This was a pleasurable read I thought. Although there were some lulls in the story for me, it was nothing I couldn't read right through. I think that Suzi Jennings is an Author that we need to watch out for with her next books though.
Roscoe is a wealthy man that is obsessed with being in control. When the photographer for his sister's wedding backs out last minute, he has to find someone quick. This someone has to be a person that can keep quiet about one of the bridesmaid's being famous though. Who can he get on such short notice? Enter Kitty into the story line. Kitty is an attention to detail photographer that is trying to get in good with Roscoe so that she can pitch him a proposal that she has in mind.
When Roscoe informs Kitty that she has to keep things quiet, she says she has no problem with that, but soon after she is hired, the paparazzi show up and Roscoe just knows that it was Kitty that leaked the information. Well, come to find out, it wasn't Kitty at all. Little does Roscoe know that Kitty has some secrets of her own and knows just how to deal with these types of things and she would never tip off the paparazzi.
As things progress with Roscoe and Kitty, Roscoe is being his usual self and being over protective, following Kitty around and making sure she is doing her job. What Roscoe didn't plan on though was how his feelings for Kitty would develop faster than he knew what to do with them. Will Kitty and Roscoe be done as soon as the wedding is over? You have to read this one to find out. I thought that the characters were very well developed and ones that we as the reader could relate to. I am anxious to see what Suzi Jennings has in store for us next!
I rarely ever not finish a book, unfortunately this was one of those books that I didn't finish. Tangling with the London Tycoon is about a publishing executive (Rosco), who ends up having one of his employees (Kitty) photograph his sisters wedding because the original photographer drops out at the last minute. Both characters are paparazzi phobic to the point it's disturbing for the reader. The story lacked any kind of excitement, and I found what I did read was just boring. Got to about 70% and just gave up, I was jumping ahead more than I was reading, just didn't keep my interest at all. I don't like leaving poor reviews on books, rarely do it because it takes a lot for an author to write, but this story just didn't do it for me unfortunately.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book
Tangling with the London Tycoon was an okay novel in my opinion, I just had a hard time getting into the story. Both Rosco and Kitty are awesome characters but I just didn’t feel the connection between them. The storyline was intriguing because of the circumstances that bond them, there was just a loss in the emotion connection and chemistry. It wasn’t a bad story it just wasn’t quite for me. I would give this novel 3.5 stars.
This was a good read. rosco and Kitty both had troubled childhoods. Together they were able to forget for a while, but their pasts came back to haunt them. It was a fun and angst filled read. Good characters, main and secondary, and a nicely written world that is entertaining. Clean read, no sex scenes, though it's hinted at. Overall, nice.
I enjoyed this contemporary romance between the unlikely duo of London tycoon Rosco, and photographer Kitty. They both have secrets in their past and Kitty especially is wary of being recognized or of the paparazzi.
Rosco contracts Kitty for an emergency replacement for his sister's wedding photography, but Kitty has always avoided wedding photography. Before long, she is pushed outside of her comfort zone as she and Rosco explore their attraction.
This is an entertaining novel that I gave four stars for a solid plot with some fun quirks. The plot was steady, but a bit slow. The characters were engaging and I would have loved to have learned more about them.
The author has great potential and I am looking forward to reading more by her. I believe that she is an author to watch and I'm already looking forward to her next book.
Suzi Jennings is a new author to me and this story had me thinking I need to look at her other books.
Roscoe is a silent broody man that just oozes sex appeal and Kitty is the fun loving girl that takes no nonsense a match made in heaven or is it... will the secrets from their pasts stay in the past or will the paparazzi spill the beans......
This is a fast fun book that will keep you on your toes as it goes back and forth between Roscoe and Kitty. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
Rosco is a London millionaire that protects his family and reputation. I received a copy of Tangling with the London Tycoon from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review. Rosco is in the middle of preparing everything for one of his sisters' wedding when the photographer is unable to make it. He needs a photographer ready to go in less than two days and that photographer has to be discreet and professional because one of the bridesmaids is famous and the paparazzi also love to stalk Rosco's family. Kitty wants the job and she is needs this job to get her in the door so that she can sell a photography project she is planning to Rosco's media empire. Kitty is publicity adverse and she has good reason. She comes from a very untraditional family and her mother was someone that drew the paparazzi before her untimely death.
Rosco and Kitty do not hit it off so well in the beginning. He doesn't trust that she didn't bring the paparazzi to his door before the wedding even commences and she things he is uptight. Rosco things Kitty has a good eye her photography but worries she will not do the work to the standard he would like so he decides to trail her every move. This has the undesired affect of showing him just how interested he is in Kitty despite his desire not to be in a relationship. Kitty just wants him to publisher her work and works hard to keep space between them until she realizes they have a lot more in common than she realized, troubled parents. They bond over having a parent who seemed to be have trouble following them and end up in a situation that neither wanted but neither can resist. It is a great story of love happening in weird situations, like while hiding out under a table at a wedding. Review can also be seen at LadyTechie's Book Musings
Just an ok read for me. The writing was good but I never really connected with these characters. The chemistry between Roscoe and Kitty didn't really feel true. He's a control freak, she's a free spirit and the two just didn't seem right together to me. Not a bad story with family issues at the core for both of them. The last thing they need is all the publicity Roscoe's sisters wedding is generating so they team up to hold off the vultures.

GoodReads Summary:
London publishing tycoon Rosco Redmond closely guards his family, his business, and his privacy. When his sister’s wedding brings the paparazzi baying at his door, wedding photographer Kitty Mayfair unwittingly becomes his decoy girlfriend. But the mysterious Kitty has secrets of her own.
Despite the sexy hint of an appealing Irish brogue, Kitty’s new boss is bent on micromanaging his sister’s wedding and the crazy fake relationship she’s been dragged into. The only thing they seem to have in common is that neither of them believes in happy-ever-afters. But the more time Kitty spends with the tycoon, the more she begins to suspect there’s a lot of fire beneath his cool facade.
With the past complicating their present, and the zoom lenses of photographers everywhere they go, the commitment phobic control freak and the globe-trotting free spirit clash and ignite.
My Review:
First response: A control freak and a free spirit? What's not to love about that? And I love the title of this book! Full review soon on my blog.
The title of this book is so appropriate! Tangling is just what these two do throughout the book. It's a constant matter of one-upmanship and keeping secrets from each other and getting there first. The book opens with her on his doorstep and running ten minutes late for an assignment she was given at the last minute and has no idea what is involved. He argues with her about being late, about how old she is, and asks for her ID. Their first photo op arrives in the shape of bike riding paparazzi while he hugs her to him to drag her into the house and slam the door. They then tangle over her contract. The one thing they seem to agree on through the whole book is that weddings aren't for either one of them.
As the wedding progresses, Roscoe's family secrets are revealed to Kitty. Painfully for Roscoe sometimes. Kitty's secrets are easier to keep, at least for awhile. Since I'm telling you up front that this is an HEA for these two, I'm not going any further and slip with any spoilers. I'm going to tell you how well written these two characters were and how superbly they interacted. I love Roscoe and Kitty! Their story is touching and one you'll want to read and read again. I strongly recommend this book for those of you who enjoy reading about wickedly rich men and the strong women who
love them.
This book was sent to me in ebook format by Entangled Publishing and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I am not being compensated in any way. All opinions are fully my own.

I liked this one. Rosco with his strong, silent, but loving personality was something I just loved. Kitty was a fun balance to Rosco. I could have done without all the paparazzi worry throughout it. I felt like the story could have went on just fine with the theme without the paparazzi "threat". Overall a good, sexy read!
a good unique story. Interesting plot. Enjoyed the story and romance.
A clean romance about two people that are trying to kept their families past actions out of the public eye. Rosco owns the publishing company that Kitty a photographer works for. They meet when Rosco brings her in to do the photos for his sister's wedding. They both have secrets from their past that they would like to keep hidden but are afraid might come to light due to the press covering the pop star bridesmaid. Part of her contract is to pretend to be his love interest at the wedding so the press will not link him with the pop star. The book has some humor, a little steam and a HEA. If you are in the mood for a clean romance give this book a try.
"Received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review"
I enjoyed this book. Rosco and Kitty are interesting characters that are fighting their sparks because each of them have reasons. Rosco not wanting to get involved with an employee and Kitty not wanting to get involved with a public figure. When Kitty see's what happens behind the scenes of Rosco's life she is touched. But her past is holding her back. She mindlessly takes a risk at helping Rosco and ends up with something more.
I found that the characters are likable and the plot-line builds nicely and the writting was easy to follow and thougthful. What I didn't like was that I didn't understand the sudden shift in Rosco that he could have a relationship with his employee. I also found the inner turmoil of Kitty to be one that took a long time to get insight on. Yet, I understood and became compassionate to her. You have two broken characters that join forces to heal each other. Would I read more from this author? Yes.
Tangling with the London Tycoon by Suzi Jennings was a fast and fun contemporary romance that was a nice escape from reality. I abso~loved the back and forth that took place between Rosco and Kitty. Very well-done read.
An ARC was generously provided in exchange for an honest review of which this is both honest and completely voluntary.
Tangling With the London Tycoon, made a great weekend book to read. There were just a couple of times that the book dragged a little. Other than that, I liked the fact that they both come from money so no hurt feelings there.
Disappointing.
Kitty Mayfair is a contract photographer. Randomly selected by the head of LJ Redmond Publishing to take his sister's wedding photos after the previous photographer fractures her collar bone.
Rosco Redmond is the head of the publishing house. He is the antithesis of his father who drank and cheated his way around London. He is desperate to win a lucrative publishing contract and needs his family business (and ergo his family) to exude class and sophistication - difficult to do when his sister has invited the pop star Titania to be one of her bridesmaids.
When Kitty is papped entering Rosco's London townhouse it spells bad news for both of them. Him because of the potential publishing contract and her because of her past.
My overwhelming feeling was that this was a longer 'women's fiction' novel that had been forced into the shorter Entangled Publishing format (not saying either is wrong, just that this format didn't work for the story). The novel jumped from one scene to another and seemed to be more about ticking off a shopping list of billionaire attributes (London townhouse, country estate, sports car, helicopter etc) than developing a coherent story. Both Kitty and Rosco had 'issues' which again felt too much for such a short novel format. Frankly, I didn't understand Kitty's hatred of the paparazzi nor her backstory with Trinity St George (or at least I didn't understand what the big issue was with Trinity). Similarly, I didn't understand the backstory with Rosco's potential publishing contract. I certainly didn't feel any connection between Kitty and Rosco (even their names are irritating me), I found their 'romance' difficult to believe. Basically, I felt that this was like a storyboard for a longer, more nuanced novel in which we saw more of the peripheral characters like Rosco's family or Kitty's family and got to understand why Kitty decided that Rosco had been playing her despite all evidence to the contrary.
