This is one HOT read! I was sucked into the story and the characters lives from the first page and had to keep reading to find out what all the 'secrets' were! Loved it!
There's a reason why Calista Fox is on my aut-buy/author read the most lists, and it's because she knows how to write characters and dialogues (yes, dirty talk too) in a way that you'll need a fresh new pair of panties by the time you finish. I also love how there's like this professionalism in this book that borderlines this dark, mysterious sexy allure that you can't help but be intrigued and lured in by. And then when these two comes together (no pun intended) giving in to their explosive energy and sexual tension, it's just *chefs kiss* The other thing I love is that this is a full erotic romance story with substance and not fillers. These characters have fleshed out personalities and their own lives and pasts. Can't wait to see what she writes next.
This was definitely a steamy read. I don’t think the plot is really meant to be hard to figure out, and it’s clear from the beginning what will happen between the three.
I did enjoy this book even though it's not my favorite from this author. I really liked the concept but I thought the world building could have been better.
A very well written novel. It was daring, intriguing and dare I say sexy! Fox pulled me in from the beginning. Now let's add in a love triangle, and you're in for one hell of a Romance. Keep up the work Fox you have a reader in this gal!
This one was a bit longer than I expected, and actually had something that could be considered a plot. There was a lot of backstory for all three of the main characters and their family feud. Jewel was a woman scorned by the man she loved. Their reunion was everything that I hoped for. Vin and Angelo were pretty cool, Vin less so because he has the typical male inability to communicate properly, but he gets over it.
The three made a good pair, and like every other romance story, it all works out in the end. Overall, it was decent. Quick read, not something that I absolutely loved though.
No one writes menages-a-trois romances like Calista Fox. She is the go-to writer for hot and sexy threesomes. Threesomes which not only have steamy love scenes, but also the emotional substance to make you want to root for these lovers. Admittedly threesomes are not my cup of tea, I much prefer a one man/one woman love affair. But Fox spins these romances in such a way that you can really see two men falling head over heals for a woman and wanting to commit themselves to her. And these men are not your average run of the mill men. No, these men are super hot, wealthy and absolutely unattainable - that is until they meet the right woman.
In this case the "right woman" happens to be Jewel Catalano. The heiress to one of the richest and most successful winemakers in California, she desperately wants to make a name for herself without her parents. She has set her eyes on a land that lies between her family and the Angelini's estate. The Catalanos and the Angelinis used to be very close until a tragic death pulled them apart. And even though the two families avoid each other like the plague, the two heirs can't seem to be apart.
Rogen Angelini had to leave River Cross after the tragic and sudden death of his younger sister. He had to leave not only his home and his best friend Vin D'Angelo, but also the love of his life Jewel Catalano. Neither Vin, nor Rogen have heard from Jewel for a long time and are surprised to see her return to River Cross. But a lot has changed since their teenage years, Vin and Rogen not only work together, but they also like to play together. They like to engage in threesomes. Can these friend's tumultuous relationship morph into something more?
This threesome is a very difficult threesome to pull off. First off, they have all known each other forever. They were were best friends, then Jewel and Rogen paired off and later Jewel and Vin. Not to mention that there is also an epic family feud. But Calista Fox pulls off this difficult threesome effortlessly and gives us a romance that is not only highly erotic and titillating but also very emotional and sweet. Can't wait to see what new threesomes Calista Fox has in store for us ;)
As usual this was a super hot read. The menage relationship was done quite well and in way as to not become creepy or repetitive. Jewel, Vin, and Rogen were well likeable. I enjoyed the whole thing from page 1. You like and root for them all, even when they screw up. Enjoyable.
A definite okay read and I would be interested in reading more from the author, but maybe not more from these characters. I'm not sure where the disconnect happened with me, but I do think a lot of readers would find pleasure in this super steamy menage.
I really liked this story. It was well written. It was sensual. Erotic. It concluded in a happily ever after. While many readers of Taboo romance will not be able to suspend belief that 2 men can share a woman for a lifetime, the author wrote a story that made it plausible. This is part of a series, so I'm interested in seeing what else the author comes up with for the next two books. I believe she set the story up nicely for secondary characters to have their own books.
Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for a chance to read this book.

Yowza! This is one deliciously HOT read.
I'm always a bit wary when story is described as a love triangle. However Calista Fox managed to made that a non-issue. In fact, the love triangle creates only just a bit of angst, just enough to put an emotional edge to the story. This is a story centered on menage activities that involve best friends and old loves and at times the situation made me squirm - mostly in a good way. But that's all the warning I'll give.
This trio, Jewell, Rogen, and Vin, have known each other all their lives, have always been deeply entwined but many misunderstandings have led to estrangement and a chance to reconcile. Fox creates a scenario that is unconventional but believable. Rogen and Vin haven't been entirely forthright about Jewell, but they've never really had to be. Now, things are different. They really can't help themselves and neither can Jewell. The story line is fun as they embark on a short adventure, one that serves to cut through all any possible inhibitions ( and there aren't many). It's not all rainbows and kittens though as an undercurrent of jealousy and some inevitable apprehensions transpire, but Fox moved through this at just the right pace.
If you like your reads on the spicier side, I wholly recommend this. I really had a hard time putting it down. If not for the need for sleep, this could have been a one sitting read. It's not often that I read such a sexually bold and charged story and I really enjoyed the characters and the escape from reality. This is the first by Calista Fox that I've read and certainly won't be the last. 4.5 stars and recommendation!

I'm not sure why I stopped and then ended up skimming heavily to see where the rest of the book would end up. I wasn't like hating this??? But I guess it just didn't hook me, and I felt like the romances happened so quickly again that there wasn't any build-up to them. I had liked what I read of the characters, but they weren't enough to make me want to continue the story.
Oh my, how can one book not only captivate your mind with a suspenseful and tightly weaved plot, while sweeping you away in some of the hottest ménage sex scenes at the same time. There is so much I want to say about this book but I must hold my excitement because the reader should really have the joy of immersing themselves in this tangled web that the author has weaved for our enjoyment themselves.
So, let me explain this triangle that will soon capture you till the very end. Jewel Catalano is the daughter to a rich couple who shares land with another family. She was in love with Rogen Angelini when she was in high school and dreamed about their future. Now she is living in New York and has a successful business, but her main goal is to get that land into her name so she can develop her dream come true. She also has a long line of mistakes that she regrets and carries with her each day.
Rogen is also from a very rich family, the very same family that owns half of the land Jewel is wanting to purchase. Rogen has his own wishes for the land but he has other visions for his life than what his father has planned. He also loved Jewel but when Rogen’s sibling died the two families began a war. The hatred between the parents separated Jewel and Rogen, sending him to a different school so he had to accept the distance that they demanded between him and Jewel.
Vin D’Angelo was not only Rogen’s best friend since school, he was also the safe place for Jewel to land while she grieved the separation between her and Rogen. A relationship developed between her and Vin and he thought they would be together, but lies and secrets tore them apart. Now as adults he lives with the bitterness towards her while he represents Rogen as his lawyer, and shares women with Rogen as his friend.
One party, one uninvited guest, one decided attitude to finally offer one of the owners of the land with something he can’t refuse, turns the tables on these three and they find themselves face to face for the first time in years. Feelings can’t be killed, greed never dies, and manipulations will always be present in business, but no one expected a spark that could send both families up in flames.
I really loved this book, even days after I finished it I was still thinking about the characters and the brilliance of how the plot twisted and turned and I was always left wanting more.
I would like to first thank NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for providing us with a copy of this book so that we could bring you this review.
I will have to say that there is something about not only having a second chance love, but double the love makes it even better. There is something about this book that is just so extra sexy. I don't know if it was the fact that you had two men pleasuring Jewel made it extra hot. Jewel is awesome and her take charge get things done attitude it fantastic. I liked how Rogen supported her, Vin did as well but it took some time for him to get there. I also liked to finally find out what the who feud was about.
I give this book 5 sexy kisses...
Happy Reading... Adri
Another outstanding read by Calista Fox - I really enjoyed every bit of this story, and was really drawn into the novel. Fun, deep characters going through intriguing experiences = the perfect read!
A great introduction to the characters with billionaire hype. A great steamy romance book.
The Billionaires is the first book in the new Lover's Triangle series from Calista Fox. I've enjoyed past books from Ms. Fox and was excited to dive into her new Lover's Triangle series.
Jewel, Rogen, and Vin have had history since they were kids. Before the feud between Jewel and Rogen's family occurred, Jewel and Rogen were childhood sweethearts that totally seemed like it was moving towards marriage even when they were teenagers. However, I also found myself liking that when Rogen and Jewel were apart, she found passion with Vin. I think because of the history between Jewel, Rogen, and Vin, I was easily pulled into their story together as adults.
The Billionaires is a super hot romance between Jewel, Rogen, and Vin. It seemed like once they decided to be together, they pretty much couldn't keep their hands off each other, or at least Rogen and Vin couldn't keep their hands off Jewel. Rogen and Vin are very much heterosexual and are absolutely never together in this story. Jewel also has trouble keeping her hands off Rogen and Vin. I did expect Jewel to be a bit stronger than she acted a few times in the book, but understood the new dynamic had to take some getting used to for her. I totally bought into this relationship between Jewel, Rogen, and Vin and enjoyed watching them figure out how to make it work. Especially in what seemed like a pretty conservative area of California. The reveal of the reason behind the feud between the families broke my heart while making me angry at the same time.
The Billionaires was a very enjoyable super hot read. While it isn't my favorite book from Calista Fox, it kept me engaged the entire time and I look forward to the next book in the series.
Rating: 3.5 stars (B-)
If you thought that Romeo and Juliet fell short in the numbers department, or that 80s nighttime soaps needed more threesomes, this is your book. The scions of wealthy wine families are banned from seeing eachother, but the heart wants what the heart wants, and what the heart wants is two other people, sometimes at once. This was a candy bar of a book- a quick and entertaining read, but one that didn't stick with me for long. I'd still suggest it to people who are looking for trio romances.

This was a second chance love meets sexy, hot ménage. I really enjoyed this story and the twists and turns were both unexpected and a pleasant surprise.
Jewel is wanting to finally to set up her own business. She is tired of watching the land that is supposed to be willed to her sit, unused, unloved, and caught between her family and Rogen's family. She is bright, strong willed, seductive, and the perfect match for Rogen and Vin. Not only is she able to catch the eye of best friends, Rogen and Vin, but she's also able to capture their hearts.
Jewel comes up with a plan that can't fail. She will purchase a much sought after liquor and trade it to Rogen's father in order to get him to sign off on his portion of the property. Nothing can go wrong. But then she runs into both Rogen and Vin – the two people she didn't believe she would really have to deal with.
Rogen is her first love. He hasn't seen her in several years because he was shipped off to school and told to stay away from Jewel. When he notices her from across the room, all of those old feelings come rushing back and the attraction that never went away rears its head.
Vin is also at the house that night and sees Jewel – but being the cocky, snarky personality that he is, he just saunters up and SLAP! I loved that scene! Vin was a hard character to read – he showed almost no emotions throughout the story and held onto this anger throughout.
However, when all three of them converge to plot, not only do they come up with a great plan, but their chemistry explodes through the story. It's sexy, sensual, and their sheets were on fire.
This was a sweet story about learning to communicate, healing past broken hearts, and being okay with who you decide to be.

Who doesn't love a good ménage book? And this one is just that!
In an amazing lover’s triangle, we have Jewel Catalano, a very successful business woman who wants one thing, to build on the land that sits between her parents and her parents’ ex-best friends. Along with that, she's hoping to reconnect with her first love, Rogen. Rogen was sent away to school by his parents to keep him and Jewel apart when the feud between his parents and hers started. He never truly got over Jewel. Even when she started seeing his best friend, Vin, when he became more and more distant. Jewel couldn't choose between them then and she certainly can’t now. Needing Rogen to sign off on the property she wants, puts them back in the triangle they began 10 years prior and nothing has changed for any of them. They all love one another!
This book started a bit overly descriptive with backdrop and scene setting. That did seem to ease up quickly. Or, maybe I was completely diverted by the smoking hot scenes that played out between Jewel, Rogen, and Vin. Some of the best I've read in a while, I was enthralled! The story moves forward quickly after that and I was highly entertained and thoroughly enjoyed the read.

This is a sweet, sexy story with a fun plot. I cannot say that I cared for some of the more flowery language at the beginning, but once the characters are established, then we get more plot and less adjectives.
I did want to ask the senior couples what on earth they were thinking by the end – but it worked well to create the atmosphere needed for the story to work. Other than that annoyance at them, I felt that the storylines achieved the intensity and divisions that made this trio reach the point that they did.
Although their money meant that they lived it big, it wasn't really an issue, because they were all pretty much in the same position – and Jewel had as much business acumen as the men, even if she went to university locally, rather than Yale. In terms of intimate experiences though, she is enjoying learning from their previous ménage adventures.
If you like the idea of a trio which develops out of childhood friendships, but now has a chance to explore their true feelings for each other, then this will serve you well. It also has some entertaining side plots.
