I liked this the most of the trilogy. It was still light and entertaining, but to me it had a little more depth and oomph to it. The three books together were easy to read and enjoyable.

Now this was a fantastic story! Unlike the second book, everything was in alignment for the third entry of the Venom trilogy! Alena finds her groove and spine in an effort to set Olympus straight, but it takes a terrible loss for her to get there. A rampant virus, petty bickering and underhanded games being played by the gods and goddesses, and the vampire council being brought to their knees, this book was a page turner from start to finish! Fast-paced action, serious soul searching, and plain old-fashioned common sense reigns supreme in this fascinating, urban fantasy trilogy!

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received via NetGalley.

A great series that left me anticipating the next book everytime, I finished this book and mourned because this was the end of the Venom Trilogy. Smart and funny, Alena keeps taking on the crap life throws her way, from her cheating ex to being made a monster until she discovers her inner strength. Tired of being protected, Alena claims the power of Drakaina. Now doing the protecting, Alena battles new heroes and monsters to unite the sniffling, petty Greek pathenon and save the world. With enough heat between the love interests to keep you hooked, I love that the paranormal story in these books are not bogged not with an overabundance of sex. This story is strong and addicting on its own with enough action to keep the pages turning quickly. My review is based upon a review copy from Netgalley.

I have LOVED this series! Never read Shannon Mayer before this, but I'm going to go find more of her stories. Good conclusion to the Vanilla and Venom trilogy. Really enjoyable series.

There are series you just can not wait for the next book to come out and this is one of those series. As soon as I receive this one have to read all the way to the end without putting it down. Now I got to wait again on the next book but it is always worth the wait.
