This one was okay, the menage was hot and well done but the rest was just too much. Jewel and Rogen are on opposite sides because of their families but they are best friends and lovers when they were younger. When separated Jewel turns to Vin until he left. Years later they are brought back together and this story just went on and on and on with way too much flowery prose to keep me interested. It was a good book and interesting story but could have been wrapped up much sooner and would have been rated higher. The sex was the best part of the book.

I liked this book, but didn't love it. It just felt as though the plot dragged on and then when we finally find out what caused the 'feud' you're just like 'Really? All this over something like that?' I just didn't get it.
Jewel, Rogen & Vin were best friends growing up and inseparable. Jewel's heart always belonged to Rogen, but after Rogen's little sister died, his parents sent him off to a boarding school and away from Jewel. They still managed to see each other some over the years, but they never had the relationship they once had and grew apart. While Rogen was away, Vin and Jewel grew closer, spent time together as friends and that eventually grew into more. Over a misunderstanding, Vin left town and it wasn't until years later that Jewel finds out why she lost her second love.
They're all back together now since Jewel wants to buy the embattled piece of land that she and Rogen are heirs to, but their families refuse to part with their half due to the family feud. Rogen, Vin and Jewel set out to acquire the land from their parents and in the process, they all grow close as lovers once again.
There were a lot of sex scenes in the book, but after the first one or two, they became abbreviated, pretty boring and just filler for the parts of the book lacking much plot. I understood how they grew so close again even though they had been apart for so long, so that seemed reasonable and believable to me. They complimented each other's personalities and provided Jewel with what she needed it seemed.
The ending was probably the most disappointing. Jewel talks so much about how their relationship will work out in public, where they'll live, etc., yet in the end all we get is her first excursion out in public as a couple. I'd have liked to see how they actually did live as a trio and how the inn/vineyard came along. Maybe it'll be covered in future books, but the epilogue wasn't really much of an epilogue or conclusion that left you feeling as though they all lived HEA.
Is it possible to be in love with two people at the same time? Jewel knows that she is taking a gamble by going to see Rogen's father, she needs the land that lies between her parents and his parents. She knows that is isn't going to be easy as the feud has been going on forever and she doesn't really know why. Rogen can't believe that she is actually here as he hasn't seen her for years and it is like time has stood still, he is still so in love with her. Jewel knew that she would run into him but she just didn't realise how much she would still want him. She just hopes that she doesn't run into Vin as that would push her over the edge.
The past is full of love and heartache and Vin hurt her the most, she just never told anyone and she loved them both for a long time but Vin hurt the most, he broke her heart and she never knew why.
Vin is stunned to see Jewel, he has missed her but she is bad for him and he just can't go there again but he was hoping that she would have forgiven him but it seems not.
Jewel has heard many stories about the men and how they share their women and truth be told, she has always wanted them all to be together but she knows that it could destroy whatever is happening now. Can the men go there with her, they both love her and they just don't want to push her away again?
Can it really work with them even with their shared past sorted? Can they work together to make their dreams come true or should they walk away now before they get in even deeper?
Smoking hot, if you don't like sharing this isn't for you. I was lucky enough to receive a copy via Netgalley & the publishing house in exchange for my honest review.
Star crossed lovers, misunderstandings and time apart, this is where we met with the three childhood friends. Family feud that the heirs want to resolve, throw the third into the mix and you end up with fireworks. Jet setting journey and barriers fall. Can love lost find its way when there are three hearts in the balance?
3.5/5
This was rather flowery, peeps, but also sweet and hot, so I'm of two minds about this book.
It's actually nice to have a working menage with a lighter atmosphere once in awhile, and this is exactly what you'll get here.
Jewel, Rogen and Vin *let me just roll my eyes at the names rich parents can come up with* have been friends since childhood. Then their parents had a falling out (for some vague reasons) and started pulling their kids apart.
Let me quickly rant about the REASON. Really? Really?!! With the amount of time rich people spend with shrinks, it couldn't have been spotted and dealt with earlier?
Anyway. Jewel loves Rogen, he leaves, and she falls in love with a more tempestuous Vin. Both let her down.
Years later she wants to buy the land their families part own. Sparks fly and turn into a wildfire. Issues arise, misunderstandings are clarified, and the trio decides to go for the land together. Which is when it becomes really interesting.
There was also this practicality, the ability to listen to reason and their genuine affection for each other I enjoyed so very much. Oh, and the sex. *grins* It was pretty yummy.
What threw me was stilted, flowery dialogue that did not flow naturally and used a lot of fancy words we don't usually throw into our descriptions of someone or something.
The intrigue itself, and Jewel's best friends were refreshing and nice, so overall, this was thumbs up for me, and I recommend this book to the fans of the genre. Enjoy!
Damn. Graphic and quite steamy. Definitely not for anyone who's shy about these topics....
Jewel is back home ready to make her dreams a reality. She just needs a piece of property owned by her parents and the previous friends they are feuding with. This brings Rogan and Vin back into her life.
The relationship between Jewel and Rogan isn't that complicated distance and the situation with their family caused them to drift apart. Vin and Jewel are more complicated. Through misunderstanding, Vin leaves Jewel thinking that she will always choose Rogan over him. This project brings them closer and old wounds are revealed.
What gets me is the reason their parents have been "feuding" for 15 years. Really isn't all that logical to me and that other things could have been done to resolve the situation. Worth the read though and I would be interested in reading stories about Jewel's best friends, Bayli and Scarlett.
Hot as hell or hot as sin is not the right adjective to describe this book. It's just not enough. It's like, when you call Megan Fox a cutie. I mean not even the thought is imaginable.
Just not acceptable.
Well back to the book: The Intimate scenes from this book were just too intimidating and overwhelming, but in a really good way!
I was sweating like a cow while reading, because my heart rate was 10000 bpm and all that only because I didn't expect something this good. I just wasn't mental ready for this.
Even though I am not a big fan of love-triangles – I was blown away by this book. I was fascinated by it. I would go on with every positive adjective, but my english vocabulary is only this big. "THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID" (I am so funny.)
The storyline is great, but like I already said - these intimate scenes were the real eye-catcher. I am still gushing over this book and as you can guess, I won't be over it, for a while. It's actually my favourite Ménage-à-trois book by far.
And well, the story-line had a ending. Obviously it had a ending. I mean it's a standalone, but what I am trying to say is, that this book had a ending, I didn't see coming. It really took me on surprise. The ending was so perfect, I was grinning from ear to ear, after my gawking, for about like thirty minutes. like a crazy person. So all in all, It was a really good read. Take my advice and go for it. You won't regret it.
My Rate: 4 out of 5 💸💸💸💸
I was given ARC copy in exchange for an honest review by Netgalley and St. Martin’s Press.
Jewel Catalano, Rogen Angelini, and Vin D'Angelo have been friends since childhood. However now that they have grown up its explosive. So steamy hot erotica .
Calista Fox will bring you into the world like no one has before!!!
Interesting premise and characters but it didn't really hold my attention for some reason.
This book seems to go on forever. The back and forth between the three main characters throughout the book seems to go on and on. It got old and kind of boring after a while. Wouldn't be my first choice for a book.
The Billionaires by Calista Fox, is a deep raw sensual menage about three young friends Jewel, Vin, and Rogen. A hot, raunchy erotic tale that had me weak in the knees. This story was just what I was looking for!
I liked the story but as a parent I don't think I would approve of the life style in this book. It was written well and I did like the characters. I guess I don't know if I believed all of it.
I didn’t realize The Billionaires was a book featuring ménage a trots when I accepted the advanced reader copy. It’s not my cup of tea; therefore, it is a little silly for me to review. I wouldn’t go to a restaurant, order a chicken dinner and then review it. I have read and enjoyed other books by Calista Fox; therefore, I am sure many readers will love The Billionaires.
Even for a romance novel, the plot is overly thin, the "romance" doesn't appeal to most readers, and the characterization is trite and cliche.
The Billionaires is most definitely a hot, ménage romance read, despite some of its plot implausibilities.
Jewel Catalano returns to the town of her birth where her two ex-flames (who were so much more than that) Roger Angelini and Vin D'Angelo are also residing again. Two relationships that went up in flames. Reunited with the two best friends, Jewel will take them to task to try to fill a lifelong dream despite all the unresolved heartache and conflict.
While the plot is unique and unravels fairly quickly, I found it a little too unrealistic and choppy, with the majority of the weight occurring in one gigantic, hodgepodge scene near the end. The characters were all appealing and dashing but I felt they lacked a dimensionality despite all of the complicated and emotional baggage they all contained. I also wasn't quite satisfied with how everything turned out in the end with regards to the relationship or the larger plot line.
Thanks to the publisher for an ARC in exchange for a fair review.
I did enjoy this read. It definitely did not feel rushed by any means. You get the back story on all aspects and characters that are pertinent to your thought processes regarding these families. Jewel is strong and independent. Even throughout the debacle of rumors and what her family would think. She remained strong and did things for her and Rogan and Vin. There is no over done moments. The cover is wicked. I did not have to base my choice off the cover!! I do admit...I get swayed by some muscles, but this cover is sexy and tasteful. This was a good read and I did enjoy it!
I received this ARC from the publisher via net Galley for my honest review
I have never read a book by this author so did not know what to expect.
The description promised a hot erotic story and this book gives all that it promises.
It may not be a book that will suit everyone's taste due to the ménage but you are aware from the off that this is going to happen.
The story of the family feud and the reasons for a separation and then meet provide a good story line.Jewels determination is the key factor for this. Unrequited look vet and lust play heavily here.
I struggled somewhat with the strength of the reasoning for the rift when it was discussed latterly in the book but I thought it may go another way and on reflection feel this could be a reason for that.
The ending, less predictable than I was expecting and it did leave you to ponder and review your own thoughts.
Lots of sex with a decent story line. Easy to read and makes you want to keep reading to find out more.
Well worth a read.
Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and author for allowing a preview of this book
Jewel has always been in love with two very different men; Rogan and Vin have always been in love with Jewel. When this three decide to try being together, at the same time, sparks fly and lives will be forever changed. This book was steamy, hot and everything in between. (Side note, I also really enjoyed the plot & dialogue as well....sometimes that is hard to find in erotica.)
Cannot wait to read more from Calista Fox!
Absolutely loved this, it was fresh, and a fantastic read. I will have a full review up nearer release day
