Who knew music could seduce and do such a marvelous job of it? Then again, perhaps it was Lily, working as the musicians’ temporary butler, who was really the seductress? Jax and Lex were friends who shared passion not only for music but sometimes for women. When Lily walked into their lives she became their muse allowing them to create beautiful music and as they created their passion overflowed into their relationship with Lily. Whether or not the relationship between the three would last beyond the short term contract Lily had with the two men was on all of their minds as their two months together neared its end. A novella that was definitely worth reading and one I would recommend with a nice slow buildup and a sizzling ending.

Wow, Calista Fox knocks this short story out of the park with this story of unconventional love.

Jax and Lexus are acclaimed classical musicians who are trying to write new music to help them get over a women whom they both loved and lost. Lily Hart is a Butler hired to cater to both men as they write their love letter through music. Once the men meet Lily they have found their muse to help complete their new CD and possibly find a new love for all three of them.

I really enjoyed the history that Jax and Lex share, I believed they have known each othere their whole life. When they lose their love years before they believed that the love they shared with another is gone. Then when Lily walks into their life and opens up their world again. Their love is unselfish and honest, if it wasnt this wouldn't work. I enjoyed Lily she is a character we don't see to often, a butler who would have thought of it. The attraction she feels for these two men is larger than life and filled with passion. I would have loved to have gotten more about Lily`s family but the author does set her up well, I just wanted more. We do meet some secondary characters from Lily`s history and how their lives intersect which was interesting. Ms Fox is weaving a world that will all come together in am sure. The sex sense of hot and full of passion as well, so good.

I am throughly enthralled in this world and am looking forward to more.

Seduction: A Bayfront Billionaire' Novella by Calista Fox is the story of Lily, Lex and Jax. This is just one hot, sexy and sweet novella. Lily had taken a butler job working for Lex and Jax who are billionaire musicians. She was expected to be on call day and night but she didn’t expect for her new bosses to be extremely hot and hunky. They hide this pain inside of them but she doesn’t know what pain they hide .What she does know is they appear to be on the prowl, hunting her down , at times seducing her with their eyes. You can tell Lily is professional and does her job but deep down is trying hard not to give in to their seduction. Lex and Jax are working on new music and when Lily shows up, its like an anwer to a prayer, she is the muse they were looking for yet at the same time, it was an answer to an even deeper prayer. This novella holds a lot into a short amount of time. I loved all the characters in this fast moving story –will Lily be temporary or will she be their forever muse ?

If you want a quickie ménage à trois story to read, this is for you. The story starts with Lily, a trained butler. I thought that butlers were typically male, but for the sake of this story, the main female character has professional butler on her resume. She apparently comes from a legacy of butlers and despite her gender, she too has taken on the position. She is newly hired in the home of Jackson Sterling and Lexington Alexander, hottie musicians with abs for days. One is the typical grumpy, angsty type and the other is distinctly sexual in all mannerisms. After meeting their new butler, both guys want to bang her and share her...with each other. Damn, that was fast. Must be animal magnetism or something like that. So you learn early on that these two had a history of sharing women and the last one caused an emotional rift that took a toll on their creativeness. Lily quickly becomes their new muse and things are looking up. Since this book kind of felt like a novella, there isn't much of a cliffhanger ending. A steamy sex scene was pretty much the only saving grace of an otherwise average plot.

I don't read ménage romances very often, but I recently read another one of Ms. Fox's novellas and I really enjoyed it, so I just said, "What the heck, why not?" and decided to pick Seduction up. And I'm so glad that I did because I loved it! It was fantastic and I can't wait to read more of these Bayfront Billionaires! 

I really liked Lily - she's sweet, professional, and so poised. She might come from a long line of butlers and be one herself, but that doesn't make her any less elegant, sophisticated, or classy than any of the people she serves. Lily is responsible, she's driven, and she's so passionate about not only Lex and Jax, but their music as well. She's so great and I adored her! 

One of my best book friends loves ménage romances, she reads them all the time, and I recently read one of her reviews about one and in it she explained that usually one of the men is the lighter, more playful and easygoing one while the other is the dark, brooding, more alpha-like one and boy, oh, boy, was she right! Lex is definitely the lighter one. He's soft and gentle, sensitive and sweet, but he's still got that strong alpha-male thing going on just not as much as Jax. I loved him exactly the way he is though - Lex is just wonderful! 

I probably shouldn't be able to choose who I love more between Jax and Lex, but there's just something about Jax that gets me and I have to say that he's my favorite. He has the brooding thing down and that's part of it, but mostly I think I love him so much just because of how intense he is! Jax is fierce and passionate, a little rough and untamed - he's so sexy and manly and he just completely stole my heart! 

Seduction definitely has its steamy moments, but it's so much more than just a naughty, smutty romance. It's full of heartache, beauty, passion, and love. It will make you smile and it will make your heart ache not will warm it too. Seduction was lovely, magical, and I enjoyed it so much! 

Seduction is a standalone, it's told from Jax, Lex, and Lily's POV, and they all get their happy ending.

Yeah this was so not for me, Lily is a butler who ends up being the muse for two musicians, Jax and Lex. They were in a previous threesome relationship before her, and that person died and their music suffered. Enter Lily who becomes the new love interest.

I loved reading the incorporation of the music into the seduction of Lily, both giving and holding back form the one that they love. A refusal to admit their feelings is what drives this book along to the very end when the culmination of their emotions explodes into and amazing ending.
A quick read that will suck you into a concert of sensuality and heart.

Though this book is flawless on every level. The most fascinating aspect of the story told here is the fact that Lily, although employed as the "help" in the lives and household of Jax and Lex; is more than capable of holding her own among the elite of her world. She is so at home in fact, that it often times becomes hard to see her in her role as servant. Over time, the reader becomes more accustomed to seeing her two billionaire lovers serve and adore their enchanting butler turned muse.

Coupled with the fascinating evolution of the upstairs/downstairs plot line. The time and detail given to the development of the shared eroticism between out three main characters is phenomenal. Unlike most menage reads, Seduction features a relatively slow and study build in interaction. In so doing, making room within said relationship for the readers' investment. Creating an intensely readable and surprisingly relatable fantasy experience.

Seduction by Calista Fox is the perfect story when you are looking for a quick and well written read. Lily Hart has always wanted to go to Europe so when an opportunity presents itself to make lots of money fast as a live-in butler for two billionaire classical musicians she jumps at it. What turns out as a means to an end becomes so much more as Lily becomes the muse the musicians desperately needed both in and out of the bedroom.

Ms. Fox does a great job of building a story around sexual tension in a short amount of space with her novella Seduction. Despite this being a short work there was substance to the actual relationship of this ménage à trois that made the complexity of it flow with ease. Writing a novella with a believable connection between two people is hard enough but to write one involving the interpersonal development of three people and making it credible in addition to holding the audience’s attention is commendable. Seduction is a nice mix of healing, love and dreams coming true.

'Seduction: A Bayfront Billionaire' Novella by Calista Fox is the story of by Lily, Lex and Jax.
This was a hot, easy novella read. Lily has taken a butler job and was hired for them so she had not officially met them yet. Lex and Jax are working on a new CD that has a personal history to it. But they are hitting a mental road block. But that seems to let up some when they start a fascination with Lily and it turn she has one with them. This story did have a Cinderella feel at points. The brother's also had a issue that they were dealing with that made it a little emotional.
Overall I liked this book and will look for more books by Ms. Fox.

To be honest, this story turned out to be better than I had expected, because I’m usually not a fan a menage stories. This novella was well-paced with engaging and enthralling characters. I loved the seductive taboo aspect of this story of two internationally acclaimed classical musicians and their lady butler, their chemistry was all-consuming. I enjoyed the dynamic between the three characters as the story unfolded.

Jax Sterling and Lex Alexander are childhood friends and have both reached the pinnacle of success individually, but want to catch up on their friendship and compose together. Despite their common past, they are struggling to work together and are experiencing a painful musical block. Their cooperation has reopened wounds of their past. Lily is their temporary lady butler. She is warm, lively and they are both fascinated by her. They thrive in her company and soon realize she could become the missing part of their project, their muse, providing them creative inspiration.

The seduction of Lily was well-done, with some Cinderella moments she revels in. Lily genuinely likes them, and their music speaks to her. There was a lot of sexual tension and the sexy scenes were well-written and scorching hot. Overall, I enjoyed this seductive and erotic novella, with engaging and intriguing characters, although the ending felt a bit rushed. Calista Fox is a new author to me, but I’ll definitely follow her in the future! 3.5 stars

Changing things up a little this time around and doing two reviews together since I am also participating in these two books' release blitz.

I will start by saying I have read both of these Authors before and enjoy their work. Plus, when I read the blurb for each book, I found them to be unique and they piqued my interest.
Seduction:

Another interesting twist in this book. Lily is a butler, I am not sure if or when I have read that in a book. I am sure it has been done, I just have not read one before, so I liked that aspect of the story. This is a menage romance, so you are forewarned if that is not your thing, though it is MFM so Lily gets all the attention...lol. Jax and Lex have lived and worked with other for years and were even in a menage relationship before. When the third in that relationship died unexpectedly, so did they a little and their music suffered. Lily becomes their new inspiration and sexiness ensues. All three characters are likable and there is definitely chemistry would have liked to get to know them more, maybe in a longer format would have made this not seem so rushed. This is a lead in to this new series about menage relationships in the community of Bayfront.

Intrigued and waiting to see what else this series brings.

Seduction was a good menage erotic story. For the most part I enjoyed the time spent in the sensuous world of Lex, Jax and Lily… but the ghost of a past love was also part of this grouping and that changed the tone of the book for me.

Jax and Lex are prominent classical musicians, best friends working together again on a tribute CD… which is not going as well as they’d hoped. When they meet the temporary butler, Lily their muse seems to have returned to them. The work they create with Lily in the picture is exactly what they’d hoped for. Lily herself is even more than they could ever have dreamed for themselves and their determination to make her more than a musical muse is soon obvious. Lily has plans of her own and they include making enough money to take her mother on a European vacation – and this particular job will definitely do that. What she didn’t expect was to be so moved by the music they create or by the sexual pull that both men have on her. Can she afford to lose her heart when it’s obvious as well that a ghost from their past is still very much active in these seductive men’s hearts.

Seduction earned a 3 star review from me which is a “good book” rating. While a novella can pack as powerful a story as a full length novel, this one was slow to take off for me. That and the feeling that there were four people in this paring also changed how I reacted to the story. I love a good, sexy story as much as the next person. And Seduction was good. If you enjoy MFM romance, some sexy brooding musicians and a kick butt butler then you’ll enjoy this sexy tale.

seduction finds lily hart working as a temporary live-in butler for reclusive billionaire musicians, jackson sterling and lexington alexander. finalizing their first musical collaboration in years, jax and lex find themselves frustrated. their music is good, but is missing something, and when they find themselves enchanted by lily's presence they realize that perhaps their live-in butler can provide the inspiration they were missing.

years ago, jax and lex loved the same woman, but she couldn't handle their unique arrangement and her death left them broken. (warning for those who aren't fans of ménage romances, this is one of those.) with lily they find themselves on the precipe, is she strong enough to handle a relationship with both of them? can she be everything they never thought they'd find again?

since this is a romance, of course she is. how they get there and how they make their relationship work is deftly handled. the novella format sometimes feels like it leaves you wanting more, but seduction hits all the right beats and feels like a full story in spite of the shorter format. this novella is the first in a new series from calista fox, so i expect that we'll see some of the other characters introduced briefly in this novella appear in future stories.

An erotic novella about finding love when you least expect it! Must be okay with Menage to enjoy it! It was a tad slow in the first half, but was steamy once it picked up. I enjoyed the characters.

They lost someone dear to them and stumbled to re-find their footing and move forward with life in a different direction and this CD that they are working on is meant to be a tribute and a release to let them move forward.

I'm not into books of the genre but since I was invited to review it I read it. By the cover, you would not be able to tell it is a menage story but that's what it is.

Lily while playing her role of lady butler to 2 musical geniuses helps them to overcome their musician's block by becoming their muse. She also helps them to heal and move past a tragedy the Lex and Jax shared in their pasts and find love once again.

It seems lately I have been stuck reading a lot of Novellas.. And that is okay by me. Seduction by Calista Fox was a very great short read! I was happy that it had a story line that was not all chopped up to make it finish in 11 chapters. That is how some Novella's work. You get your beginning, drama in the middle, then the quick solution in the end.

So on to Seduction. It is a MFM romance story. I love Lex and Jax. They are musicians that play not only from their heart, but from their soul. They have been broken from love once before. It seems that they have been living in purgatory that last several years. Then came Lily. A muse that these two needed. She has no clue of their past. But she is okay with that as she has a past of her own. And adding in that she is a kick ass female butler to these two studs! Talk about DREAM JOB!

When the three get hot and heavy in between the sheets, my screen practically melted! Seduction is sexy, emotional, and lively. Music can be anyone's escape! So read on fellow readers and escape into Seduction!

Lily Hart is the new live-in butler for Jackson Sterling and Lexington Alexander and has a 2 month contract while they are in residence working on their music. They are classical musicians and have not worked together for many years and have been struggling. Lily is visibly moved by their music and they are just as moved by her and she is now their muse and the music seems to be flowing. Music is not the only thing happening and seduction seems to be happening. Can they all work together successfully and make beautiful music?

I struggled with this book.

I like the idea of it, the menage aspect and the fact that it was the 2 men looking for the one woman who was it for both of them. But I didn't like the way the story developed, I thought it was too slow and that there was too much attention to given to past events to allow them to fully move forward together.

I liked the touch with the music, and I thought it was different enough to give the story an appeal, but this was not enough to overall pull me into the story.

While I am not able to recommend it, I did think the writing was strong and I liked the characters, my issue was the pacing of the story and some of the plot development devices that just didn't work for me.

There's no way I can review and express myself without some minor spoilage. While I will try to minimize it, I will flag the pertinent bits as best I can.

Lily meets and works for Lex and Jax (view spoiler) Aside from the tidbit contained in the spoiler, the pacing is off. It starts off slow and vague then goes into rushed but still remains vague. We don't get the opportunity to get to know anything of value about the characters. Lily had a cool profession and really that's all that I felt was unique about her. Lex and Jax made a sexy enough picture in their intimate scenes but offered nothing outside of those moments, in my opinion. I don't know exactly what I was expecting but I can tell you that it wasn't what I got. Perhaps someone else will see something I didn't. Safety: No rape or abuse. Yes to sharing. MFM sex.
