Overall the story was written rather well. Good plot and characters.
Deceit, betrayal, erotic
The book cover and blurb to Sin For Me lures you to think this is a romantic story. Well, just stop. Go about your business and look elsewhere. If you want sweet, comfortable, a uncomplicated plot, purple prose, this is not it. Ms. Perry will give you crack and take you down a rabbit hole where your skin will ache from emotional abrasion and your mind exhausted from mental masturbation.
Though the central characters, Dante Bishop and Chelsea Coin, take center stage, there are side stories that embellish upon this fast-paced, unabashed story of greed and deceit. Sin For Me uses the backdrop of hip hop music industry, taking an intense look behind the people who stole a family business from friends. Dante and Delilah Bishop were heirs to Devil’s Music, a music label that was the Bishop family legacy until it was stolen from them by Joshua Drake, Emma Toledo, and Chelsea Coin.
There is strange dynamic that play between Joshua and his wife Emma, Joshua and Delilah, and Joshua and Lex. With Dante and Chelsea reuniting after years apart, the intense drama unfolds along with the others. This story is filled with betrayal, deceit, lies, and lots and lots of sex. Yes, the sex is hot. The characters are insanely dysfunctional. Ms. Perry’s storytelling grabs you by the neck and shakes you mercilessly until the end. The story is rough and in-your-face unapologetic. At the end I felt drained from all the consuming dramatics, but it was an interesting read for me unlike I have read.
It also ends abruptly.
Perhaps there will be a sequel to explain the mystery behind a previous murder.

Sin for Me by Lisa Marie Perry......This book is full of fighting, sex, hot times, violence and lots of other crazy stuff. It will keep you flipping pages to find out what is happening now. It was interesting watching the story be told for Dante and Chelsea. If you are looking for an entertaining book, you must read this one. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
I did not finish this book. I tried but I just couldn't get into it.
Sin for Me was more drama than anything I have read in a while. Dante, Chelsea, and everyone else was all over the place. It was hard for to follow the story line in the beginning. It took a while, but I eventually finished the book. Sin for Me was like watching Empire all over again. Chelsea was considered the family screw up/wild child. Dante was unpredictable, yet intriguing at the same time. I would have loved to see more romance than anything else in this book. Overall, the book was ok.
This is the first book I've read by this author and I totally enjoyed it. It has murder, love and traitors in a cut throat music business. Secerts are revealed some new ones made and you learn who your true friends are in life. This book contained it all, loved it. Just when i thought I was on the road to understanding the answer more secerts were revealed. The characters were great and even though I did want to hurt several to make them see sense, lol. I didn't realize this was a 2 part series book but the ending in my opinion left me just satisfied enough but that I can wait the few months for the rest of answers. Though I will grab part 2 as soon as I can to find out the whole truth! Honest review in exchange for ARC.
This book was just OK for me. It is more drama then romance about the hip/hop music industry. Delilah and Dante her brother were forced out of their decreased father record label by their so called friends Emma, her husband Joshua and Dante's ex girlfriend Chelsea. The book has been compared to the TV show "Empire" by other reviewers but since I have not seen this show I am not sure how it compares other then I find the story line hard to follow so maybe I would have had an easier time with a visual experience. The book just ends leaving the reader waiting for the follow up book "Burn For Me".
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy provided by Random House -Loveswept and NetGalley.
This book was like Empire on steroids. Sex, betrayal, lust, insane, intense, sex, hot, crazy, sex, oh yeah did I mention INSANE! ...and don't forget the cliffhanger. But don't let all that scare you off. This was a fast-paced, crazy, good time! Dante comes back home to help Chelsea and you will just have to read this one :) It reads like a nighttime soap opera and it was so good!

So yep where do begin?! This book is INSANE and INTENSE! I am just speechless and there really are no words to describe this book but to say...if you enjoy Empire the tv show you DEFINITELY need to grab this book. This book is like Empire but 10 times way more intense. I honestly don't know where this author has been hiding! I'm hooked though!
I, unfortunately, started reading this series from the third book, so I don't know Luka and Zaal's stories but believe me this in no way diminishes the beauty of these books and this series. I am a big fan of romance and erotica and have read hundreds of books from these genres and even though sometimes having many love scenes adds a lot to a story, sometimes you find books where it is just one scene after another, without much thought given to the storyline or the characters. Tillie Cole is an amazing writer who doesn't seem to even need to have endless love scenes to make her stories hot and emotional, to make you feel the intense and profound chemistry between the hero and heroine. This series may be full of characters with deep physical and emotional scars, yet these characters have the most beautiful souls that you could ever come across.
In the last book of the series we had met Valentin and witnessed his endless and desperate search for his little sister Inessa. Unfortunately, after a gruesome battle, he had once again lost his sister to the clutches of the ruthless Arziani Georgian crime mob. Inessa, or 152, as she is now known has been given drugs her whole life. Drugs that have forced her to be a sex slave and left no memory of her past life. She doesn't even remember her own name. Like all the slaves in the Blood Pit, she is only a number and the slave of a monster. Her life becomes even more unbearable when she catches the eye of the master and her status is elevated to High Mona, making her the mistress of the master. A master who is diabolical and unhinged. But her fate takes an unexpected turn when the master gifts her to the champion of the Blood Pit, the infamous Pit Bull of the Blood Pit, 901.
901 has never lost a fight in the Blood Pit. Kidnapped from an orphanage in Russia when he was just a small boy, he has been given drugs to make him invincible. He has never known kindness or human touch. He even avoids the women that the master sends him, fearing that any attachment, physical or emotional, will make him weak. But when the master sends him his High Mona, drugged and on the verge of dying, he finds himself unable to avoid her. Night by night he finds himself being drawn closer to the delicate beauty and soon they find themselves in a little cocoon. A cocoon, that they know can crumble around them at any moment.
A story so beautiful and emotional that you won't be able to forget this story any time soon. Mesmerizing and spellbounding...
A few of my books friends loved this book and I was excited to read. I'm all about the drama in my books but there was way too much in this story for me. The story had drama just for the sake of having drama. Each character has deep dark hidden secrets. Some of them are really messed up. Even with that I still didn't feel any type of connection with any of the characters. I needed more character development as the story progressed and I didn't get any. I was left with more questions after reading. Sadly this book just didn't work in my favor.
Like a rhythmic vibration that starts way down deep, Ms. Perry grabs the mike and takes center stage with Sin For Me. From the trail of broken hearts to the internal scheming and the combustible fireworks Chelsea and Dante throw at each other, the drama is real. The temptation is temperamental and the romance is as seductive as the catchy tunes The Devil's Music produces. What's a little romance without a bit of mystery thrown in to stir the flames? Sin For Me is intensely sensual and highly emotional. I'll be holding my breath waiting to see what happens next.
There was not one character that I liked in this book. Every single, one of them was a disgusting excuse for a human being. I'm not quite sure who I was supposed to be rooting for. So although it ends with a cliffhanger I have absolutely no desire to read the next book.
I've never read anything by this author before but I swear this first book in this series is now stuck in my psyche. The characters all have some major issues going on here and YES, I can't walk away now. Dante has me intrigued. He walked away yet finds his way back into the mix to help his sister, who I think is the most screwed up of the bunch.
I'm still trying to wrap my mind up around Chelsea, Emma and Joshua. There is something so much deeper going on with these characters that I know no matter what I will be coming back to see what their story is.
I intially wasn't sure how I felt about this cover and the book but I took a chance and it is worth every hair pulling moment. This is not just some rock music romance, there is so much going on here it's almost like watching a series on television (but much better since reading has me using my imagination). Just to add in another hook, there are a lot of extra characters that will intrigue you almost as much as the main ones.
This is an author I will be watching and possilbly adding to my reading list.
This book was so hard to follow. Half the time I had no clue what the people were talking about. It's like they had their own inside language/thoughts they only they understood. Then it ends in a "cliffhanger". Nope.
Well ... I just don't know what to say. This book has so many stories going on at once, so you really have to pay attention and read it all at once. Only you don't get any answers ... hopefully the answers will come in book 2.
But the main story is about Dante and Chelsea. They have a past where they broke each other's hearts. Dante is brought back to his family's record label to write songs for a deaf singer (Alexa), to help the label stay afloat. He knows he will be working alongside Chelsea, as she is now the label's COO. They start an affair with the intentions of taking advantage of each other and not let their hearts come into the equation at all. Side stories are: 1) Joshua and Emma, 2) Joshua and Delilah, and 3) Alexia. Can't wait for the next book!

There is so much going on in this story; I’m too stunned to know where to begin. Essentially, Sin For Me reads like a T.V soap opera, with abundance of suspense, intrigue and off the charts, super hot sex!
At times, the story did take a slower turn, and occasionally I was a little confused, but I had no ability to put the book down, as the story had me tight within its grip and wasn’t letting go till I reached the very end.
With so many secondary characters contributing to this intriguing storyline, I’m sure there are many more books to come in this explosive series.
I would rate this book as 5 stars and everything that she writes
Story was too complicated and convoluted for me. I know other people have loved it but it just was not the story for me.
