This was a cute read. I enjoyed the sexual tension between the two characters. I liked the backstory. Look forward to reading more books by this author.
Suzi Jennings' Tangling with the London Tycoon was a fun way to spend an afternoon. The romance between Rosco and Kitty started off on the wrong foot. Rosco thought Kitty was a middle-aged photographer while she thought he was a paunchy, bald CEO. That couldn't have been farther from the truth and watching the realization light up their eyes was fabulous. That "whoops" moment played into the lightheartedness of their relationship while battling tough wounds. It's weird to say this about a romance book, but I liked that it wasn't all flirtation, all the time. It was just a lot of fun watching Rosco slip into the Irish rogue when he turns on the charm. He doesn't do it often, so it felt a little special. The flirting turned into a pretty hands on budding romance. I loved watching them face their inner demons and overcome their pasts together. Overall, it was a quick, fun romance and the start to a promising series.
London publishing tycoon Rosco Redmond closely guards his family, his business, and his privacy. When his sister’s wedding brings the paparazzi baying at his door, wedding photographer Kitty Mayfair unwittingly becomes his decoy girlfriend. But the mysterious Kitty has secrets of her own.
Despite the sexy hint of an appealing Irish brogue, Kitty’s new boss is bent on micromanaging his sister’s wedding and the crazy fake relationship she’s been dragged into. The only thing they seem to have in common, is that neither of them believes in happy-ever-afters. But the more time Kitty spends with the tycoon, the more she begins to suspect there’s a lot of fire beneath his cool facade.
With the past complicating their present, and the zoom lenses of photographers everywhere they go, the commitment phobic control freak and the globe-trotting free spirit clash and ignite.
A demanding employer, a woman with a secret past and a case of mistaken identity. Dive into this delightful must read and your e-reader will thank you!
This was such a fun and different read in the sense that it was a romance built off a really weird and different situation because Rosco seems to really like Kitty yet doesn't trust her intentions. Thinking about that in real life...that would be really strange and difficult. I loved how protective Rosco is with his family. Because he is a publishing tycoon, he wants to keep his family out of the public eye and that means the paparazzi. His sister is getting married in a couple days but the photographer has to cancel so Kitty wants the job. Rosco doesn't trust that she won't bring the paparazzi with her so he tails her the entire time. This is where the story gets even more interesting and heated.
Seriously. I could not put this book down. How the author writes this story and develops these characters makes it impossible to put this book down. And this is just the first book in the series! I will definitely be keeping an eye out for this author!
Tangling with the London Tycoon didn't quite live up to my expectations. Rosco and Kitty are both likable characters, but are lacking in chemistry and their connection wasn't believable. I felt very disconnected the entire time I was reading, and I was never able to get into this one.
Kitty has just accepted an assignment to take photos for Rosco's sister's wedding. When she meets Rosco, he seems angry and combative. He's so buttoned up and controlled, and Kitty is the opposite. She has a free spirited, artistic temperament, which could have been a good fit for Rosco's conservative personality. Unfortunately, they never meshed well.
I wanted more passion between the two, and the love scenes were fade to black, which is most definitely not a good thing. It could have been acceptable if I liked the other parts of their relationship, but when added to their blatant differences and lack of chemistry, both emotionally and physically, I was left with a shell of a relationship with not enough descriptive details and a weak connection.
Pretty good story. I love reading these "entangled indulgence" books. They are a quick love story. Though you do not feel like you have been robbed of anything from their story.
I recommend this story, and look forward to more from this author.
When I first starting reading Tangling with the London Tycoon, I had a definite “erg” feeling come on. The first few chapters were unnecessarily wordy with Kitty and Rosco covering the same turf in dialogue over and over. Contract. Contract. Contract. Papparazzi. Papparazzi. Papparazzi. Honestly, I only continued because I rarely do DNFs. This felt like a worn category romance.
By the time of the wedding, the tenor had changed. There was some action. There was activity. Kitty and Rosco were clicking and I was far more engaged. They managed to have conversations about other things than the Cs & Ps as mentioned above. Kitty felt empathy for Rosco and understood his family situation and his overwhelming Aunts. They sat under a table in a storage room hidden by a tablecloth and there was connection. It was quirky and cute and there was a nice spark between the two characters. From there on, I had no problem continuing the read, which mostly flowed. The dialogue also flowed with some fun exchanges between Kitty and Rosco.
Both Kitty and Rosco are strong characters albeit in different ways and both were damaged by their childhoods. However, they’ve risen above the issues and have become successful. While Rosco is used to people doing what he says and backing down, Kitty does neither of those things. And, this is one of the traits that draws Rosco to her.
When I first began Tangling with the London Tycoon, I didn’t realize that it was the beginning of a series. I’m intrigued enough to continue. Let’s hope that the subsequent novels have opening chapters better than this one.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
3 stars
For me, Tangling with the London Tycoon was an OK read.
While the writing was good and the storyline kept me turning the pages, I failed to connect with Kitty and Rosco's characters which affected my overall enjoyment.
Thank you to Entangled Indulgence via Netgalley for the advance copy.
I received this ARC copy from the publisher for an honest review. I give this book 5 stars. I whole heartedly recommend this book. The hero Roscommon is a Publisher and the heroine Kitty is a photographer. He hires her to shot photos of his sister wedding, he is a suspicious man and thinks of her as a person the like to be the tabloids. But she wants to be out of the lime light because of her family. The is a great book to read.

This book was given to me for an honest review.

I really wanted to love this book, but it was just ok for me. The whole story seemed like it would be something that could be more, but for me it ended a little short.Roscoe is an absolute control freak, which of course I completely understand. He needs the wedding to go off without a hitch. NO paparazzi. No one can let anyone know this is happening, but the problem is that he needs to find someone in two day. Kitty really needs a job and will do anything. This is a foot in for her. To show her worth. She has to prove to herself that she is a force to be reckon with. They both have histories they are trying to hide, and maybe overcome in a sense. Even though I truly loved both of the characters I just couldn't get connected with the story. I feel that it needed more.
I love reading new authors and I think I will really enjoy reading her books, this one was just not for me. It was a cute love story with not a lot of drama and learning from each other in some ways. I wished I could have connected with the characters better, but unfortunately this was not the book for me. I hope I get to read another book from this author because I did enjoy her writing.
Kitty couldn’t afford to let the opportunity of Rosco Redmond pass by. Kitty had never walked away from a challenge since she was sixteen. Then her mother had died and left her alone. Rosco was CEO of his family’s Investment And Publishing Groups. Kitty only had two hours to get things together and get to Rosco’s home for the photography assignment. He wanted Kitty to photograph his sister’s wedding but his way. He would make sure of the pictures she took and oversee them. Amanda was happy to be all over the social media but Rosco was in negotiations to win the contract for the pictorial history of the Duke of Sandford’s private palace that were almost over and Rosco wanted nothing to come between him getting this project. Rosco felt attraction to kitty but he didn’t get personal with employees. The media was trying to link Rosco with Titania who was a pop star and on the wild side and Rosco definitely wanted to stop that rumor even though Titania was part of the bridal party. Eighteen months earlier Kitty had found out she had four half sisters now they all lived together and had businesses in the warehouse they had refurbished. Kitty had agreed to run interference with the Titania situation as well as his aunts if Rosco would let her give him a presentation of her Bedouin project. Rosco ended up kissing kitty while hiding out from his aunts. Then Rosco shows up at Kitty’s sister restaurant and offers them a project they could work on together for him. But there is also still the attraction.
I liked this book a lot. It was a fun read but also pulled at your heartstrings how both Rosco and Kitty didn’t have a loving upbringing. I liked how Kitty found a room for her and Rosco to hide and almost get found out. I laughed out loud and choke up while reading this story and that is a good thing I felt like I was there.I like how Rosco and Kitty opened up to each other it added to the story that they trusted each other with a very painful part of their lives. It was a good plot and an enjoyable read. I loved the characters and the ins and outs and I recommend.

Rocso and Kitty were fun...in a terribly British way. So, a little reserved, a little cold when you first get to know them, but so warm and funny when you start to understand their relationship and personality. But, both genuinely fun and great to get to know and spend time with.
The author and writing style definitely made me think this was a British author and a British story. And I enjoyed it for this. It was different, it felt different, it had a pacing that was unique to a lot of the stories I have read, and I really liked this about the book.
The pacing was strong, the characters were realistic and while they took a little bit of time to get to know and engage with, you end up liking them and wanting to know what happens to them.
The supporting characters were also excellent. It gave an excellent balance for the main characters as well as gave a depth to the story and to the relationships with the main characters. They added to the story in a favorable way.
Today we are checking out Tangling with the London Tycoon. In the story we meet Rosco Redmond who is very private and we meet Kitty Mayfair who is trying to get her business rolling. Rosco has a need to control everything, and Kitty wants to be able to do her job without his micromanaging. Yet, there is an attraction. I wish the attraction was played up a little more to add a little more tension. Anyway, both have secrets that they would like to keep under wraps.
Anyway, Tangling with the London Tycoon was an all right read. I would have liked a few things played up a little more, but that's okay. I wish we got a little prologue on how the sisters were gather together, even though they don't play a major part in the book you see them.
Overall, I liked the story, only a few things I would have liked to have seen more in the story. I see a lot potential with the author. I did like Kitty fun flirty style and how her style kind of bug Rosco. Rosco needed a little fun in his life.
I decided to pick this one up just out of curiosity. Thanks to NetGalley, Entangled Publishing, LLC, Indulgence and Suzi Jennings.
This is a cute love story, good timing for Valentine's day challenge. The book itself has high potential, I have noticed similarities with Sophie Kinsella's and even Fifteen Shades of Gray, well let's say the plot seemed familiar and not conpletely new. The characters need to be worked more deeply. The family issues on both sides build a certain base which have always intrigued me and could build strong psychological dramas.
All in all it was a perfect cute light read for February, though I could have imagined a lot more.
A bit confusing, but hot. I bet the last part was because of the Rosco.

This book was a cute story, however I didn't fall completely for the characters. It was a nice story and a quick read.
Behind the lens of the glamorous life are two people destined to be victims of their own family legacies. Tangling With the London Tycoon is a look into the dark side of fame. The paparazzi, phobias and loneliness that in Kitty's case lead her to seek to live outside the spotlight. So why is she allowing herself to be pulled back in? Could it be the mysterious challenge that Roscoe represents? Or perhaps the yearning of one lonely heart for another? Though not without it's problems, Tangling With the Tycoon quickly recouped and made for a solid first read by a fresh new author.
Loved this novel and the interaction between the characters. The author's descriptions of places and in particular Kitty's clothes painted vivid pictures in my minds eye. I loved the humour and quirkiness that was inserted into the story, an example of the former is Rosco with regard to his sister's wedding -
'He was considering joining the washing-up staff, or developing a short but highly infectious illness. Matrimonial man-flu.'
This is my first book by this author but I don't think it will be the last.
