The story of the Wilde family has captured me from the very first book Montana Cherries. The back story of these children and how they are coping as adults makes for a very captivating read. I have read all three books so far and have to say I have loved them all! I cannot pick a favorite. In this book Montana Mornings it follows oldest son Gabe Wilde and his young daughter Jenna's struggles to overcome their current situation. When Jenna's teacher is none other than Gabe's college girlfriend things become even stickier in dealing with those situations. This book had complex characters, they are well developed and you actually feel their pain and their happiness. Do yourself a favor and buy all of these books and read them! That way you can be like the rest of us anxiously awaiting the next story of the Wilde's of Birch Bay.

A wonderful title about two people who can find their way back to each other and deserve a second chance with each other! So well written and very easy to read--I loved the opportunity of having read this book as an advance prior to publication. A happy and most satisfying read--thank you again!

I have been waiting to learn more about Gabe's story since he was first introduced and I was not disappointed. Kim writes Gabe's character so well. He is trying to be a good Dad, but he isn't perfect and at times is nowhere close, and that makes him in some ways even more likable. Erica on the other hand sometimes comes off as a little too perfect but is also exactly what Gabe and Emma need. This is a well written story about the struggle of a Dad trying to figure out how to be a Dad and help his daughter live in a world with a broken family he isn't able to fix and also a second chance romance. Fans of Kim Law will love this book and anyone who is looking for a story with heart will want to pick this book up as well.

Second chances. We are lucky to get them! Gabe and Erica are both extricating themselves from less that perfect marriages. They are looking to heal, they find each other and realize sometimes you have to go through the pain in order to find what you deserve. It was a stunning story.

A single dad and a wary single woman what more could you ask for in a story. I like how the story developed among the characters. I appreciated how the author dealt with the angst of a young girl. This is a story about how we cannot predict how our choices will turn out. I have the read the series now to see how Gabe have grown. You can read this book in a day. It is a quick and enjoyable read.

The next installment in the Montana Cherries series is just as sweet and hot as the ones that preceded it. You won’t want to miss this if you enjoyed the series so far. It takes us back to Birch Bay where Gabe Wilde has settled with his daughter Jenna and has become a science teacher. He left the family orchard and went to the city to save his marriage – that was a colossal failure which was about to be remedied. All he wanted was to start over and give his daughter a stable life with family around her who actually loved her.

He’d wasted too much time trying to do what every expected of him and now he was doing what he wanted. But Jenna wasn’t going to make it easy for him. The poor girl didn’t know why her mother didn’t want or love her so she reacted the only way she knew how – by acting out and getting attention. It’s what her mother did and it seemed to work for her.

Erica Bird had to get away from her ex and her parents and live her own life. She knew she did but quitting her job and taking a short term substitute position in Birch Bay wasn’t exactly what she planned. Now she just had to make the most of it and take life as it came. Jenna Wilde wasn’t in her plan but the minute she met her, she knew the child needed love and a little discipline.

When Erica finds out that Gabe, her college boyfriend, is the girl’s father, she begins to wonder if she’s gotten in too deep with a student. Gabe’s soon to be ex doesn’t help things when she tries to interfere. Tough challenges ahead for both of them that will either make or break their futures.

I received an ARC from the author for an honest and unbiased review. No compensation was promised or received in exchange for the review.

This was an amazing story that held me captivated from the first page. Book 3 of the The Wildes of Birch Bay series can easily be read standalone although we have read about Gabe in prior books. This book gives us his whole story and it's an emotional ride you don't want to miss. Gabe and his young daughter Jenna are back in Birch Bay. After giving his marriage everything he had he knows it's time to start over. Not only for his sake but for his daughters as well. Jenna is struggling with the changes and Gabe has a meeting with her new teacher. Little does he know that Erica Bird, an old college girlfriend is that teacher. Erica is struggling with demons from her past as well. Will these two be willing to act on the newly developing feelings or will they hold back their hearts in fear of being hurt again??

This book is filled with all the emotions you look for in a good romance. Don't miss it. I highly recommend it to everyone.

This story was a nice addition to the Wilde family saga. We get to follow Gabe Wilde as he returns home with his daughter after a failed marriage and with a new career as teacher and coach. As he and his daughter struggle with their new life, Gabe reunites with Erica, his college girlfriend and daughter's new teacher. Erica is also struggling with life after a very public failure of her own marriage. Like the first two books, this latest is also an emotional, painful journey from disfunctional upbringing to HEA. Well worth the read!

Montana Morning by Kim Law......Loving this series and this book is as amazing as the other two. Kim Law as away of hitting all the emotion buttons and keeps you flipping pages. Gabe and Erica both have issues they need to work through, but I enjoyed watching the story unfold. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Montana Mornings, by Kim Law, is the third book in The Wildes of Birch Bay series. This series is absolutely amazing, each novel focusing on a member of the Wilde family. Even though this is part of a series, it can be read as a standalone novel. However, I would strongly recommend reading the first two books in the series, Montana Cherries and Montana Rescue. Gabe Wilde apears in the previous books, and reading them will give you the insight into Gabe and Jenna's story and how they ended up where they are in this current installment.

Gabe Wilde is going through a lot of changes in his life. He has just left California, and his soon to be ex-wife, Michelle. He has returned to his hometown of Birch Bay, Montana, with his daughter, Jenna. Gabe is trying to start over, including a new career as a high school teacher and football coach. More importantly, he is trying to do right by his daughter, but that is easier said than done. Jenna has been difficult lately, and Gabe is at a loss on how to deal with her constant tantrums and mood swings that are a result of the divorce. To make matters even more complicated, Jenna's new second grade teacher, Erica Bird, just happens to be Gabe's college girfriend and also his new neighbor.

Erica Bird has also just relocated to Birch Bay, and will be teaching second grade as a substitute teacher. She left her hometown and the teaching job that she loved in order to start over. Like Gabe, she has her own set of personal problems that she is trying to deal with. Her ex-husband not only cheated on her, but he did it with a close friend of Erica's, and to make matters even worse, he got her pregnant. Even with everything her ex put her through two years ago, she still can't seem to let him go. Determined to try to move on, she focuses on her new teaching job. Her experience as a teacher helps her to recognize when a student is having problems. In this case, this only leads to more complications, becuse the student is Jenna Wilde.

Kim Law is an amazingly detailed storyteller, that always offers great insight into the emotions of her characters! The story that unfolds is extremely well written and thoroughly engaging. The relationship between Gabe and Erica gets off to a rocky start, but through it all, they both have only the best intentions for Jenna. It is completely obvious that the chemistry is still there, and you can't help but to want to see these two people finally find the happiness they both deserve. Family plays a huge part in this story...both Gabe's family, as well as Erica's. I love the focus on the children in the story, and felt the author did a great job in the way she handled dealing with the problems Jenna is facing. I also enjoyed that the characters from her previous books in the series are also a part of this story because you are able to find out what they are up to as well.

Kim Law knows exacty when to be serious with her writing, and when to inject humor into the story. Her writing style will make you feel as if you know the characters, and her realistic views on every day problems always make the story easy to relate to. Overall, this is just a wonderfully written, heartwarming, and realistic book that focuses on family, relationships, and children. I honestly can't stress just how good this book truly is, and also the previous two books in this series! You will not be disappointed! I am looking forward to the next book in the series, which I am hoping will be the story about Gabe's brother, Cord.

Gabe Wilder is back in Birch Bay with his daughter sans wife. The divorce s finally going through and they can move on in their new life.
Erica Bird is also moving on with life hired at the school for one semester he takes the coolest apartment and tries to move her life along.
She is not expecting to have the Gabe Wiilder's daughter in her class or to wake up one morning and he is moving across the street. This cannot be good they have a past and it did not end well. She needs to get her ex to leave her alone and he needs to straighten out his daughter. They decide to take it slow and see where things go.
This is my favorite book in the Wilder series. I really loved the way the characters mesh together and also seeing the changes in the old characters.

I had read book 2 of this series, and was looking forward to Gabe Wilde’s story. There were moments I liked it very much, others that I felt it dragged a tad, and then at times I just wanted to shake Gabe and Erica.
The basis of the story is that Erica is in Birch Bay working as substitute elementary school teacher and one of her students is the daughter of Gabe, her college boyfriend.
Both have issues. Erica has been divorced 2 years but still is in contact with her cheating husband. While Gabe is trying to finalize his divorce to a greedy and devious woman. In the midst of it all, he is also dealing with a daughter who is now constantly misbehaving and troubled.
The book not only highlights the effects of divorce not only for the adults and children, but that our experiences we have as children will mold us as adults.
A complex subject in which there is lots of hurt and usually are no winners. Thought provoking to say the least.
I was gifted this book by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I adore Kim Law as an author. She is almost an auto-buy for me. However, I found this book to be really slow and a tad dull. It was a little long and while it was well-written, the story did not flow for me. This will not stop me from buying other books. No author is perfect. This was a large miss for me.

Another great story by Kim Law! Montana Mornings is a great second chance romance with all of the emotions, tensions & entanglements that come with two people who have been disappointed in love so far in their lives. Gabe has filed for a divorce, moved both him & his daughter home to Birch Bay & started his new career as a science teacher/football coach. After being married to a narcissist, he just wants to fix things for his daughter & be happy. Until he met his daughters' substitute teacher, Ms. Bird. Whom he dated in college. Whom he broke up with to get together with the narcissist.

Ms. Erica Bird isn't sure if she made the right decision this time. Due to a personal issue coming to a head, she quit her tenured teaching job, moved to a different town & took a temporary teaching position. Until one of her students' parents walked into the room. She knew there was a possibility of running into him but not like this.

This story really details everything that can go into divorces & all of the problems people have getting past it & learning to trust again. It would have been easy for it to become a depressing tale but Ms. Law had a light touch & instead it became a story of new beginnings. Gabe's daughter Jenna inspired sympathy & concern as she worked through her feelings & became an integral part of the story. The descriptive nature of the writing enabled you to picture Erica's unique apartment & feel as if you were in the room with her. Overall, I found this to be a wonderful book with some twists I wasn't expecting & I couldn't put it down.

After filing for divorce from his wife, Gabe Wilde has returned to his hometown with his daughter, Jenna. He is teaching at the high school and is the head football coach. Gabe wants to get his life in order and help Jenna adjust. He has lots of family who want to help him with this but he refuses to lean on anyone. He’s determined to handle it all alone.

Erica has been divorced for 2 years but has had a difficult time moving on. She relocates to Birch Bay to start over. She is a grade school teacher and very good at her job. Erica has some significant self-esteem issues and baggage from her ex. She sees herself as average looking and boring.

Gabe and Erica dated for 2 years in college before breaking up and going back to their respective hometowns. Gabe had met his ex and Erica wanted to try again with her high school sweetheart, now her ex.

Erica hasn’t quite moved on from her ex and Gabe is dealing with Jenna’s insecurities, his two jobs and getting his divorce finalized. Yet, when these two meet again, sparks ignite. The personal and relationship issues are very believable and relatable. The author does a good job of showing how all the issues get worked out, not just telling us.

I loved the refurbished firehouse with the pole left intact! My curiosity is piqued with wanting to get Arsula’s story. Cord too! This can be read as a standalone, but you get a lot of Gabe and Michelle’s history in book two. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC provided by NetGalley.

Once again we are involved in the Wilde family in Montana as we learn more about Gabe Wilde as he moves back to Birch Bay with his daughter.

Gabe and his daughter are suffering from the breakup of his marriage. With a young daughter who misses her mom despite being neglected by her. He is trying to make a new start taking a job as a teacher and football coach at the local high school while his daughter moods go from one extreme to the next as she lashes out in her own way.
He runs into his old college girl friend who is his daughter temporary teacher Erica Bird whom he dumped when he meet his daughter’s mom. She is still recovering from her own divorce after her husband cheated on her and got her friend pregnant.

They find themselves living next door to each other as things start to reheat between them and feelings are rekindled. But what will happen when his soon to be ex wife returns on the scene wanting to be a mom to their daughter after months has passed? Another winner in the series.

As a teacher I was particularly interested in the plot of this book. A great read!

A realistic approach to the dynamics of divorce/getting back together that each of the main characters goes through, something that can be tiresome and a bit morbid to the others but that makes sense to the people involved, until they find strength to finally get out of the relationship.
I liked the romantic plot and the main characters, both teachers, and I loved the hero’s somehow difficult relationship with his daughter. Portraying Gabe’s ex-wife in such a negative light is too black and white for me.
Overall I enjoyed all the secondary characters and relationships and I am really curious about the enigmatic Cord Wilde…
