heads with the men and women who survived Hell with him. As with almost every other character in this series, each person possesses a gift of some sort and has been unbelievably abused. Though this story contains the requisite supernatural elements, action, humor, intrigue, and romance; I found it all very low key. This book is built primarily on emotion. We learn how Blythe and Vikor met and why he left. We learn about Viktor and Blythe’s childhoods. We also learn about his adopted brothers and sisters. Each story point is fueled and saturated with emotion.
I have always had love/hate relationship with Feehan’s heroes. Either they respect and treat their heroine like an equal or they are jerks who manipulate their women to get what their way. Luckily, Viktor is of the former alphas. While there is no denying Viktor, like the rest of the Prakenskii brothers, is an uber-alpha, he adores Blythe and recognizes the strength and intelligence she possesses. She is his everything and all he wants to do find his way home to her.
While Feehan does a good job of introducing us the main protagonists and sets up the main plotline, it takes us about a 20-30% in to get to that point. The beginning is a mess of repetition as we are stuck in Viktor’s head while he figuratively spins his wheels. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times Viktor repeats himself over and over about how he hates leading his brothers into danger, how Reaper is always cold and never laughs, and how he has spent five years trying to kill Evan Shackler-Gratsos. Once Viktor arrives in Sea Haven and we are out of his head, the story settles and the narrative smooths out.
Blythe and Vikor are a well-matched couple even though they aren’t similar or even complementary with their gifts. This second chance romance is the strength of this story. Feehan does a fabulous job of giving this couple a realistic chance at getting back together. Viktor grovels quite well and once Blythe learns the whole story, she forgives him. Their chemistry is off the charts and the love scenes are quite steamy and lush. Seems Viktor (and his MC) have no real boundaries and he coaxes Blythe into reuniting outside quite a lot. *wink*
The main conflict and subsequent subplots fail on multiple levels. I found the inclusion of the new ‘brothers’ and possible spin-off overreaching. The violence and childhood abuse (rape and molestation) is discussed in great detail and I felt these new characters and their issues take the reader out the story quite a few times. Feehan rushes around trying to tie everything up and we end up with Jackson and Lev never have their day of reckoning, Viktor spends almost no time reuniting with his blood brothers, and the battle with the Storm MC and Evan Shackler-Gratsos is over within a few pages. Such a disappointment for any fan who has waited the whole series to see these issues resolved.
While not my favorite in this series, Feehan does end it on a hopeful note that this may not be our final visit to Sea Haven.
RATING: C-
A tear-jerker from start to finish, Bound Together brings all the Prakenskii brothers back together. Of all the brothers, it is Viktor who moves me the most. This is probably because he is the oldest and has to sacrifice the most to keep his brothers safe. Safe in a way that they do not even comprehend and it is clear the baby of them doesn't even care. I am angry reading this book because Viktor did so much for his brothers and they do not seem to return it. There is a little plot device which this story hinges upon that irks me. The miscommunication in this book is one of the ways that drives me crazy because it could have been so easily avoided. However, without it, there would be a lot less conflict in this book and probably less heartache.
Viktor Prakenskii is the definition of stoic. He maintains a stiff upper lip even when he is tortured, beaten and violated. The abuse heaped upon him and the children he grew up with is horrifying. What is sad is that I can see this happening all to easily in some countries. Viktor's ability as a leader to pull together children and fight back is admirable. The fact that he can still hold a type of honour and walk the talk is even more impressive. All his suffering brings him finally to this end game and it is a long time coming. It is so close, his paradise that I can even taste it. What is his end game? A life with his wife, Blythe Daniels.
Now that threw me for a curve ball. Blythe is married to Viktor and yet no one knows, not even his brothers. How can this be? Talk about a dysfunctional family that does not communicate well. Blythe is the mother hen who takes care of everyone. Her chosen sisters look up to her for support. When Blythe falls apart, her sisters step in and lovingly return the support she's given them over the years. This bond of family is something Ms. Feehan excels at demonstrating. She generates a type of yearning to belong and shows how good it can be, to be part of a family. It is also nice to see that life isn't perfect. What happened to Blythe as a child is terrible and I am appalled at both her mother and aunts. I would not be nearly as forgiving as Blythe was. This makes Blythe the perfect match for Viktor because they come from similar backgrounds of neglect and abuse.
The chemistry between Viktor and Blythe is hawt. Of course, Viktor as a motorcycle club enforcer just screams sexy bad boy looking for trouble. For those who enjoy motorcycle clubs, this story brings it in quite nicely. These men and women are the ones who survived their childhood due to Viktor's determination. Their loyalty is unquestionable. Going "legal" is interesting for them and when they come into Blythe's small town, it is explosive. I like it.
The sex in this story is a bit edgier because Viktor is darker. The tone of this story is also darker which I enjoy. This book is filled with angst and just the right kind which feels like a hot knife stabbing into ribs. Viktor's tale moved me and I felt all sorts of emotions which makes this book memorable and enjoyable. Blythe's loving personality to Viktor's darkness is a nice balance that makes these two fantastic together. They get each other and accept each other just as they are. I love it. This paranormal romance is recommended to romantics who love bad boys with hearts of gold.
I don’t want it to end!
Protect. Viktor Prakenskii is the undisputed leader of his blood and chosen family and that has driven every choice he made in his life. In his quest he has had to do many things he is not proud of, that he hated to do. Morally, he saw himself as unforgivable but that didn’t mean he couldn’t hope that the brightest light in his life was not forever out of reach. Blythe Daniels remained the love Viktor coudn’t deny for himself and he was going to do whatever he could to get her back….
“I can’t survive losing you twice.”
Viktor, and his Torpedo Ink brethren, have suffered unspeakable violence starting when they were very young. What they went through is hard to read, really hard to read at times, yet the truth it tells is honest and sets the stage for so much. This family was forged in pain and blood and those bonds are strong as they work together towards their goal of freedom and revenge. To do that, they must swallow their disgust and do what they have to, keeping the bigger prize always in their sights. Collateral damage is common but when Blythe is caught up in it, Viktor is determined to fix what was so unintentionally broken…
“Every minute I was with you was the most real I’ve ever been.”
Part action, part thriller, part paranormal, at the heart of this story is love. Love and compassion for those who suffer and are victimized. Unconditional love for family. And passion and devotion for the love that makes life worth living. Roll that all into a beloved cast of characters – both Drakes and Prakenskiis – and this becomes a powerhouse of heart-pumping suspense and heart-melting emotion. Viktor is unwavering in his devotion to his families and to making up for the pain that Blythe as suffered – at his own hands and others. Their connection is beautiful in its refusal to break despite everything that could have easily torn it forever. This author knows how to create a world that I get lost in each and every time. This time, I just wanted to stay forever…
I hear this is the last story in the Sea Haven series but I am hopeful Torpedo Ink will continue as there are so many more stories untold. There are seventeen brothers and sisters that need, have earned and deserve to have their happiness too. I hope this author agrees!! -Diane, 5 stars
Many readers have been speculating for some time that the mysterious man in Blythe's past is none other than the eldest Prakenskii brother which was finally confirmed in the last book. In this ending book of the series, Ms. Feehan ties in the lose threads from the Drake sister series with the grand reunion of Blythe and Viktor plus as an extra bonus introduces us to a host of new characters who will doubtless get to star in her next spin off.
There are a lot of difficult to read scenes featuring rape, torture and abuse as the back stories of the horrific childhood that Viktor and his fellow survivors of the brutal Russian school is brought to light. This is difficult and dark subject matter so please proceed at your own peril. The heroes in Ms. Feehan's stories are strong dominant men be they Carpathians, leopards or Prakenskii's. Viktor Prakenskii or Czar as his brethren call him fits right in with the biggest and baddest of them. He has survived the most horrific life, some of which is told in most graphic detail that is disturbing to read. He's lived under cover away from Blythe for five years setting up the ultimate sting operation and now it's time for the endgame which happens to be in Sea Haven. It's almost funny how he sees a reality that is so different from the truth when he and Blythe finally meet on the street in Sea Haven.
Only a Neanderthal can expect a woman he hasn't seen or spoken to for five years to fall in line with his plans and act as though the five years apart never happened. Blythe's reaction to Viktor's autocratic expectations when he rides up into her life comes as no surprise to anyone but Czar Viktor Prakenskii. Having been deep undercover Viktor has no clue that Blythe has never received any communication from him after he abruptly left her or that the secret Prakenskii communication channel has been compromised.
With Viktor's appearance in her life, Blythe finally shares her hidden past with her sisters letting us readers into the know as well. When Viktor having eavesdropped on this conversation tries to force the issue with Blythe, she hits the panic button in her house summoning his brothers ready to defend her. Poor Viktor who finally meets his biological brothers after so many years of protecting them from afar across battle lines drawn in their desire to protect Blythe even from him.
Viktor wants Blythe on so many different levels. He wants her help to rescue and mother three young girls he rescues from a slave trading ring as well his brothers and sisters who have survived unspeakable crimes with him in the Russian school he was consigned to as a young child. It's quite humorous to witness Blythe's reaction when these brothers and sisters show up ready to protect Viktor and her in their most intimate moments. It's no wonder that one of the priorities on Viktor's list is soundproofing their bedroom to maintain Blythe's modesty.
As Viktor plans his endgame the Drake sisters and their spouses come together with the sisters of the heart and their spouses along with Viktor's brothers and sisters of the heart. The author does a great job of catching up her readers to all that's being happening in Sea Haven as this large extended family pools all their gifts together to execute Viktor's master plan. Of course there are also lots of hot steamy scenes between Blythe and Victor as is typical of Ms. Feehan's books.
On a personal note overall this is not my one of my favorite books despite the fun in catching up with all the characters and getting a whole new cast of characters some of whom may be very interesting possibilities for future stories.

I enjoyed the mixture of MCs and the paranormal, as it gives the stories a lot more depth. I did have a hard time warming up to Blythe and Viktor, I'm glad they found each other, but I was not able to relate to them. The danger and climax of the story was a real 'page turner', and their sexy romance was hot and inventive. I am also glad that the group dynamics and interaction was constant, so it could make reading about their dark, disturbing past a little easier. I liked it and the Sea Haven series.

Viktor Prakenskii has for the last five years put his life and love on hold in order to take down one of the most feared motorcycle club from the inside. Along with wanting to take down the seemingly untouchable head of the organization Viktor wanted desperately to stop the exploitation of innocent children who were being sold into lives of perversion and shame. But most of all Viktor wanted to reclaim his wife, Blythe Daniels whom he had left behind after he’d murdered her stepfather.
*** First of all, I have to say how sad I am that this is the last book of this remarkable series of the Sea Haven/Sisters of the Heart. To say this was remarkable is almost an understatement, but I personally will definitely miss all the wonderful characters whom I’ve come to love.
Blythe hadn’t heard a word from Viktor in five years and had never even informed her sisters of the quickie marriage she and Viktor had embarked on all those years ago. When he showed up in Sea Haven after no word in all that time Blythe was full of emotions and least of all was the physical response he invoked just by being in the same vicinity as she.
With Viktor came his ‘family’ a group of damaged souls whom Viktor had grown up with and protected as best he could. This group were all ready to kill and die for Viktor and would not and by and see him hurt – by anyone. As far as Viktor was concerned, Blythe was the key to both his and his ‘family’s’ future. Viktor know that with Blythe’s gifts of healing and compassion she would be able to help him and his family heal from years of hellish abuse.
Bottom Line: With fantastic writing and super strong characters, BOUND TOGETHER, is the cherry on the top of this amazing series. I only hope that Ms. Feehan finds it in her heart to do another series similar to this and focus on Viktor’s other ‘family’ of misfits and how they go on with their lives.

Bound Together reads like a three act play. The first act, Viktor Prakenskii and his loyal band of warriors take down an ineffably evil motorcycle club from the inside. Viktor aka Czar tells his people to leave him to it, that they’ve walked into a trap. He doesn’t want them to follow him “straight to hell.”
Dmitry “Storm” Koval sighed heavily. “We all voted, Czar, just like always. Stop trying to carry us on your shoulders. We chose this life. All of us.”
Viktor clenched his teeth. That was a blatant lie. None of them had chosen their life. Not a single one. They all shared a common beginning. Each of them had parents murdered by a man named Kostya Sorbacov, because their parents hadn’t agreed with Sorbacov’s politics.
The children were tortured unmercifully but under Viktor’s leadership, they became a fearsome fighting unit. Bound Together opens at a climatic crossroads. For five years Viktor’s life has been devoted to stopping one man.
Evan Shackler-Gratsos was the number-one human trafficker in the world. Viktor knew he couldn’t stop everyone, but he was determined to take the man down. That decision had cost him five years of his life, possibly his marriage and the knowledge that the men he called brothers had made the choice to follow him into hell, just as they always had.
Viktor surrenders to the inevitable and the fight is on. Christine Feehan portrays the battle between good and evil in stark, poignant, excruciating detail. When it’s all over, Viktor decides there’s only one person who can give him peace, give him a reason to live—his estranged wife Blythe. In a wry aside, “ice-cold, expressionless” Reaper gives Czar some relationship advice, after Viktor makes the pronouncement that they “can get out of this life.”
“Don’t kid yourself. You know better. You want her in your life, and you don’t think she’ll accept you as you are. Just so you know, that isn’t love, my friend. She either takes you like you are, with us, with what we have to do, or she isn’t worth it.”
The second act reminded me of the fabled love-story of Penelope and Odysseus. Here’s a quick refresher, courtesy of Wikipedia:
In Homer’s Odyssey, Penelope is the wife of Odysseus, who is known for her fidelity to Odysseus while he was absent, despite having many suitors…She only has one son by Odysseus, Telemachus, who was born just before Odysseus was called to fight in the Trojan War. She waits twenty years for the final return of her husband.
Blythe Daniels Prakenskii has worked hard to rebuild her life in the five years her husband has been gone “after he murdered her stepfather and left without a word.” She is surrounded by friends and family in Sea Haven. Her professional life as a physical therapist and personal trainer embolden her to be of service to others—she’s become someone who is leaned on and respected.
Sounds a little bit like Viktor, doesn’t it? Blythe is no easy conquest for her home-at-last husband. Act Two is sweet and sexy and powerful—there’s nothing more compelling than an alpha-man, down on his knees, pleading for a second chance.
“You’re asking for more than a chance,” she challenged.
“You’re right.” He cupped her face in his hands, his thumbs sliding over her cheeks in a slow caress. “I am. I have to. I need you to save me. To save all of us.”
She stepped back, rejecting his plea. “Don’t. Don’t say things like that to me. It isn’t fair, and you know it isn’t.”
He let his hands drop to his sides. “Did you think I would fight fair?” You matter more than anything else in my life.”
My money’s on Viktor—and the love that he shared, and still shares, with Blythe.
Act Three is the climatic conclusion to the Sea Haven series. The bad guys, led by Evan Shackler-Gratsos, come roaring up the northern California coast—actually, they are stealthy and sneak into place—but they bring the battle to the men and women of Sea Haven.
Power became a living, breathing entity, so strong the force of it shook the earth beneath their feet, the trees and bushes swaying. The flames froze so they appeared long towers of flickering orange and red.
The exciting conclusion of Bound Together is saturated with testosterone and estrogen: the “Sisters of the Heart” make a ferocious fighting force, as do the men who love them, and, of course, Viktor’s band of brothers
The mysterious brother, Viktor, finally comes back and he’s here to claim his unexpecting wife, Blythe. Viktor Prakenskii got the worst part of the orphanage, his brother’s lives might have been hard but his existence was downright brutal. Anyone who survived that kid of violence would be forever scarred. Viktor doesn’t just come with his destroyed heart but he brings his entire team, members of a MC Club, and a few they’ve rescued along the way. Blythe must find the strength to not only forgive the man she thought abandon her but to also help heal those who need it most.
Feehan has brought the Sea Haven/Sisters of the Heart all together for this action intense battle against the evil that has been perpetrated against the young and the innocent. The evil comes via Jackson's 1/2 brother and the world wide leader of the Swords MC gang. Some new characters also have come into play that I would of loved a little more from but understand this cast pack story left little room for more. I really loved the fact that so many characters are coming together in one story but I did find the subject matter disturbing (especially the child sexual enslavement and exploitation) and telling was some what repetitive. The Queen of Paranormal proves her title once again in Bound Together.

I loved the Sea Haven books and wanted to finish out the Sisters of the Heart, even though I felt the series was getting farther and farther away from what was making it good. But, I finally got the story for Viktor Prakenskii. We've known for some time that he's married to Blythe Daniels and he's finally coming home to get her. Oh. And he's bringing eighteen of his chose family home to her so that she can heal them just like she's going to heal him. And the kids that he's bringing home, the ones that have been the victims of some pretty horrific sexual abuse. But it's okay because he's going to make it be okay.
Blythe isn't so sure about letting Viktor back into her life. He got close to her, married her (she's pretty sure about that point but it's a bit fuzzy), and then murdered her stepfather right in front of her. Then disappeared for five years without a trace. But he's back now along with his motorcycle club that seems to have no boundaries. And that's no problem because Viktor keeps telling her it's no problem.
I had so many issues with this book. It was really more of a two and a half but I rounded up. I just really need to stop reading Feehan's books because they aren't my cup of tea and yet I keep picking them up. To be honest, this book was just darn hard to follow. The sequel bait was an entire motorcycle club all with real names and nicknames. And this book is FULL of the thing that drives me nuts about this author, she doesn't just give you information, she slaps it upside your head four or five times to make sure that you know that Savage and Reaper are blond. And brothers. And the one is more broken. I couldn't even tell you which because, even after all that repetition, we had the motorcycle club to keep track of, the previous H/Hs from five books in the Sisters of the Heart series PLUS there was a tie-in to the 7 Sea Haven books.

Wow what a way to end the series. Christine Feehan is one of the all time best at story telling as far as I am concerned. We finally get Viktor’s story. I really believe the series was wrapped up and brought it all together.
This is a story of a second chance at love and understanding.
I do hope that Feehan figures out a way to bring some of the background characters into another series eventually. Some were great characters.
