I have read quite a few of Lora Leigh's novels and I was very excited to dive into Guilty Pleasure Part 1. It was a very hot intense novel that I couldn't put down. Marty and Khalid's chemistry was off the walls! What really got me was the storyline, the club, there was never a dull moment. If your looking for a erotic romance with a twist look no further, this book is for you!

Marty has wanted Khalid forever and he has been waiting for the right time. He never thought he'd lose his heart after what happened in the desert ten years ago. But his half brothers have threatened to kill any woman he loves. So he must protect her even though she can protect herself and him.
Marty is smart, sexy, and a total badass. Khalid is handsome, a protector, and lover. I have this book in paperback but it had been awhile since I read it. Ms. Leigh's books are entertaining and sexy. This story is hot and you'll need a cold shower after it and a cigarette ( 😉 ). *EXPLICIT SEX AND MFM *

It is coming out in a three part series but netgalley sent it in one book.

Intrigue and love are intertwined throughout this book. Shayne and Marty are thrown into family hatred and become targets to be killed while trying to work on a menage relationship with Khalid. Although Marty has loved Khalid since she was 15 and Khalid had worn others against even thinking of Marty since she was 18, the two come together with the addition of Shayne as their third in a tumultuous love affair. Khalid's secrets from his past thrust the three into fighting for their lives. In the end, half of the threat is over, and i look forward to reading more to see how they all deal with the rest of the issue.

I have been waiting impatiently on Kahlid's story and now we finally have it. He's charming, handsome, somewhat mysterious, and always a third...until now. We'd seen glimpses of Marty in earlier books in the series, but fully meeting her was a pleasure. She is a bad ass. Strong, not a pushover, and stubborn almost to a fault, she finally goes after what she's wanted for years...Kahlid. Wow, when they hook up the sparks are off the charts hot. Add the mysterious Shayne to the mix and the heat factor goes out of control. What I love most about these books is that you get a lot of hot, hot sex, but there's a story there, too. The characters are easy to fall in love with and I can't wait for more in this series.

Having read the previous book in this series, I was eager to get to Khalid's story. I have to say this book had some great steamy scenes between Khalid and Marty (Martha) and a few with their third, Shayne. However, I felt like the book ended a bit too abruptly with too many unanswered questions. Not sure if they will be addressed in future books but I found myself wondering if I was missing a chapter. They catch the bad guy and boom the book is over? No idea what happens with Deerfield or Shayne, although I'll bet Shayne ends up leaving the ménage relationship in favor of his own woman. All in all this book had lots of potential but then just fizzled at the end.

This is the 11th book in The Bound Hearts Series and it sizzles. Marty has loved Khalid since she was a teenager. She is well aware of his lifestyle and the men at the "Club" who invite a "third" into their relationships. After her investigation proves that Khalid is innocent she sees no reason why she can't have what she wants. Khalid has tried to stay away from Marty but finally gives into the dark desires he has been having for years for her. Their relationship is threatened when his past returns.
