I have not heard of Astrophotography before this book. Recently a colleague showed me pictures of the sky that he had taken. Now it is more real to me how these camera techniques really do make pictures that are amazing. I have seen the picture where the photographers explain that they track the movement of the stars makign pictures like the cover. If you are new to the Art of Astrophotography, jump on the wagon.

I love looking at photographs with the night sky but never knew how it was actually done. Ian Morison's book reveals the secrets simply so you can finally produce your own amazing astrophotography. The photos in here are wonderful and really add to the book. I really don't think there are in any books like this so I would really recommend this to those who are interested in photography.

An excellent guide for photographers hoping to take a halfway-decent picture of the night sky or the moon. It's quite technical and definitely aimed toward more experienced photographers rather than hobbyists. A great resource altogether. Contains a lot of great advice for digital photo editing of astrophotography as well.
