Unfortunately, Arousal is not my cup of tea. Arousal was well written and I liked the "I have to woo her in 6 days" plot line, but I didn't like Nicolai at all, and for me that's a deal breaker in a romance book. The knowing everything about her before they met and the taking over her work stuff and putting her in a bad position with her boss (even though she was a complete bitch and deserved to be put in her place) just didn't do it for me. I have friends who really dig the overbearing alpha male and would definitely recommend Arousal to them, but it wouldn't be a recommendation to a casual romance fan or those that aren't in to the overbearing alpha male.

Thank you for the opportunity to review Arousal.

Billionaire Nicolai and his PR account exec Allison are fated to confess their love by the 6th date, as prophesied by his seer Grandmamma , but I was already hooked on Day 1... and could not put this book down when nightfall came to make it to Day 2. I enjoyed this sexy fairytale and am hoping there's are separate happily ever afters for Nicolai's cousin Vlad, the gorgeous model, and Allison's millionaire-searching co-worker Aisha.

I'll be honest, I'm still confused about what happened in this book and whether or not there were actually vampires involved (it's a long story), but HOLY CRAP Y'ALL THIS WAS A FUN READ. The banter! I'm a sucker for banter. I've already tweeted about it and convinced at least 3 people to read it.

Wow, this book so far. Even if you at a bit jaded as I am. The elderly woman wanting the best to help her devilishly handsome grandson. The elderly lady whisks a prayer off to love. Just like in Romeo and Juliet, Or in Snow White, true loves kiss. Will set you free. And unleash the passion and serenity that two will forever harness.

I melted with the prayer/ magic spell.

MORE books need to be like this. Lovers passion in a cynical world
I'd recommend this title to anyone.

Really enjoyed this book. I loved the Romani/fate storyline. It was different and well thought out. This was my first novel by Rose and it won't be my last.

Stuck in a lift between floors in a high rise building with a gorgeous Alfa male Alison Monroe who has a fear of confined spaces starts to hyperventilate. Then this gorgeous man kisses her.
A total stranger Nicolai Petre tell her that they are destined for each other and proposes marriage to her.
In utter disbelief she refuses him but he has other ideas and asks for six consecutive days to change her mind.
Six days to win her over six days of toe curling ecstasy until she relents that if she will.
This is exceptional erotic fiction which keeps the reader enthralled and tantalised fron beginning to end.

I liked the cover, blurb and idea of this book. I liked that handsome billionaire Nicolai Petre has six days to win the heart of his true love, a soul mate who's against marriage, commitment and relationships.
This started well and had so much potential, the prologue sets the scene for what's to come.

The elderly woman called for her nurse and asked for help sitting up in bed. Frail and growing weaker, her days as matriarch and grand prophet for her clan were winding down. She had but one remaining goal before she left this world: to ensure her eldest grandson found true love. And that she passed her powers to him and his beloved. It was his birthright. It was her need. He had a tradition to uphold, and the family legacy must pass securely to him.

And so Nicolai meets his true love and while she feels the instant attraction she fights it and so a deal is struck, six dates over six days and then she has to decide if she loves him.
Like I said I liked the idea of this and it started well but it all became a bit samey and seemed to drag at times and therefore I found myself skimming.
I wondered at times if it would go the Vampire route and I felt all the way through it was a possibility.
As I said I felt it dragged at times but then towards the end of the book and with the introduction of Vlad it became like a race to the finish line and I was left with so many questions so I'm assuming this is either the first in a new series or book 1 of 2.
This isn't all bad although Allison did annoy me at times but I felt it just needs to be tighter with some cut from the middle and more added at the end because all the ingredients are here it just needs to be sharper.
