These are my Happily Ever After Novel Thoughts...

How many of you are list makers? How many of you are single? How many of you drink wine? How many of you answered 'yes' to all three questions? Those of you did may be in for a surprise with this book.

I am a 'no' to all three questions and I loved this book! Cassie is your everyday, (extra)ordinary type of girl. She's passionate about her job but wishes she could connect with her sisters on more than what's on The List.

Simon is the computer repair shop owner, and the lucky guy to be on hand when Cassie needs her laptop repaired. He's not your typical computer geek millionaire.

These two have undeniable chemistry and are fun to read. I very much enjoyed their sexploits.

My dick responds like she’s called it by name and offered a Scooby Snack, and I realize I want her more than I’ve wanted anyone in ages.

This book is fun, quick, and wild. It does give you a great nugget of advice:

“For safety’s sake, no naked grilling.”

Grab this book, make a list (wine, snacks, BOB or Buzz(?)), and find your Happy Ending.

4.5****

This was a fun, sexy ride from the very beginning. From the way they met until the very last page, Simon and Cassie sparkled. I loved their adventures with her list. Very inspiring if your own love life needs a little excitement. I thoroughly enjoyed the scenes with Cassie and her sisters as well as Simon with his. I wish we would have had a little more on the reasoning behind their time apart, not for us the readers, but for the characters. The epilogue was so very sweet and loving and read with a smile on my face. I hope another book is in the works for a certain character.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher through Netgalley.

Simon and Cassie are made for each other. Sexy and smart these "nerds" are unconventional as is their relationship. Simon is tired of women falling all over him because he's rich so he keeps that a secret when he meets Cassie. Cassie has some secrets of her own, one of which involves a sexy bucket list. Simon thinks he can help her out with that and red hot romance ensues.

Simon and Cassie have such fabulous chemistry. This story was both super sweet and sexy hot. It’s a decadent treat.

Simon and Cassie are so perfect in this story in their averageness. Their chemistry heats this story, but it is also a bit of their “average joe” life that makes it easy for the audience to associate with the characters and therefore, put ourselves into the story.

Cassie Michaels is the boring sister. She’s a character that all of us book geeks can empathize with. She is us and from the beginning she easily wins our heart. She knows that she is boring. She has a PhD in soil for God’s sake. She also knows that she doesn’t enjoy the same things as her sisters. She doesn’t care about marrying the perfect man, and wearing the right fashions, and being a perfect hostess. So she tells her sisters stories of her erotic escapades to get them off her back. Too bad they are all lies.

In the story Cassie has gotten into her current predicament while she was drinking just a little too much wine which she then spilled on her computer keyboard freezing it on her Fuckit List of stories she has told her sisters. If she hadn’t been telling lies in the first place, then she wouldn’t have had to write them down so she wouldn’t forget them when she sees her sisters and their friends at her sister’s upcoming bachlorette party. But really, are they lies or fantasies?

Cassie then meets Simon at the computer store when she brings in her laptop to see if there is any way to salvage it. Simon is your perfect geek fantasy. A former awkward brain who grew into his handsomeness, still wears his geek glasses, and now has rock hard abs to go with them. While Cassie can hope that he won’t notice the giant sex list frozen across the screen, there is no way Simon misses that. In fact, after the adorably awkward explanation from Cassie, Simon knows that he really, really would like to help her fix her computer problem and help her cross off all the items on her list.

We see that Cassie is the perfect match for Simon when in the opening scene a beautiful woman who isn’t very overt in her attention to Simon, gets the brush off. He isn’t interested in the gold diggers, no matter how on display they are, and the shy, barely put together Cassie is what catches his eye immediately.

Simon and Cassie take on the challenge of no-commitment sex in order to make true Cassie’s Fuckit List. In fact, they have so much fun at it, neither of them wants to finish the list. As the list grows shorter, will either of them have the courage to ask for more?

This story is much more than a simple erotic story. Yes, the underlying premise is to get from one erotic situation to the next, but more than that Simon and Cassie have such great chemistry. They laugh through some of the items or they can simply hang together while they make plans to cross off their next item. Under the guise of crossing off the list, they are a forging a wonderful bond. Unfortunately it is Simon’s fear that is the biggest obstacle for their future and the only downside to this story.

Simply put, Simon is an average guy who has become very successful. He is the owner of a chain of computer stores which keeps growing in the state. Simon has become rich and is getting richer. The former high school geek has also found that once the women he dates finds out just how much money he has, they decide that Simon is their key to a lavish lifestyle. Simon is more interested in taking care of his sister who has down syndrome. He has started a special work program in his stores for people with down syndrome and he advocates for health services for people like his sister. He prefers quiet weekend adventures with his sister, than partying the weekend away.

I think Simon’s fatal flaw was his inability to learn from his past failures and apply what he has learned to his new relationship. We have seen this flaw many times before. As they spend more time together, Simon comes to realize he doesn’t want to get to the end of The List. He likes Cassie but instead of recognizing the differences in her from the women he has chosen in the past, he focuses on how all those other women failed to look past his money. They didn’t want to spend time with his sister. This does nothing but highlight Simon’s inability to pick the right kind of woman or his inability to recognize what makes Cassie special.

He is also didn’t learn from his prior mistakes of introduced woman to his sister prematurely, rather than wait until he was certain of his own commitment to these women. Each time he breaks up with the gold digger, he sister keeps asking about the women he was dating.

I understand that as long as Simon doesn’t tell Cassie he has money, she can’t ruin his fantasy that she would be different from the other women who want Simon to pamper and indulge them. She can’t fail him, if he never gives her a chance to.

Instead of listening to Simon’s constantly growing lament about how he wished things could be different with Cassie. I would rather have seen him realize that she was different from his usual date. He can see that she is different than her own sisters who are more concerned with status and money, so why can’t he take that next step to understand that she isn’t like the other women he has dated. If he knew Cassie at all, she would be understanding of not hurting Simon’s sister and why Simon hesitated to tell her about his money. It doesn’t go so well for Simon, or Cassie, in the story when he is found out.

I thoroughly enjoyed Cassie and Simon and their exploits and just wish we didn’t have to listen to Simon lament so much, rather than just have him man up and give Cassie an opportunity to prove herself as better than the others.

This is one of those books that really makes you want to read more from this author.

Cassie and Simon were so much greater than I had hoped for.
Their story had me smiling, laughing out load and sweating at times.
Simon is like a woman's dream. So dedicated to his sister who has Downs Syndrome. He is rich and perfect.
Cassie's list had me laughing especially when Simon offered to help out with it.

I don't want to give anything away so the best I can do is rate this a five star and eagerly encourage you to grab a copy of this book and form your own opinion.

A hot and sweet story from one of my favorite romantic comedy authors! This one has plenty of laughs, and plenty of heat. Simon is used to women coming after him for his money, being the owner of 24 computer repair shops so when a frazzled woman comes into his shop with a frozen computer screen, it's refreshing that she isn't actually there for him. But what's on her computer certainly catches HIS attention - a sexual bucket list of sorts.

Cassie is mortified that her list of lies she's told her sisters about her sex life is now in the hands of a complete (and very attractive) stranger, but she's got no choice. As a soil scientist, technology is a key part of her life and she needs her computer in working order. Simon is quick and efficient and even returns the computer to her with an offer - he'd be happy to participate in item #4 - sex with an anonymous stranger. Cassie isn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth - she gladly accepts. From there, the two work there way up and down Cassie's list - but what will happen when they get to the end?

I enjoyed this! It's definitely on the hotter side, with several scenes that go into a little bit of light kink (hence the Scorched imprint) but all told with the author's usual comedic flair. Simon has a sister with Down's syndrome, and that's a key part of the story as well, as his protectiveness over her is part of what holds him back from getting involved in committed relationships. It hurts her when he breaks up with women she's become attached to, so it's easier to not get attached at all. Cassie is a smart, engaging woman who lacks a little self confidence when around her two sisters, women who always seem to have it together. Fulfilling the list with Simon emboldens her, and her relationship with her sisters takes a more positive turn by the end. It's a low angst story with minimal conflict but enough to make the happy ending worth while. If you're looking for laughs and steam, this one will do the trick.

This is a great book; this is the first book in the List series written by Tawna Fenske. This book is a lot spicier than Tawna’s other books, but just as great. Cassie Michaels is a soil scientist and has spent her whole life feeling like a grungy tree trunk beside her delicate flower sisters. To make herself more interesting, Cassie invented stories about her wild sex life stories she’s expected to retell in vivid detail at a bachelorette party. Cassie’s attempt to catalog her biggest whoppers goes awry when she spills wine on her laptop and lands in Simon’s shop with her sexy list frozen on the screen. Simon Traxel is a millionaire and the owner of a chain of computer shops. But Simon’s interest is piqued, and the two strike a deal to make Cassie’s make-believe sexploits a reality. From steamy public romps gone hilariously awry, to sexy antics with kitchen utensils, their quest to conquer The List is equal parts scorching hot and adorably awkward. This is a great book with a wonderful story and well developed characters. This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises. I am looking forward to reading the next book by this great author.

This was a hilarious and hot read!!

Cassie is a soil scientist who has been telling tales of her sexploits to her sisters for years in order to seem more exciting to them. The only problem is that she hasn't actually experienced any of the things that she told them so one night she makes a list on her laptop of the most outrageous stories she's told them. Wine and computers don't mix so Cassie takes her laptop into a computer repair shop with the list frozen on the screen. Simon is the owner of the computer store chain and when he reads the list, decides to offer himself to Cassie to complete The List. What follows are hilarious encounters and growing attachments.

I could not stop reading this book. Both Cassie and Simon were super smart and would make geeky jokes to each other that had me laughing so hard. From the very beginning I connected to the characters and really never wanted the story to be over. This was an amazing start to a new series and I'm really looking forward to reading the next one!

Love Cassie and Simon's sweet love story filled with laughter. There's an instant attraction when she enter his store. So when he found out about her "list@ he volunteered to help her accomplish the list. Little did they know that the more time they spend together the more their relationship became more than completing the list. Recommend read

This was fun. I love how Cassie’s imagination worked. Boy were here list items sensual. Her reasoning though for doing the list was a little sad. She shouldn’t have felt the way she did for she was something in her own right. She may not have been like her sisters but she was still amazing. She was smart, kind and fun. She was also imaginative and we got to see her wild side come through as well.

Simon was great as well. He was sweet, fun, gentle and frisky. I loved how he was with his sister and how he put her first. I hated to see that who he was made him wary of others but you can see why when you read about past relationships. My favorite scenes surprisingly are the ones where he is with his sister. They are so adorable and the relationship is something special. I hated to see him lose anything because of his love for her. But loved how he protected her and loved her with all that he was. And the program he started because of her was amazeballs and showed how much he cared and wanted to make life better for those like her. He wanted to give them a sense of independence and that they were worth it. That endeared me to him.

So did his moments with Cassie. Okay those were just hot and sexy. I laughed so hard when they were figuring out the kitchen utensils. That was a hoot. Their time together started as a way for Cassie to fulfill her list but as they got to know one another you could see them getting closer. They gelled and understood one another in and out of bed. And I could even understand Simon’s reasons for his secret. I hated when that secret could have come between them. Her sisters though are bold as brass and sweet as honey. that scene on the porch was classic and adorbs.

This is a fun, entertaining book. You fall in love with the characters and don’t want to leave their adventures. You see why they are wary and scared in the relationship department. You feel their emotions and the attraction between them is palpable. The story is great and draws you in from the endearing way Simon is with his sister to the hot moments with Simon and Cassie and even the intimate moments where Simon and cassie learn about one another. A story of finding the one who gets you and letting them in. On forgiveness, understanding and love. This is Cassie and Simon’s journey to love and each other-sexy, entertaining and fun with moments of swoony times and sweet adorable scenes as well.

Well this is published by Entangled under their Scorched banner and it certainly lives up to that! Computer geek turned millionaire, Simon Traxel, tries to help a young lady, Cassie Michaels, in a panic when her laptop has frozen and discovers a list on the screen that is just too hot to handle. The list is of all the sexploits she has claimed to have been involved with - all fictitious but all ways of distracting her two sisters’ attention. He returns her laptop to her and they make a deal to endeavour to complete the list together and so their sexual antics start in what they agree will be a sex-only deal. Get ready for scorching hot descriptions of their antics and cringe worthy awkward times, too, as Simon pretends to be a geek working in the store rather than its owner.

If you like your novels packed with explicit sexual romps and a heartwarming romance, you’ll probably love this.

Many thanks to the publishers who gifted me a copy of this book through NetGalley without any obligations. This is my honest review after choosing to read it!

The List is a winner! I loved it front the beginning to the end.

Cassie and Simon were perfect for each other. They were together for a little fun but the longer they were together you could sense that this couple wanted more.
There were so many sweet and funny moments in the book that one had a permanent smile for most of it.
My heart was breaking when these two had a falling out and cheered again when they reconnected.

I even loved her sisters. They're spotty but definitely had her back when she needed them

A girl walks into a computer store…

In goes Cassie with her laptop’s screen frozen on The List. The wild sex stories she’s been telling her sisters are all on display for sexy Simon to see when he is the one to greet her at his store.

When Simon shows up later at Cassie’s with her fixed computer and an offer of helping out with one of the things on her list involving a sexy stranger with a six pack and sex… well, Cassie accepts Simon’s help. One item turns into two, then three and soon Simon and Cassie are spending time together while getting through The List together.

Cassie is a soil scientist, always with dirt under her fingernails and less than appealing work boots. She was a dorky geek, quirky and passionate about her work. I really liked her and her open attitude towards who she was, though this at times clashed with the whole List business. As is, I could relate to wanting to be accepted by her sisters but not losing her real self in the process.

Simon had some issues to overcome. While he was sexy computer geek personified, the fact that his history with women was less than stellar made him a bit cynic about love. This meant that he was so worried about Cassie wanting him for his money (which he had a lot of) and not repeating his past mistakes, that he went overboard in the opposite direction.

Simon and Cassie had crazy hot chemistry. I wished they could have communicated better where it really mattered, but they do get it right eventually.

When there’s a Fucket List involved you know you’re in for a fun and kinky time. The List certainly didn’t lack on sexy times, which went from kinky hot to sweet and steamy and I loved every second of every scene. I had a fantastic time reading it and I’ll be waiting for more from Ms. Fenske.

Who needs romance with a guy like Simon catering to your every need? Simon is a type A personality with the brains, brawn and hormones to back it up. Cassie is need of some his attention in the worst way. When a sexy list and a glass of wine land her in front of a walking wet dream, will she have the courage to turn her fantasies to reality? The List is headlined by Ms. Fenske entertaining characters and sharp wit. Add on the tension and the sparks are about to light it up.

Simon is the ultimate hero because he makes nerdy sexy, while Cassie is a creative heroine. Cassie has spent years making up a wild sex life and when her computer freezes with a list of stories she told her sister, she need help fixing her computer. Simon is intrigued and all too willing to help Cassie accomplish her list because she is not only sexy but one interesting woman. One simple agreement of no strings hook up get messy when feeling become involved especially when Simon is hiding some stuff from Cassie. I liked the story and the storyline but I feel like the suspense with the characters was lacking. It was an overall good novel so I would give it 4 stars.

Oh how I loved this book!! Geeky guys are my favorite!!

Simon Traxel is a millionaire owner of a computer fix it shops. Well, he owns the whole chain. He happens to stumble upon Cassie Michaels. Cassie is equally as geeky in her own way. She is a soil scientist who needs help. She has spilt wine on her laptop and needs it fixed. Simon discovers a sex list on her scene while facing it. See, Cassie has been telling her sisters crazy sex stories to get them to think she is not so geeky and is more fun so they will accept her more. The truth is, Cassie has not done any of these things. But, Simon is more than willing to help her cross them off her list.

Simon likes the fact Cassie doesn't know who he is and is not after his money. like the rest of the women he has dated. The couple starts off just having crazy romps, bit soon turns into more.

This book had me laughing out loud at some of the crazy things they did. And then, Simon and his sister's scenes touch my heart. I wish that there was more Simon's out there! He was adorable and geeky with just enough hunk to make you swoon!

Hilarious with lots of hotness is what I must say about this books priceless opening chapter. I was instantly hooked on the story while laughing out loud at the scene where Cassie and Simon meet.

This book will be hard to review and not give anything away so I am going to tell you about what I learned from this book. Sometimes relationships are more then they appear, people love you just as you are, they will do anything for you and yet still drive you crazy. Stereo types are just that.... that though one can seem just like another society money grabbing female they are deeper and more caring. That those fears you hold onto can sometimes stop you from experiencing the most amazing things.

Now that the serious emotional part is over let's talk about this story line. It kept me chuckling throughout the book and the scenes where they were working on the list were extremely steamy and often humorous. I enjoyed how the author kept me emotionally connected to the plot and how she kept changing things up to add more value to the what could have been another so-so plot.

Author Tawna Fenske deserves kudos for her impactful portrayal of Junie. The addition of Junie's character warmed my heart and added a richness to the plot. Cassie's sisters were uniquely written and the interaction between Simon and them on the porch still makes me laugh.

Because of the strong character developments, I give this 4 STARS.

What a super fun book to read. A great weekend, curl up on the sofa and just read the afternoon away book. The characters are so fun and flirty with not your average occupations. I loved the fun, sexy and craziness of the list and all they did together. Great character development over the course of this book. I wish the ending in the epilogue he would have proposed marriage to her. It would have been the characters coming full circle in the book. But I still loved reading this story and I can't wait to read more from this author.

when cassie michaels is forced to bring in her computer to computer tech simon traxel she is embarrassed beyond words. her computer has frozen on a rather incriminating document, the list. you see, she's been compiling a list of crazy sexy stories she's told her sisters, and that she might be expected to recount at her sister's upcoming bachelorette party.

cassie is a soil scientist, a girl who loves getting down and dirty with nature and who has always felt like she needed to prove something to her super girly older sisters. she's so mortified when she meets simon that he can't help being intrigued. she's so shy and the things on her list are so naughty that he wants to know more about her. he hasn't felt like that about anyone in a long time. simon has a bit of baggage. his younger sister has down syndrome and while he is wonderful with her, and she is portrayed beautifully by the author, he's found that the women he has chosen in the past don't respond well to meeting her. and since she is the only family he has left, that is definitely not the right response. simon is also super rich, an up-and-coming owner of a large chain of computer stores in the pacific northwest, who's been profiled by forbes and is a magnet for the gold-digger.

the gold-digger magnet thing makes him very wary of starting new relationships, but when cassie seems to have no idea who he is, he simply doesn't elaborate. instead he offers to help her out with really experiencing the items on her naughty list. the more items on the list they cross off, the deeper they find themselves in relationship territory, an area they both swore they didn't want to find themselves in. and when his secrets are accidentally revealed on a chance encounter, he handles things badly.

luckily, he gets his act together and gets over his weird hangups and goes after cassie. since it's pretty obvious from the get-go that they are perfect for one another. this is a fun, sexy contemporary romance, both cassie and simon are super likeable, and it's really refreshing to see them get sorted out without a lot of drama.
