This is a different take on the lore of vampires. It was full of action and surprises to make it a fun read overall. I like when a vampire story surprised you with a bit of science fiction instead of being straight paranormal.

Kali D’Angelo is a normal girl, but she has a secret. Every other day she is not human. She hunts supernatural creatures that threaten people.But with a limited amount of time can Kali save a popular girl from an otherworldly being.

The characters and the world weren't flushed out completely. I liked that there were demons, hellhounds and other creatures in the book but there were some tropes in this book that I am not a huge fan of.

I'm going through the books I requested pre-2018 when I stopped blogging to clean up my NetGalley TBR and this was on the list. I don't think it's a book for me anymore and will not be reviewing at this time, but if I do read it, I will update this review. Thank you for the opportunity.

I won't be able to leave a review for this book; I requested it in a past lifetime of my NetGalley use (over ten years ago) and it no longer fits with my reading interests. If I ever do end up reading it I'll come back and update this!

I enjoyed some aspects but overall not a life-changing read for me. The overall tone of the book did not appeal to me, sadly, and I never moved past that issue.

Not a review, just dropping a note to let you know I am trying to clean up my netgalley and if I can't find the book on my kindle then it either did not get downloaded or got lost when I changed ereaders and I don't have it. I am only putting a star on these because you are making use do stars whether I want to or not.

the premise of this book was just weird. I couldnt' get into it which is a pity because I have enjoyed other books by this author very much.
