Two werewolf books in one volume that are the third in a series that I have enjoyed so far – not sure if there will be more in the future or if this wraps everything up.

Dangerous Passions by Kate Douglass
In this book the two last men at Feral Passions Resort find their mates. The alpha has waited a long time and when a rogue female werewolf shows up in town needing assistance he finds she is the one for him. There is a stalker-abuser werewolf or two to get rid of before they can have their HEA but it is definite they belong together. Evan and Nellie are the other love interest in this book with both having met months before but unable to forget one another. Their story is sweet and fun to read. (4 stars)

Bound to the Wolf by A.C. Arthur
This book has mythology as part of the story. It seems that the gods are involved in the creation of werewolves, jealous gods are working against werewolves on earth and other gods helping them out. There is more that can be done with this series in the future if the author is so inclined. The beginning was intense and the strength of Maren great but after she was bitten and turned she changed…a lot…but then I guess that would happen if one is turning into a werewolf and not prepared for it. Phelan stumbles across her and helps her out by being near, taking her to a safe place and then dealing with the bad guy that bit her. The two make a good pair. (3 stars)

I enjoyed both stories but felt drawn to the characters in Dangerous Passions more than those in Bound by the Wolf. I would like to thank NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the ARC. This is my honest review.

Claimed by the Mate Vol 3 is an anthology from two authors and it is a continuation of their world building about paranormal wolf shifters. In Feral Passions, the last two single male shifters finally find their own mates. There are moments of action suspense and surprisingly not as erotic as the authors previous works (specifically Wolf Tales). Still it was very engaging and excellently written as always. A quick, light but hot read.

Great read. I couldn't put it down. Look forward to reading more from the authors.

DANGEROUS PASSIONS picks up where the other books have left off: with members of the Trinity Alps pack needing mates. Alpha Traker Jakes and Evan Dark are the final two unmated members of this pack--and the vacation season has come to an end. It's frustrating to not have mates, but with all the rest of the pack now bound to women they love, Trak thinks maybe it's time to close down the Feral Passions resort for single women--and maybe restructure it into a destination wedding spot. They already have one wedding booked, and that's the last of their expected guests until spring.

Unexpected guests turn up, however. Darnell is a Hollywood make-up artist who never forgot the steamy nights she spent kissing Evan Dark--and cuddling with a wolf from the reserve. It's been months, but she has to know if Evan's still single--or interested. On an impulse she drives up from LA, and Evan's all-too-happy to rescue her when she takes a wrong turn near the resort. He'd really liked the spunky gal who'd struck a chord with him at the beginning of the summer, and has high hopes that she might join him as a mate.

Meanwhile, pack members notice Chelo, a rogue wolf running a new flower shop in nearby Weaverville. Chelo has finally managed to escape the bonds of her abusive mate, now dead. She's been on the run for years to escape his brother, Rube, who plans to continue where Jorge left off--raping and abusing Chelo for eternity. Meeting the Trinity Alps pack is such a big change, and Trak is definitely attracted to this powerful shifter who could be his perfect mate--if they can manage to get rid of Rube and his stooges.

The romances are pretty straight-forward, and have a nice amount of heat. The main stories involve Chelo's pursuers and how the pack decides to deal with it. Expect battles to the death and hot nights in the wolf reserve. While all the love stories are wrapped tight, I can imagine further books with new problems and wolf pups in the future.

In BOUND TO THE WOLF, Phelan Sava is a lycan werewolf shifter who's been cursed to never find a mate by on of the Furies. He'd turned his back on this female when it became clear she was spying on Phelan to gain access to his Alpha, Blaez. See, Blaez and his Devoted pack are being hunted by Hunters and emissaries of Olympus. Zeus wants the lycans dead--and he won't stop until this happens. Previous books brought mates to Phelan's pack, but he's not on the lookout for his own. He notices the scent of a newly-turned shifter while out for some pleasure and he stops. Because newly-turned wolves need constant physical attention, and she's clearly alone.

Marena Panos is an attorney who'd been bitten by a partner in her San Francisco firm. This dude wanted a piece of Marena however he could get her, and she fled the area when it seemed she was under investigation for his disappearance. Fair point, as she shot him in order to prevent being raped, but his body was never recovered, and the police thinks she's a killer. Driving non-stop, she rolls into Montana overcome with pain as her body struggles to assimilate the new shifter DNA. Phelan's touch and proximity is the only saving grace from her round-the-clock pain and nausea. It's not long before Phelan's touch becomes more than a balm--and their coupling seems to make all things right in Marena's new stark world.

Add to this, Marena hears her attacker's voice in her head, and Phelan's sure it's all tied to a plot to capture Blaez and destroy their pack. Phelan's not happy about his growing attraction to Marena, and the realization that she's his true mate isn't a happy one; Phelan's been abandoned by everyone he ever loved. His history is a little too bleak, I thought, but Marena's advent gives him more hope than he's ever held before.

Expect kidnapping, randy werewolves, Olympic maneuvering and dramatic rescues. This book also feels like it might end the series, but there's a window or two still open to revisit our favorite black ops wolf pack in the future. I received a review copy of this book via NetGalley.

Wonderful paranormal romance shifter reads. Both tales end in a HEA and are complete.

Sorry, but I hadn't realised this was a shifter tale. I used to read a lot of Kate Douglas, but her Wolf Tales became too boring and bogged-down with nothing but orgies, and this has the same shades. Not for me, but thanks for sending me the book.

If you are looking for a purely erotic read with more focus on the erotic, then CLAIMED BY THE MATE is the book for you.

Both stories are shifter based with hot and bothered alpha males looking for that perfect someone to slake their lust. What they find is an adventure racked with danger and other insane alphas looking to steal what they have taken for their own.

Easy, enjoyable, erotica with romance and on the side. CLAIMED by THE MATES will fit well with those who enjoy a dark erotic romance where the alpha saves the damsel from a horrific future.

Two great stories.
Dangerous Passions by Kate Douglas: Can the two lost members of the pack find their mates at long last? Darnell thinks that she has made the right decision by coming back to see Evan but what happens if he doesn't feel the same way? Can she just go back home with a broken heart or will she fight for her man? Evan is so happy to see her again, he hasn't been able to get her out of his mind but he knows that this isn't going to be easy as she has no idea about his pack and he isn't allowed to tell her unless they mate. There journey isn't going to be an easy one especially now that a rogue female has been welcomed into the pack and trouble is coming. Trak never thought that he would find his mate as he is always so busy making sure that everyone else is happy, so when Chelo comes to see him he is thrown as she is his mate. Can they really get through this and can Trak prove that he is a strong alpha and that he will keep his pack & mate safe?
Bound to the wolf by A.C. Arthur: At long last Phelan's story and man I wasn't disappointed. Marena know that something is wrong and she can't understand why her boss wants to take what isn't his and she barely escaped but not before he bites her and now he is missing and she is a suspect. She decides to run and that is where Phelan finds her and he can't leave her alone as she is going to become a lycan and he calms her.
He has to bring her to his pack as he doesn't know what else to do with her. They are both in for a big shock as they are both caught in a game and they will both either fight for each other or they will lose the one person that will love them forever? Can they beat their enemies and keep the pack safe or will Zeus destroy their Alpha? Another great book in the series full of action and many lustful sparks. I was lucky enough to receive a copy via Netgalley & the publishing house in exchange for an honest unbiased review.

I seriously can’t get enough of these authors!

What more can a reader ask for than three fabulous stories by three wonderfully talented authors? If you haven’t read these books from Volume One, then you best get cracking!

I’ll definitely be looking out for more.

Evan has been kicking himself since Darnell left but she has just blasted back into town in seek of safety. When he is the one she asks for, he feels no small measure of pride. But can he get her to stay? Darnell chatting with Evan whilst in his other form darn sweet and funny!

Traker and Chelo's story is totally different. Chelo has endured so much, slowly teased out through the story and Traker is just the medicine she needs to soother her soul.

All our boys have now found their mate/s - what am I to do now!!!

Marena is on run from her would-be rapist, all around sleazeball Davis. But she didn't escape totally unscathed it would seem. When she pulls over at a B&B, she is approached by a very large, intimidating male. Phelan is intrigued when he scents a newly made wolf in the area. But can he get her safely through her first shift?

I loved to hate Davis and really wished I could reach into the book and kill him myself! Great story, superb sexual tension and some really funny moments - lets just say Phelan puts on a certain "video" made my day!

I have been eagerly waiting to read the Feral Passions story from this book, so I was very excited to receive a copy from St. Martin's Press! Unfortunately, both stories in this book conclude the series overall and the A.C. Arthur installment really drug down the entire book.

This was an amazing conclusion to the Feral Passions series! It was a side by side romance for Traker Jakes and Evan Dark of the Trinity Alps pack, but the blurb for the story was a little misleading. Both men have an individual woman that completes them, they don't actually share one woman. I liked that we had a character return from the first short story, and that we had someone completely new come in for Trak. The new shifter was very interesting and a perfect mate for Trak! 4 out of 5 stars

Bound to the Wolf by A.C. Arthur
I really hated this conclusion, in so much as the major plot arc was not fully resolved! Phelan was a jerk, and his attitude wasn't fully explained. Marena, while a very independent woman, whined entirely too much about the turn her life had taken. I found myself very bored while reading this story and it really slowed my reading pace down. 1.5 out of 5 stars

All things considered, I would whole-heartedly purchase every book in the Feral Passions series, but would probably avoid the A.C. Arthur stories in the future.

I have, fortunately, already read the previous books in both of these series. In DANGEROUS PASSIONS, I was so happy that Trak and Evan finally found their mates. In BOUND TO THE NIGHT, I was equally happy to see Phelan get together with Marena. Both of these stories were fast-paced, action packed and, HOT!!!

When I read the blurb for Claimed By The Mate Volume 3 I was immediately interested . I was very excited when I got an arc of this book and I dived into it as soon as I possible could and I loved it.

You see that part that says Two Steamy Novels In one volume on the cover? They were not joking! these stores are smoking hot . Dangerous Passion and Bound To The Wolf are two thrilling, sexy tales that include werewolf shifters. I could not ask for more from this book it was so very good. The loved the characters whether they were good or bad each on brought something different to this story , they were all so compelling.The romance was scorching hot seriously there were time I wanted to fan my self reading while reading steamier scenes , and did I mention the shifters? I probably did lol but seriously these werewolf shifters are so fascinating i loved learning more about there world and I just want to mention they are really attractive lol . Each story was written beautifully and I was sad when I got to the end of the two story . Kate Douglas and A.C Arthur did an amazing job with this book .

Claimed By The Mate Volume 3 is a sexy , dark , thrilling ,paranormal romance book . I could not put this book down once I started it .I was completely wrapped up in these stories. I really Kate Douglas and A.C Arthur do another volume

A passion filled duo of shifter romances. The suspense and intrigue in both of the stories really made these stories stand out from the series. Both tales include dark pasts, but give each couple a hopeful future in the end.

Claimed by the Mate, Vol. 3 was such a fabulous read I really loved both Bound to the Wolf and Dangerous Passions. These story are well written and captured me within the pages from beginning to end. Great read, I look forward to reading more
