I am voluntarily reviewing a copy of Treasures in Dark Places through the publisher and Netgalley:
This is the story of a woman who decided to go out into the world and helping those in horrible situations. She goes out and reaches girls in Villages who have been victims in the Sex Trafficking Trade.
Leanna had gone to India to get away, but in the end she saw a serious need and worked with it.
Despite her parents making only around $400 dollars a month in the 1970's they managed to scrimp and save to Getz Leanna several ponies through her childhood. Her Mom was a waitress, and her Dad sold and installed windmills that pumped water.
Leanna came from a Jewish background, but comes to know the love of Jesus.
Leanna goes to serve others, but while in India she learns her Fathers prostate cancer spread to his bones, and her Mom needs her to come home.
I give Treasures in Dark Places five out of five stars.
Happy Reading.
We have such an amazing God! Reading this book it's hard not to notice how important the Kindom of God is and we need to step up to the plate!
I don't know how to say about this book because this book is just WOW!! This is a book about holy romance, spiritual warfare, missionary journey, face to face with God, the heart of Jesus for all people. At first I have no idea what this book is about, after reading this book, I knew immediately that this book is one of the books that changes my life.
I'm a Christian, I met Jesus in my life but sometimes I forget about who He is, how powerful He is, and his mercy and love is everlasting. For the last 2 years, I have been going through difficult times with no answer from God. The enemy always says that God forget about me.
After reading this book, I knew God never left my side, His love is for EVERYONE, Jesus cares so much, even for the sinner. This book is a reminder and an eye-opener for me.
I've never heard about the author before, but after reading this book I searched in the internet about her at Youtube and very happy that I found some of her sermons there.
Thank you Chosen Books, NetGalley, and Leanna Cinquanta for this book!
