A very entertaining book that I enjoyed reading. I'm not used to reading books about demons warring, but I enjoyed this type of book and will be reading more from this author. I recommend Descent of Demons!
Love the characters and how they fell in love. Really good story!!
Well written, so dark it's sometimes hard to read. the heroine is left for dead in a dark corner of hell, through her own courage and perserveranceescapes. Xavier is a truly evil nemesis. Although Morgan is the hero he battles his own personal demons, not my usual genre but interesting.
Left for dead in a hellish corner of the dark realm, Julienne Blackthorne refused to surrender, and through her own force of will and her love for one man she managed to survive and escape.
I don’t know if I needed to read the first book in this series or what, but I was lost right from the beginning. I just didn’t like it.
Descent of Demons is book two in the Keepers of Eternity series. It picks right up where the first installment left off, so I recommend reading that one before picking this one up. It's definitely much darker and readers are given way more insight into Morgan. I still just couldn't get into the writing style of this author. I wound up skimming most of the book because of the level of details of the writing. The story jumped around a lot and introduced a ton of new characters while also reintroducing readers to ones from the first book. I stuck with it primarily because of the opportunity to understand Morgan a little better and the fact that I tend to be drawn to pretty dark books. The author did introduce some elements of vampirism, but it wasn't carried forward very effectively. Overall, only slightly better than the first book.
This is the second book in the series, and I really wanted to like the series because its such a great premise but I just couldnt get into it. The main female character is indecisive and doesnt seem to learn from her mistakes. The main male character is a miserable drunkard. Perhaps they will end up with some redeeming character traits but after struggling to get through these 2 books I dont think ill be trying the next one.
