Great insight into the Spiritual unseen world of Angels. Alot can be learned in this book and gives you a deeper understanding.

Interesting overview of what the Bible says about angels but a very narrow theme which will not be suitable for many readers.

I was really excited to get my hands on this book and read it. I always find the subject of angels interesting. And Jennifer's word about angels this year really intrigued me.

I appreciate Jennifer acknowledging that she has struggled with how to handle angels, meaning we never want to elevate them higher than Jesus but they do have their place.

She talked about a lot a great things that will empower you and she expounds upon harvesting what we sow and what does that look like in our everyday lives.

With that being said I didn't love this book, it was just okay for me, unfortunately. I didn't walk away feeling all fired up like I was hoping I would. It was a good but it just didn't live up to what I hoped it would be for me.

A copy of this book was given to me through Netgalley.com. All opinions are my own.

Book that’s more about Principles of Biblical Living than Angels!

Maybe I misunderstood the book description, but I thought this book was going to be about angels.

After one chapter about what angels actually do (chapter 2 – 5 pages long), the next nine chapters of the book focus on all of the scriptures in the Bible that claim prosperity and blessings. While I understand that it’s important to set a foundation for the principle of sowing and reaping, I felt that the book focused too heavily on tithing, reaping the same kinds of seeds you sow, reaping in a future season, reaping according to your faith, etc. I felt that the book focused a lot on the financial benefits of sowing, (including the idea to set aside an auto-payment each month, considering large one-time gifts, etc.). Only problem is that I know many amazing Christians who sow quite a lot for the kingdom and know all of these scriptures by heart and claim them over their lives…but financial blessings are not where they are most blessed. In fact, many of Jesus’ disciples devoted their whole lives to kingdom work and never saw the financial blessings poured out in this life. Paul says that he was beaten three times, stoned, starving, ship-wrecked, sleep deprived, etc. I would hate for someone to have the impression that Paul just needed to sow more and have greater faith to receive his blessings.

Jennifer makes a claim at the beginning of the book that it is “a season of the release of angels of abundant harvest. Those who are serving the Lord with right motives are about to see an abundant harvest, according to the measure they’ve sown in obedience. God is releasing the angels to bring in the harvest.” I thought there might be some additional insight to back up her prophecy. How has she seen God move with angels in abundant harvest? How did she receive this word? Why have all those scriptures been in the Bible and been dormant all these years and now there will be a release of the blessings?

As I read through the book, I was looking for those answers but never found them. Instead, it was a great read and reinforcement on the good principles of Christian living: the power of the tongue, the law of binding and loosing, not grieving the Holy Spirit or the angels, the importance of breaking generational curses, etc.

Although there were some important points shared about the role of angels: messenger, offer direction, protection, go to war for you, I didn’t find that this book lived up to the title and for that reason I gave it a 2 out of 5 stars.

I received a complimentary e-copy of this book from netgalley.com in exchange for my fair and unbiased review.

If you are sensitive to the prophetic, you do not want to ignore this text. This confirmed many things I have been sensing as a prophetic dreamer/seer. The text is easy to read and very to the point. Jennifer's voice is sharp and astute and always backed with scripture. This is a powerful text!
