Prized is the second book in the Birthmarked series by Caragh O'Brien and it follows Gaia Stone as she makes her way through the Wasteland with nothing but her baby sister and supplies. I was excited to continue Gaia's story and think fans of the first book will be anxious to get their hands on this title.

I won't be able to leave a review for this book; I requested it in a past lifetime of my NetGalley use (over ten years ago) and it no longer fits with my reading interests. If I ever do end up reading it I'll come back and update this!

I really enjoyed this book - the whole trilogy actually. Generally with a trilogy, the first book is the best, but I found that not to be the case with this one. The second book introduced some new characters and a new society, but the main character still stayed strong and true to herself. It was as good if not better than the first one. I would highly recommend this trilogy to anyone who likes a strong female character and dystopian reads.
