An interesting premise, which stalled midway through and recovered with approximately a tenth of the text remaining. I quite liked Cordelia's character, who has grown in confidence/ability since Paladins, but the self-absorption/conceit that accompanied Naos, while predictable, was soon aggravating to read. The world building was done skillfully.
