Sweet, quirky, hot as hell! Finding Kyle is a must read for any fan of Sawyer Bennett!
Kyle is a mysterious, brooding man that has a lot of secrets and regrets. There's so much more to him than his past. We get to see a side, that once he loosens up, will make any girl swoon.
Jane is quirky and I absolutely loved her movie quotes!! She never ceases to amaze me. I laughed so much while reading her POV. She definitely was a breath of fresh air.
Jane and Kyle's relationship is complicated. I understood why he wanted to distance his self but I loved how Jane wouldn't let him. She was persistent but with that can come a heartbreak like no other.
Finding Kyle is a different type of romance. A slow burn that keeps building up right until the very ending. It's not as suspenseful as I thought it would be but what it lacked in that made up in the writing and the way how Sawyer held you captivated in the story and the characters from the very first page. I absolutely loved it!
Sawyer Bennett has yet again killed it! Finding Kyle is sexy with a touch of suspense, but the real star of the show is the road to redemption that Kyle must take to get his HEA!
Kyle is back in all his delicious glory, but his road to recovery is not an easy one. Having committed atrocious crimes while working undercover, Kyle must now find a way to acclimate to his new world while hiding out from the criminals he has sent to jail. While it is heartbreaking to see him struggle with living this new life and the demons weighing him down, I love watching him come out of his shell. Kyle is led down this path of healing by the lovable heroine, Jane. Even when he turns her away and sends her mixed signals, she perseveres. She sees the goodness in him, senses his struggle, and provides him with what he needs to begin the healing process.
I love this story with its perfectly paced plot and story laced with emotion. From the beginning, the pain, torment, and self-loathing Kyle feels is enough to pull at readers' heartstrings. They yearn for him to forgive himself and to see the kind of life he could have now that his undercover job is over. Readers's desire to have Kyle forgive himself, makes the reader root for Jane. They want her to continue to show up and break down his walls. Their road though is not easy, as Kyle's internal conflict results in emotional turmoil between the two characters, and when the whole plot comes to a head at the climax, my heart broke. In true Sawyer Bennett fashion, she makes sure that these characters achieve the ending they deserve, and Kyle most certainly does!
Sawyer Bennett continues to be a one-click author for me. It honestly doesn't matter what she writes, I will read it. Her writing is always top-notch, the stories are always gripping, and the steamy scenes are so incredibly hot! Her books are guaranteed entertainment, and I can never get enough!

Kyle Sommerville is hiding out awaiting trial against a motorcycle outlaw gang that he was deep undercover with for three years, now he's going to testify against them and hopefully they will be sent to prison for the deplorable things they have done. He has been sent to a small town in Maine until trial begins. If you have read the Wicked Horse series you will remember Kyle from there.
What Kyle didn't expect while hiding out was his neighbor Jane Cresson. Jane is fun, kind, sassy, and curious to a default. Her curiosity is what drives her when it comes to her sexy new neighbor, she wants to know everything about Kyle, and the more he pushes her away the more curious she gets.
I absolutely loved the way Jane persisted even though Kyle was doing everything in his power to push her away. There was definitely chemistry between the two of them so that wasn't the issue. Jane slowly got Kyle to drop his guard a little bit. When he finally did, it was a beautiful sight.
As with other books by Sawyer Bennett you wont want to put the book down once you have started it. The characters are charming and sexy and the story plot pulls you in and doesn't let go. I think most women would find Kyle a true alpha male, but I have to say that for me, it was his softer side that drew me in. Yes this tough Alpha Male does have a softer side, it isn't as obvious as his male dominance but it's there laying just under the the sexy no-nonsense take charge attitude.
Thank the book gods!! We finally got Kyle Sommerville’s story in Finding Kyle. This badass character has popped up here and there throughout various Sawyer Bennett series and I’ve been hella curious to know his story. And Sawyer didn’t disappoint me. I fell head over heels in love with Kyle.
Although it wasn’t very easy to get to know him. See, he’s spent the few years undercover as a criminal so Kyle is a little rough around the edges. Thanks to his job, Kyle is unsure of who he has become and what he’ll do with his life. He has no idea how to live in normal society. He especially has no clue how to date after living in the biker lifestyle.
Thus the reason he fights his attraction to his neighbor, Jane. No matter how relentless she is in her efforts, Kyle believes that he isn’t good enough for her. However, she refuses to ignore their chemistry – it’s awesome because you’d expect her to give up after he rejects her a few times. But because Jane wants Kyle (and she knows he’s feeling it too), she is not willing to walk away from him.
I loved her tenacity – it made their unfolding romance fun and wicked entertaining. I was just as smitten with Kyle as Jane so I wanted her to succeed and for them to find happiness together.
Overall, I would describe their book a sexy and engaging story that left me swooning. I couldn’t believe how consumed I felt by this duo – I loved their romance and I thought they were incredible characters. So didn’t miss Finding Kyle. It’s an incredible must read love story!

*This story is for mature audiences only. Contains explicit scenes and language intended for adults 18+
SYNOPSIS:
When you’ve lived your life as a criminal…
When you’ve done unspeakable things …
When your soul has become dark and stained…
The path to redemption begins where you least expect it.
Kyle Sommerville is in hiding and doesn’t want to be found by anyone. Certainly not by his quirky, free-spirited neighbor who’s managed to push her way past the walls he’s built around him. But Jane Cresson’s indomitable will and insatiable curiosity about her reclusive neighbor makes it impossible for Kyle to stay immersed in his dark world.
Little by little, she claws through his shell.
Day by day, she gets him to smile a little more.
Night by night, they both find pleasure they never knew existed.
When Kyle’s terrible past is exposed, Jane begins to think she’s in over her head. Can her love for this broken man finally clear his path to redemption, or will Kyle’s darkness finally extinguish every bit of hope she’s put into him?
MY THOUGHTS:
I love Jane! She is a force to be reckoned with! She is an art teacher that works with middle to high school kids plus does her art free-lance on the side. She also tutors art students at her home. She has a love of movies and quotes movie lines and gives their movie title and release year! She puts in these little quips in with the conversation and Kyle just shakes his head at her. She is a riot! Jane is the eternal optimist and she is as tenuous as she is curious. Kyle her reclusive neighbor is a man she wants to figure out and she won’t take no for an answer.
Kyle is very taciturn and keeps to himself. The last thing he wants is to get involved with anyone from this small Maine town. He doesn’t plan on staying here long. He doesn’t encourage her invitations, but that doesn’t stop Jane. She keeps at him. Until he can’t deny their chemistry any longer.
There is so much to this story and I don’t want to give anything away about either Kyle or Jane. They have amazing chemistry and they both can’t deny what’s brewing between them. There is so much in Kyle’s history that he keeps secret and Jane tries to gently pry it out of him. Until it all explodes. My heart just dropped. Kyle and Jane both have a lot to work through. Kyle has to find forgiveness for himself and hopes Jane can forgive him and forgive his past.
I really enjoyed every page and I highly recommend this book!

Kyle was an undercover agent ready to take motorcycle gang sting down, all he has to do is wait till the court date to finalize things. Until then he is in hiding in a small town waiting for the day that he can go back to his old life again. In comes in nosey neighbor Jane who seems to keep making herself known by him slowly but surly finding her way into his heart. Kyle lets Jane know that what they have is only brief and that he'll be leaving soon but she's convinced she can get him to stay.
I enjoyed this book, it was interesting getting to know of Kyle's past life and what made him who he currently is. Seeing how he dealt with what he had to do for the sake of taking the program down for the good of everyone. I loved how Jane wasn't really someone two can be easily swayed. Kyle was a grumpy guy but she managed to get him to soften up a bit, loosen up enough so that they can see if there can be anything between each other. I enjoyed seeing their relationship and it was pretty spicy at time. This book was well written and I enjoyed every single moment reading it. It was a pretty great book. Overall highly recommend you lovely readers to check this book out.
I have hoped for a book about Kyle since I first saw him in The Wicked Horse series. So when I saw Finding Kyle, I couldn't jump on it fast enough!
Kyle doesn't have the best past... and he's seen some haunting things. To me he was the brooding hero with a hard shell.
If Kyle was the dark hero, then Jane was light and we all know the darkness is always drawn to the light. Jane was so quirky and funny and determined to crack his shell... you can't help but love her. Especially her funny little quotes.
I've never read a book by Sawyer Bennett that I didn't like. She makes all her characters relatable and this story was no different. I love when a story like this one pulls you in and gives you a front row seat. Finding Kyle was very 5 star worthy!
~ A Hopeless Romantic's Booklandia, 5 Stars
I could never do what Kyle did. To give up your life to save many is noble and heroic. When having his only family think him dead until he could be out of danger was hard for him. Getting close to someone while still in danger, is difficult for Kyle too.
Jane was quirky, artistic and as stubborn as Kyle. I found her coping mechanism of reciting movie quotes and their release years endearing. I am happy to say I knew every quite, just not their years.
Moving story. Reminds you that you find love, it might not be convenient, but hold onto it with both hands and never let it go. If you do, make sure you go back and get it.

5 amazing stars
The first books I read by Sawyer Bennett was her Wicked Horse series, and I loved them. I fell in love with the way she manages to spin a tale in such a way that the story jumps out from the pages and into reality. In the Wicked Horse series we meet so many new characters but it's also where we first meet Kyle, the undercover cop who risks his life to get as much information about the motorcycle club by infiltrating the ranks. He gets a second chance at living a 'normal' life when he moves in next to Jane the woman whose curiosity and good heart threatens him since all he sees is a broken, cruel man and a man who has done unspeakable things.
4 breath taking dreams
Emotional doesn't quite cut it when you come to think about his book - Finding Kyle makes you think and believe in a second chances. You can feel the struggle that Kyle goes through daily and the way that he fights his inner demons, giving you a good reason why Jane is attracted to him. Even after all the horrors he's been through, Kyle is still a good man. Sawyer Bennett is a great storyteller and I always look forward to her books and one this is certain - I will be following her closely to find out what she has in store for her readers.

Reviewed by Kathleen, The Small Girl from A small girl, her man and her books
The title for Sawyer Bennett’s newest release, Finding Kyle, has a number of significant connotative meanings for Kyle and Jane’s story, and all of them signify both internal and external issues that Kyle must face and ultimately deal with in productive and secure ways, so he can heal and protect himself from his past acts.
But this search is not an easy one for anyone involved in Kyle’s life because no one, not even Kyle himself, knows how to help Kyle deal with the monster he had to become when he was deep uncover with the Mayhem’s Mission MC for the past three years.
One meaning of the title deals with Kyle searching for the man he used to be before he lived in filth and committed heinous crimes that would have put him in jail in any other situation. The darkness that he had to delve into in order to prove his loyalty to the motorcycle club is not something that he can free himself from in a short amount of time and with the self-disgust he holds, it’s unclear if the Kyle he was before he went uncover will ever reappear.
Another interpretation of Finding Kyle is the fact that there are corrupt people after him…those he betrayed…those he sent to jail…those who want revenge. As long as Kyle remains isolated and stays out of trouble, he should be in the clear, but there’s always a chance, especially with the type of power those evil doers wield that his location may be found out and the people who want him dead just might have a chance to make it a reality.
In my opinion, the one explanation for the title that holds the most significance is Jane helping Kyle find the person he truly wants to be…despite the situation…despite the risks…despite the secrets he’s keeping for her own protection. Kyle is not an easy person to get to know and even though there are reasons for his aloofness and antisocial tendencies, he needs Jane more than he ever thought possible, and even though Kyle feels he can’t be fixed, especially by someone as pure as Jane is, Jane gives Kyle a reason to let the sunshine in and perhaps find a way to be a new and improved Kyle, one who can offer more than just glorious sex.
I loved Kyle and Jane’s story…there’s a rawness to it, which is exactly the grittiness that I adore about Sawyer Bennett’s writing. Kyle is a hardened man, but Jane is the perfect spunky and caring woman to soften Kyle’s edges and get him to loosen up with one of her multitude of movie references that can’t help but make him shed some of his harshness despite his every effort to remain aloof and unattached.
Finding Kyle is a passionate and soul searching story that speaks to the idea of identity and how the very qualities that make a person who he is can be lost under dramatic and distressing situations, changing him forever and forcing him to redefine who he is at his very core, which might mean losing a part of himself and ultimately never getting it back.
4.5 Poison Apples (The Fairest of All Book Reviews)
Finding Kyle intertwines two of Sawyer Bennett's most popular series. Who knew that Kyle would end up on the Outer Banks of NC with his sister??? I actually never caught that in the Last Call and Wicked Horse books.
Kyle was a favorite surprisingly in the Wicked Horse series and I was not happy when I thought he was dead. But no, he is in his own form of witness protection. When his new neighbor Jane sets her sights on him, it's all he can do to try to resist her and protect her from the things he had to do for years.
I really enjoyed the book. It had just the right amount of suspense and that make it keep my interest. I'm happy to see that Kyle had another chance at life.

I LOVE this book. I love that Jane sees the REAL Kyle. I love that she does NOT take his horse hockey! I love that Kyle begins to see himself through Jane’s eyes, that he is NOT the man he portrayed for years for the ATF. But what I LOVED most…. NOPE, you must read this fabulous book. I will not give anything further away. I am glad Ms. Bennett told Kyle‘s story.
I really appreciate the way Sawyer Bennett writes. She takes you into her stories in a way that take you away from some of the not so good things that may be going on in a person’s life. I know she did for me this week. Thank you, Sawyer Bennett!
Thank you for reading my review.

**sigh**
I think I have to maybe step away from Sawyer Bennett for a minute and maybe come back much later because in all honesty, I think I may have only enjoyed 2 of her releases from the past year ... I can't say that Finding Kyle was a bad read, but I can say she can and has done a hell of a lot better with character development and plot development. The actual conflict in this story should have been explosive yet it was written as if it was just another moment in time. There is nothing about our hero's past and circumstance that is just a 'moment in time'.... I'm not going to nitpick the entire story-line to illustrate my point so I'll just leave it at that...
On the plus side, the sexy was ridic sexy :) so there's that!

Being a huge fan of Sawyer's I couldn't wait to read this book. Now add the fact that we are getting Kyle's story after getting a few peeks of him in other books, I was super excited. He most definitely was worth the wait. This man who lived through a nightmare life for such a good reason, but so suffered from guilt who was now hiding away. Can I just say how much I loved Jane for him? The quirky movie quoting neighbor who wasn't going to give up on him even when he had essentially given up on himself. LOVED her. She cracks that wall he has erected over his heart and he fell head over heart for her. I so enjoyed their story.
I give Finding Kyle 5 hearts!
FINDING KYLE by Sawyer Bennett is stand alone, erotic, romance story line focusing newcomer to Misty Harbor, Maine handyman Kyle Sommerville, and art teacher/artist Jane Cresson. Kyle was first introduced in Sawyer’s Shaken Not Stirred and Wicked Bond; Kyle’s sister Andrea’s story can be found in With A Twist. You do not have to have read the previous story lines to follow or understand FINDING KYLE.
Told from dual first person points of view (Kyle and Jane) FINDING KYLE focuses on the building but short lived relationship between brooding handyman Kyle Sommerville, and artist Jane Cresson. Kyle Sommerville is in hiding; his past is dark and his future potentially darker, and with it he must keep secret the truth about himself. Finding a temporary place in Misty Harbor comes with the solitude our hero wants and needs but his perky and sexy new neighbor Jane Cresson isn’t willing to take no for an answer. Jane continues to push all of Kyle’s buttons worming her way into our hero’s life until his past comes back looking for revenge. What ensues is the building relationship between Kyle and Jane, and Kyle’s struggle to keep from losing his heart.
Kyle knows his time in Misty Harbor is limited, and starting any sort of relationship goes against everything he believes but Jane Cresson is determined to uncover what makes her new neighbor tick. When Kyle is unable to promise anything but the present, Jane reluctantly goes along hoping their relationships does not have an expiry date. The sex scenes are intimate, seductive and intense.
We are introduced to Jane’s best friend Miranda-a bar tender who isn’t afraid to tell it like it is, as well as Jane’s parents who are hoping for their daughter to settle down. Kyle’ sister Andrea has a very small role at the end of the story.
FINDING KYLE is a story of romance, heartbreak, secrets and lies. Kyle’s journey has been long and difficult; he carries a heavy burden of guilt that will not soon be alleviated but when the truth is revealed our heroine is unable to let go of the pain and hurt. The premise is creative; the characters are intelligent and dynamic; the romance is passionate and moving. FINDING KYLE crosses two series, 4 story lines, and a broken man finally gets his happily ever after.

Holy cow another great and phenomenal read by Sawyer Bennett! I absolutely loved Kyle & Jane's story! It is sweet and romantic with some twist and turns. It pulled and sucked me in from page one. I was happy to see that Kyle got his HEA with Jane! The chemistry between the two of them are off the charts and this hits all the feelers! A must one click today!
3,5 stars. Damaged hero and sweet, quirky heroine meet themselves when he doesn’t think he deserves the good in his life, and she is determined to help him.
About the plot: Kyle is a cop who worked as a undercover agent in a dangerous biker gang for several years. Now when they were captured by the police, he is forced to hide as a important witness. Moved to a small town where he will be working as the lighthouse caretaker, seems an appropriate place to stay low. If not for gorgeous neighbor who doesn’t give up to know him better.
Jane is a art teacher and good girl who loves her small town life. When a mysterious and handsome neighbor moved into the next house, she is fascinated by him and wanted to introduce herself. Sadly, he is not interested in new friendships. His attempts to keep her at bay, however aren’t woring. She sees the damaged man, and is determined to add some color into his life.
Final thoughts: It’s a beautiful story in which something was missing for me.
I love those moments when he is trying to hide that he likes her. I also love the way she pushes into his life. Her pursuit, stubbornness and joyful personality. It was fun and engaging.
Also as always with the Sawyer Bennett, you can count on a well-written and sexy scenes. There are good and hot as hell. Especially with Kyle’s dirty talk and imagination for painting tools.
I also like in her books that you often can count on some combination with the characters from previous stories. Personally, I like stuff like that. This book is a standalone, but for someone who knows a characters from the earlier books, it is always special cool. And there are the connection!
For what I have reservations, it’s the plot could be faster and more complex. I think storyline and heroes background had more potential than has been used. It was supposed to be suspense, and not entirely is.
Otherwise, with Sawyer Bennett you can always count on a good story and a nice evening spent with a book. After all, in this case, there was not different.
