Diana Trilling was a pretty interesting woman. A feminist who insisted that women’s liberation created unnecessary friction with men and felt that career ambitions should be on equal to her husband and child. It's confusing, really... For me, there isn't a difference. You can be a feminist, a mother, a professional woman all in the same.

Trilling led an interesting life, her writing lives on today. Her life, with Lionel Trilling was full of secrets and struggles that I can't even begin to comprehend. She transformed writing and reporting in the 1960s, bringin a more narrative voice to nonfiction.

While this was an interesting look at an amazing woman, I can't say that I enjoyed this too much.
