Well done debut novel that I will forward to one of the hosts in the network for an interview consideration.. May I recommend that the author post an Amazon author page? Thank you.
This book was a mature, reflective take on the romantic relationship between young adults. The main characters, Tristan and Emma, are two individuals haunted by tragedies in their past that have left them hesitant to get involved with someone new. Together they work to overcome what has been holding them back in life. I thought the characters could have been enhanced with a little more history/back story/development, but I did enjoy how respectfully the two characters interacted with each other, especially when it came to sensitive topics.

“The Enchantment of Emma Fletcher” by L.D. Crichton follows the story of Emma and Tristan. Both Emma and Tristan have pasts that haunt them. In trying to deal with their pasts both head back to where they grew up – and end up in a friendship that neither had expected.
Now Emma is trying to become the girl she used to be and with the help of her best friend Marley, the unexpected feelings she has for Tristan and a local boxing hero, Mateo, she is well on her way. Tristan soon realizes that he would do whatever he has to do to keep Emma safe but her past invades their present and the only person that can save Emma is Emma herself.
A definite read for anyone who loves a strong heroine, quirky secondary characters and seeing how true love can develop when you least expect it to.

The Enchantment of Emma Fletcher was a quick, but well written story. It follows the story of Emma and Tristan. From the moment we meet Emma, there is something a bit mysterious about her. Growing up, she couldn't leave town fast enough. Now, she finds herself back home, after she was attacked. Her life forever changed in more than one way. She not only has to confront and face her future, but her past as well. The last thing she ever planned on was Tristan. Tristan has a past and secrets of his own, but there is just something about Emma that draws him in. He just knows one thing for certain, he wants Emma and will do whatever it takes to save her...
Overall, I thought this was a pretty good read. The story-line pulled me instantly. I was really intrigued by the characters and their pasts. They are the kind of characters that you want to know more about and can't help but root for.
The Enchantment of Emma Fletcher is the debut novel for author L.D. Crichton, and I look forward to checking out more from this author in the future.
