I highly recommend every book in this series by Sara O'Leary. It is a beautifully illustrated collection that is great for annual birthday gifts. Each book wonderfully highlights common experiences in the growth of a child. I only wish the series would continue beyond age 3!

This continuation of O'Leary's age-based series is a fitting addition, complete with simplistic illustrations and a good text-to-image ratio.

My little one is almost three, and I would love a hard copy of this as a gift. I would strongly consider it as a gift to other threes. It is a precious celebration of the things a little one is newly able to do in his/her third year, and I think a wonderful addition to a young child's library of keepsake books. The illustrations were especially unique. My near-three-year old enjoyed it!

The illustrations are poor and the information is not age appropriate or even interesting

SUCH a beautiful book! As a mother of a 2 year old, I LOVED it. Going to purchase it, along with the previous books in the series now. I will also be purchasing this for all of my toddler parent friends. Great gift book!

I haven't read the previous two books You Are One or You Are Two so I can not compare it to those ones. I thought that this was a cute book with a unique illustration style. It lists things that a child can do now that they are three years old. I liked how every page had a different kid on it, showing some diversity.

A sweet and accurate portrayal of watching your little one turn three! The illustrations express the energy and moods of a three-year-old and parents will LOVE reading this to their little ones and reminiscing with those a little older than three. A recommended purchase for libraries serving preschool students.

You Are Three is a delightful children's book written by Sara O'Leary with artwork by Karen Klassen.

Within twenty-four pages, this book focuses on milestones for three year old children to "celebrate about how much they have grown and discovered," according to the book summary.

You Are Three is a delightful easy-to-read picture book with whimsical illustrations, and it's geared toward three-year-old toddlers. Also, there are two other books in the series, including You Are One and You Are Two.

Very cute book about all the wonders and changes of being 3 years old. My Grandson loved this book we read it twice. He was able to relate to this things in the book like coloring pictures and playing with his stuffed animals. It is a short books so great for a quick bedtime story or when you are just cuddling for a few minutes.

“You Are Three” is sweet but I wasn’t a big fan of the illustrations.

Reading this title with my now two and a half year old, I think the fun part might be in encouraging her to act out what the page describes. For example, counting, doing abc's or colors, hiding, etc so she can see how she is like the characters in the book. It is short enough though that it should hold the interest of a child her age, so that's a plus!

This is a short, cute book about what a child can do when they are three. There are several milestones mentioned in the book such as saying the alphabet, playing with others, talking about your day etc. which not all three year olds will meet. I only hope that parents whose child may not have reached those milestones do not get upset and realize that all children develop at their own pace. Having said that, I have a 3 year old grandson and I could definitely see him in this book. This is a nice way to show developmentally what a two year old may be doing. It would be a great book for siblings to see what a younger one may be able to accomplish or even teens considering babysitting. A three year old may like the book, but I do not think that is the intended audience. The illustrations are great, with children from various nationalities being depicted. Most children or adults reading this book would find a face similar to their own. I also like that the illustrations are only of the three year olds, not adults. All in all a nice book which certainly has its place in a family library.

I love the illustrations, they are really beautiful. I am a little on the fence about this book, I like it and think it would make a nice gift for a 3 year olds birthday but as I was reading it I couldn't get out of my head " What if I'm a 3 year old who can't do those things?". I realise that the milestones in the book are for typically developing children, it just bothered me slightly and at times felt like a developmental milestone checklist rather than a celebration of 3 year olds.

Another great book by Sara O'Leary showcasing the exciting milestones of a three year old.

I found the pictures to be creepy mixture of real and drawn children. But the story is sweet and easy to read.
